This Walgreens pharmacy is awful. Receive text messages that prescriptions are ready and they aren't. I've been given other peoples prescriptions and have had the wrong prescriptions in the wrong amounts or wrong dosage. Lines are always long. Just got off of the phone with the most narcissistic pharmacist that sounded like he was 12 and obviously in a power trip. Being completely profiled for the medication that I am on. Was threatening me, talking over me and hung up on me. So professional. Over something that I did not do threatening to call my doctor. Falsifying my medical records and putting notes in my chart that are incorrect and false. (Which I have seen because the other pharmacist printed it and showed it to me) I will be filing a complaint with Walgreens corporate, the BBB and the Illinois state board of oharmacists. Every time I come to get my meds at this pharmacy it's never ready and the techs move super slow. they customer service sucks . the black girl Haley always act like she got an attitude every time I come . I hate when she helps me ... she Don't explain nothing . I literally been getting the same meds sent to this pharmacy by the same Dr each month and now it's a problem with my insurance I guess (she ignored me when I asked her why didn't my insurance cover it) my meds were sent in at 1:48 pm it is now 9:00pm and they are still not ready ... at this point Walgreens need to hire more friendly people or get they s!!! Incredibly frustrating to have my prescription ready and be unable to get to it. Maybe shift the staff from filling scripts to staffing the registers until you catch up. The pharmacy at this location is always understaffed & overwhelmed. They are regularly out of medication. Always long lines inside & at the drive-thru. Can't blame the employees as they're not in charge of hiring... Though, surely someone on staff is failing at stocking/ordering medications. It's a shame the local mom & pop pharmacy was bought by Walgreens because the company seems to care more about the retail store aspect than efficiently running their pharmacies. I truly wish I'd thought about coming to look at reviews before I asked my doctor in Virginia to transfer my prescription to this Walgreens while I'm here on vacation. These pharmacy workers are liars!! And the games that they're playing with people's health isn't good. They all need to be fired because in over a 24 hour timeframe I've spoken to people on different shifts for one prescription! My pharmacy in Virginia even went as far as faxing Walgreens the prescription. Called me a few hours later and told me they sent the fax. I waited 3 more hours and called Walgreens just for them to tell me that they didn't receive a fax this afternoon. It's evening now. And I've been calling back and forth since 8:30 am yesterday. Worst pharmacy ever! There is absolutely no customer service skills taught to staff. Employees poorly trained and disorganized. Service always slow and waits length in store and drive thru. Faulty systems with website and delivery. Most irritating phone automation which only seems to want to tell you when the staff is on break. The pharmacy staff has really gone downhill over the past year. Wait times at the drive thru are absolutely ridiculous. I waited with 12 other cars for over 30 minutes. I don't know what the problem is but something has changed with this pharmacy. It used to have great techs etc now they are not friendly, seem pissed that they are at work etc. It's awful. Most of the store staff is very friendly and helpful. Skip the pharmacy unless it's absolutely necessary. Terrible. read more

FORCED to transfer here from CVS b/c of contract w/insurance. Last year I kept getting SALES TEXTS (i.e., flu shot - which I do NOT do!), but screwing up MY refill texts, etc.! ARGH! More recently, I was in to drop off a new script; there were SIX staff I could see in the pharmacy, one of who was on the "express pick up register," none at the drive-thru window or other lines/registers inside. I went to the "drop off/pick up window" & after a couple people were waited on by the young woman at the other register I asked if there would be someone coming over to one of these registers. She replied in a frustrated-sounding voice that she & one other would wait on me, as they were both helping someone else (she kind of tripped over some of the words, which is why I say it sounded that way). Shortly after that, someone at a screen behind her went to the drive-up window & when SHE finished w/the person she had, she invited me to step over. Uhhhhh... I was following directions (I was 'dropping off,' NOT doing an 'express pick up') & I sure as HAILZ don't need an entitled little 20-something thinking she needed to be a smart @$$ to me! I. Hate. This. Walgreens! (But it's the only 24-hour one near by & since they undercut CVS, apparently, they had to hire less-than-desirable KIDS to ring up in the pharmacy. Don't think BIG PHARMA is a problem?! Go see how many people are employed in these places!! read more

Absolutely horrendous customer service at the Pharmacy and a dirty store. When coming in to pick up a prescription, you are almost guaranteed a wait. Sometimes the drive up is better, but mostly it is the same. Today I pulled in the drive through with one car in front of me. I listened to the rather loud conversation between staff and driver. Insurance questions, questions as to what needed to be picked up among other questions were exchanged. Evidently the staff member had to then research the problem. In my opinion this customer should have been asked to come into the store. Instead I and the four cars behind had to wait. The entire conversation was overhead and not once was the customer asked to come in to replace the issue. Since we were in line, we were unable to move to the other lane so we were stuck. A new customer arrived and was promptly helped. After 32 minutes, I was helped and it wi be my last time at this Walgreens. read more

NEVER EVER EVER GET YOUR DRUGS FROM HERE. They have messed up my pain medications twice one time about a year and a half ago I was prescribed 10 mg of norco which are oval and white they gave me 5 mg which are white with pink dots. Had i not been a nurse and knew the difference I could've thought they were just a different brand and when I went back they were laughing about it. It's not funny somebody living in chronic pain and you gave them half the prescribed dose is not funny to me and being in healthcare if I fucked up like that I'd be crying feeling awful. No these people laughed it's hilarious. So a year goes by everything seems fine even with the medication change okay great well about two months ago I turn in my prescription for dilaudid 120 count At first I didn't resize anything these pills are very small about a centimeter but after two weeks it looked lower than normal. So i counted them I'm missing 20 pills. So I call and they tell me impossible their machine counted you misplaced them or took more than usual. After calls to the manager and the store owner they found out i was missing 20. So they call I didn't answer because i had been playing back and forth for days with them and they were saying no it didn't happen they leave me a voicemail and it just says give us a call. Nothing urgent on there so I'm skimping on my medicine to make sure I have enough. A week and a half later my mom goes there to pick up her prescription and they said please give this to Kate. It was 20 pills with a note that said "we shorted you 20 pills very very sorry" are you kidding me? I tried calling to why this happened in the first place I suspected theft no one would call me back. I refuse to go there now. Whatever I probably could've taken legal action or police action but I honestly don't have the energy and it's not going to do anything to them. But please beware count your pills check the labels and look online and make sure that's how they should look. read more
