I WAS able to find crutches here AND a wrap for his ancle but what I didn't realize was that I had to check the height of the crutches... so I ended up buying crutches that were too tall for my dad. I called the shop right away and talk to the what I assume is the pharmacist. He was also the guy who helped me check out so he remembered that I was there earlier. I was afraid he was going to tell me that there was nothing he could do, as the girl who pointed out the crutches to me did mention that they were non returnable... but he was so REASONABLE and even though he didn't have the height that I needed, he ordered the right height and had them ready first thing in the morning the following day!! He let me do an even exchange... and he made what I thought was going to be dreadful non returnable experience.. a simple pleasant exchange. I felt the need to write this long review about my experience with this pharmacist because people like him are hard to find. In a world we're people tend to be... lazy and would rather brush you off with "there's nothing I can do" and "we're out of stock, sorry".... finding someone like him in today's world is always an amazing experience and a breath of fresh air. Someone who genuinely cares and want to help in which ever way he can. I said Thank You a bunch of times to him but I just wanted to say it one more time. More recently, I was in to drop off a new script; there were SIX staff I could see in the pharmacy, one of who was on the "express pick up register," none at the drive-thru window or other lines/registers inside. I went to the "drop off/pick up window" & after a couple people were waited on by the young woman at the other register I asked if there would be someone coming over to one of these registers. She replied in a frustrated-sounding voice that she & one other would wait on me, as they were both helping someone else (she kind of tripped over some of the words, which is why I say it sounded that way). Shortly after that, someone at a screen behind her went to the drive-up window & when SHE finished w/the person she had, she invited me to step over. Uhhhhh... I was following directions (I was 'dropping off,' NOT doing an 'express pick up') & I sure as HAILZ don't need an entitled little 20-something thinking she needed to be a smart @$$ to me! I. Hate. This. Walgreens! (But it's the only 24-hour one near by & since they undercut CVS, apparently, they had to hire less-than-desirable KIDS to ring up in the pharmacy. Don't think BIG PHARMA is a problem?! Go see how many people are employed in these places!!
