This is my primary pharmacy and I have used them for about 7 years. They keep lots of common prescriptions in stock when others don't and the staff are nearly always efficient and reliable. On the shopping side of things they often have little flash sales so I will go inside every so often to see what they have. Very convenient and easy to access from main roads. read more

Not that good of a location. This is especially for the pharmacy. Half the time they don't have the drugs you need to fulfill your medications in stock. And in fact some of mine were weeks and weeks and weeks out and they're very important medications that I need to take daily to not have any issues. I am now sitting in the Drive-Thru as I actually type this I have been here for 11 minutes so far with not a single person coming up to the drive-thru window to help me. They are extremely slow here. Not to mention on the inside everything is way overpriced compared to anywhere else. And the selections of candy Goods hygiene products is very slim. And even the general stuff is extremely overpriced as well. I would recommend to stay away from Walgreens in general especially this location if you're going to the pharmacy read more

We took in a prescription that the doctor wrote. He recommended a certain brand name medication, a compound, but wrote the prescription for a generic. Shari, the pharmacy technician, and Stephanie, the pharmacist, although quite busy, took extra time to talk with us. The pharmacist even left her station and came around to the aisle to show us a certain generic over-the-counter product that can substitute for one component of the compound. The prescription was filled promptly. While we waited we shopped for a few other items we needed. Two staff members were also very helpful. What excellent service! read more

Employees here are always helpful and the store is always clean, bright and well maintained. Their pharmacy is well run and they fill the prescriptions quickly and correctly and also make sure to get you the best price they can with your insurance. There's some nice people and good workers, but two of the pharmacists are not only rude but just... rather unpleasant. They shouldn't be working here, nor should they be allowed around decent people. I hate to give this place two stars there's some really good employees although the prices are a tad high. But ten minutes waiting with that one pharmacist and her just watching me ignoring me with her peripherals, and I truly believe that she should not have a job here. read more

This place is a joke. Writing review as I wait for a prescription for my two week old that was called in 8 hours earlier. Waited in line for 30 minutes to wait longer. It's an ointment so not sure how hard it would be to throw into a bag. Pharmacy is so unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I had my doctor call in a prescription of antibiotics and when I went to pick it up the computers were down. No big deal as the tech said she would call me later with an update. Five hours later and no call, I decided to call the pharmacy. The systems were still down and I asked if I should have my doctor send the prescription to another pharmacy. I ended up having it re-sent to a CVS. I wish they would have just been upfront and told me to do that from the beginning. I needed to begin those antibiotics asap and waiting five hours in pain was totally unnecessary. I know system outages happen, but let me know right away that it will be easiest for me to go somewhere else instead of keeping me waiting. read more

I went through the pharmacy drive thru a few nights ago for a friend. We just left the hospital hoping to fill her prescriptions at 9:30 PM. Even though it was almost closing time, Kim took care of us by calling her insurance, suggesting discount cards and looking for discount codes online to find the lowest price. Kim, you were super sweet and kind. I wish all Walgreens employees were like you. Thank you again for being so caring when my friend felt so lousy. read more

Walgreens in West Dundee is always busy but the pharmacist took the time to recommend 2 otc drugs to help my husbands sinus headache, nasal congestion, and heavy cough. Even with 4 people working behind the counter they seem stressed and swamped but not too stressed to assist me. I appreciate their hard work. read more
