I cannot recommend wallmart for any business transaction. We had a set of items delivered from wallmart we did not order - We called them. They told us to change our password - which we did on the phone with wallmart. They told us to then dispute thecharge with our credit card company (which we thought was odd rather than a return and refund) because the item was not returnable. We disputed the charge with credit card company (MC) ... Eventually we were told there would be no credit issued because we had not followed the correct procedure. But we had done everyting wallmart (on the phone) had told us to do. Nasty, sharp business practices. We will never order another thing from wallmart. Beware. read more

Bought a toaster oven cost almost $200. It broke in less than 90 days. Sent email. Told I would get a response within 48 hours. Never happened. Sent second email and same message. I never received any response from anyone. I'm elderly and not able to take to the store. So I had to eat the loss and purchase a new toaster oven in less than 90 days. I went in to buy my boyfriend a Lego for Valentine's Day. I pressed the button and waited and no one came so I started to look for help. Employees just told me "no" when I asked for help. When someone finally came I asked him why other employees just said "no" when I asked them to help me get a LEGO. After a long pause he just replied "well I came because of the button" and then proceeded to tell me how I have to pick the LEGO up from the electronic section. It was a $14 LEGO and I've never not been able to take a low value LEGO with me around the store as I shop. I told him this and he explain how since I knew the name of the character in the LEGO (i read it off the box for him so he'd know which box I wanted) that meant I would steal it and leave the box open in the store and only take the character out. The employee clearly was upset by my question and used his control to make me wait in a line to get the Lego. Once I got to the employee at the electronics register, he asked if I still needed help as he was the only employee who told me he'd help me, just after he was already walking back to help someone else. I explained how hard it was to get the Lego and how after the gentlemen placed the Lego at the counter, he walked away from me and said "bitch" directly behind my back as he walked away. (I turned and saw other customers looking at me, and then at him as he walked away confirming it was infact him who said it) The gentlemen at the counter told me the other employee was being rude and did not at all have to take the Lego to the counter for such a low price. I tried to continue my shopping after but just set my item down with an employee at the front to shop elsewhere. Will not be returning. The other 2 people I talked to about the situation were super nice, however I've watched this same gentlemen treat other customers the same way many times in the past while buying Legos here. I just was never the one to be treated that way until today. Very sad and unfortunate customer service on Walmarts part. And even worse for allowing this behavior to continue. This was the Asian gentleman who is clearly autistic who works in the back of the store. Would vouch for man to loose his job based on customer interactions I've witnessed over the years. The website said I'll find my item on I28. Of course, no sign that displays I28 is visible. So I wandered around until I found what I was looking for. Happily, it was there and on an open display. Picked up a drive up order and not only was every single item in its own individual bag, including a nail polish in its own PLASTIC bag but the box to the HDMI cable I purchased was completely torn open on both sides. Well, against my own better judgment, I needed a few things and tried this store one more time. Boy what a mistake! Went to an aisle to buy shaving cream, had to push the stupid little button for said shaving cream, waited no less than 15 minutes with a two year-old for that employee to come assist with the shaving cream purchase. Nobody ever showed up, I flagged down one employee in the aisle and he told me ma'am, nobody's going to come because they laid off a bunch of employees and cut all our hours and they pay us terribly so good luck getting your shaving cream! This is from an effing employee when I am just trying to buy some damn shaving cream? I gave up and thought I just need to pay for what I got and leave as quickly as possible, went down one aisle and realized I was walking through shattered glass, got home and sat picking glass out of the bottom of my shoes for so long I gave up and threw them out. So to sum up my second shopping experience at this Walmart, nothing has ever made me want to stop shopping at Walmart more than my experience at this location and with the horrendous employees. What is going on at this Walmart. So I was at the electronics section and there is a guy with a black shirt on the phone behind the desk. So I was standing right in front of the counter clearly waiting for him so I can get something behind the glass. He gets off the phone and completely ignores me and walks away. There was another lady that needed a phone charger behind the glass as well so we asked him after ignoring us both. So he says look for someone in blue they can only help you with that. So asked someone in blue and they actually couldn't. Pretty wild then when I finally kept asking they sent a paralyzed employee in a wheel chair that could barely move to open the glass for us. Then I asked the guy behind the counter in the electronics that just ignored us if I can pay for my item there. He said you can pay for it up front. Oh you don't say? I do want to say that since the remodel and a new manager, the store has been more organized, but I do have a major complaint. I went in there yesterday, which was a Saturday at 5 PM after packing up several things that I needed to return, they had their customer service return area closed. This is a multi billion dollar company they should have their customer service area open for returns from 6 AM to 11 PM which states on their website. I don't like to play Russian roulette with my time and my gas. read more

If I could give this Walmart store zero stars or less than a star I would you cannot get a hold of anyone except the pharmacy by telephone. They have this automated system that doesn't work. So credit where credit is due... I last reviewed the store about a year ago after several really bad experiences there. I am happy to report that whoever the new manager is I believe his name is Michael has done an amazing job at bring you that store and employees from a level of complete chaos and complacency to a nicely organized efficient store with friendly employees who actually care about their jobs. The store is far more organized, better stocked and the employees seem to have been better trained at providing a higher level of customer service! I called customer service and said I hate shopping at Walmart and I will never go back again because it's based on lies "says great experience" as a slogan, but this could never be a bigger lie. I will never shop here again, and I know very many people who refuse to shop here because the reputation is getting worse. We went there to get a few things and saw lawn chairs on sale for $5.97, so we bought 2 of them. I noticed that we had paid $9.88 each. I went back in to see if I had grabbed the wrong chairs and took a picture of the sign above the bin of chairs. I took the chairs, receipt and picture to customer service and the employee lied to me saying there is another sign on the other sign of the bin. I got my money back and left. I seldom write reviews but felt compelled because of my shitty experience today. I waited 20 mins in line to check out by cashier. A kind, older gentleman who was overall great helped me. Upon walking out, I opted to not stop to have my receipt and bags checked because a) it's my choice b) I was checked out by cashier and everything was bagged by him c) I was in a hurry to pick up my other girls from school d) I was carrying a cranky baby Well, apparently the older woman (who looks like a bat from hell) was so offended by my choice that she felt the need to roll her eyes at me as I walked past her. Yep this place is terrible. Dirty dirty dirty, made several trips out of necessity in a five day period. The same food items and drink items I had seen on my first trip we're still in place along the isles where they had been partially consumed by people throughout the course of the week. Half the merchandise in this place is locked up and you have to wait for an employee to get it for you! We waited over 15 minutes to get sleeping bags and a camping propane bottle. The majority of employees in this store do not have the keys to open the cases. This store is dirty all over and just basically the most ghetto Wal Mart you can imagine. This place is HORRIBLE! gross, cramped, and messy. I went to check out in the afternoon and there was at 60-75 people in line. They only had 2 checkout stands open! There was lots of employees throughout the store greeting you, watching you leave, walking around the store, conversing in the garden department where I TRIED to checkout. It's always been sub-par but now it's worse. I went through one of the many, many closed checkout stands and asked an employee to tell the store manager to put the items back their selves. I had to walk out. There is NO WAY I'm going to shop for 20 minutes and wait in line for 30 minute. Whoever is running this store, or trying to run this store is doing a bad job. I will go elsewhere. I'll keep this one short, sort of... Overall, I don't mind Walmart. The prices are always reasonable, overall the employees are friendly, and the lines move quickly. Today we stopped in for 1. motor oil, 2. wrapping paper, and 3. a Christmas wreath. 1. I was happy to pay $17 for a 5 quart jug of Valvoline Maxlife 10W-30... that's a better price than my employee discount price at the auto parts store I work at. I will say, I guess you get what you pay for because the motor oil section was a mess. Much of the oil was in the wrong location, and a bunch of spots were empty. A lot of the empty spots could have been filled with the oil that was on the "ask for assistance" top shelf... so it's not that they were out of stock, they just didn't care to bring it down and make sure the display was stocked. 2. There were multiple well-stocked displays of wrapping paper. Everything from the fancy expensive stuff to the cheap dollar-store-like stuff. No complaints here. 3. I bought a large, nice looking, quality wreath at a different Walmart for about $10 a couple years ago. I put it on the front of my truck and it survived there for several thousand miles. Unfortunately, this Walmart's wreath selection in 2019 is disappointing. The only ones near $10 were either tiny (good if you have a Toyota Prius, but I needed one to match my Chevy Suburban), or super gaudy and expensive... I'm not going to waste $20 on something that I'm just going to throw away in a month! I know stuff gets more expensive each year but this is a little over the top. When it came to checkout, we went through the garden section because I always park near there since it's closer to the car stuff... pretty much the only reason I ever come here. The line was pretty long but a Walmart staffer with a portable point of sale/credit card machine went up the line and checked out customers that weren't paying cash... So we literally waited in line about 30 seconds! I wish we did that at work haha. So good job Walmart! In conclusion, if they were a little more attentive with stocking items and overall store appearance, vs having a company meeting in the middle of an aisle (yes, on the way out we had to excuse ourselves through about half a dozen Walmart employees blocking the path and talking about who knows what), this Walmart would be worth of five stars. read more

Big Box Store. Cheap prices and skimpy on the customer service. I always try to use self check out if I'm not just walking around because i'm tired of sitting at home. They recently adapted a "Costco exit" where if you are up at the front they have one person to check your receipt. Which if they were that concerned about theft maybe not make self check out directly infront of the exit doors? But there is literally no rhyme or reason to their method of asking who to check out. Just who they feel or suspect. Males are more prone to it. I got asked to see my receipt for two 3 packs of picture frames and a wall mount clear box for work. I was at the self check out right in front of her and she watched me ring up and pay for all of my items. She asked to see my receipt and I informed her that she just watched the entire transaction and kept walking. I did not get a bag, did not have big clothing on to conceal anything- I was in slacks and a blouse on a work errand. Instead of having an unmanned cash register that a member of the staff is to man in the self check out area in the back by clothing it should be up by the front and have someone there monitoring the 8 registers. Most of the time I have to wait for the photo tech to get back from running the electronics area too. Not that their service was ever spectacular but it's definitely gone by the way way side since I can remember. read more

I went there with my son to buy some LED light bulbs. This Walmart is so disorganized. Many of the light bulbs were out of stock and the ones in stock were in disarray in the wrong places. We spent a lot of time matching up item bar codes to the bar code pricces on the shelve stickets as the bulbs were in the wrong places. We then went to the lamp section in furnishings to look for a desk lamp. Some of them were missing the boxes. We found one we liked, but the lamp shroud was dented. I'm wondering if the Walmart in Windsor is any better as this one is a disaster. read more

Do you know I'm a very polite, respectful person and I'm not gonna say any names, but it's very inappropriate for somebody to take out their anger on somebody else just because they're having a little argument about some socks with another person. I waited asked respectfully excuse me and asked for what I needed as well And she had attitude and responded to me very rude and then I had to wait for her to come back. I'm not mad that I had to wait I'm upset mostly about the way I was spoken to because I could easily have responded back just like how she chose to be rude, but I didn't why because I'm a bigger person and I'm not gonna let somebody ruin my day. At the end of the day its Walmart, however the security guard with a southern accent and 2 RATS-ironic, tattooed on his arm is a constant joke. My husband and I decided to take a break from moving and go for a motorcycle ride. We parked our car in the parking lot on the garden center side to be out of the way. Whilst on our ride, we broke down do it took a couple hours to repair the bike on the side of the road. Security gaurd(SG) had stuck 2 neon green warnings on my windshield right in the line of sight for both driver & passenger. He took the backing that makes it easy to remove off, so it was solidly stuck. we spent 15mins scraping it off with a pocket knife. While doing that SG drove up to us at an alarming rate of speed, then locked up his brakes as he stopped & got out to instigate an altercation. Asked if we didnt know how to read as he saw us attempting to make it possible to see so we could leave. I said I read his vandalism fine before needing to remove it. He said it was his job. I asked it was his job to vandalize customers cars? Yes.. 3 days later, same thing even after telling management. This time SG was parked in the no parking by the doors. My husband stuck the warning on SG's car, what's good for the goose right? SG got to his car, floored it across the store front, down the row we were on, aimed for my husband!! At the last minute steered away and threw something out of the window at us cussing! Super professional!! Add to that last Monday night one cashier and self check open.. and a line back to the shoe section!! I left after 45 mins and not moving past gift wrap in that entire time. Why do you not have backup cashiers?!?! I just left there tonight about 30 mins ago.. I had some returns. I have multiple chronic pain disorders and this odd weather recently has made me not feel well. I finally was able to feel well enough to venture out, I get there and they block off the help counter as I walk up. I waited for a second to see if they infact were going to help everyone but me, they absolutely were. Lady behind the countef yells,"WE CLOSE!!" I explained I was right there when they blocked it off. She said, "NO WE CLOSE 9!!" I walked out. Walking to my car I was pretty sure it wasn't 9pm yet, it was still light out.. it was 8:11pm.. so all the effort and pain I put myself through to get there just to get turned away 49mins early and watch everyone get helped but me. I get you don't set customer service as a priority because u have plenty of business regardless if you're helpful and thinking of your customers, but your customers are how you get paid and keep the shelves full and the lights on etc.. wouldn't hurt to show you halfass appreciate it on occasion. read more
