I highly recommend not going here. The photographers were fabulous. However, when we went to…read morereview the proofs we only had 24 pictures to choose from. The photographer decides which pictures are the best not the customer?! Let's move on, the sales woman Kara reviews your proofs with you and she is pushy in having you get a package deal. A package deal (HaHa) don't let that fool you!! The packages are several hundreds of dollars. She was a bit argumentative with me seeing I wanted the proofs digitally. She was condensing which shows her unprofessionalism. This was suppose to be a positive experience for my senior, but far from it. I will not recommend this studio.

I was forced by my school to get pictures taken here and it was horrible. Avoid going at all costs…read more I didn't get my pictures until 3 months after taking them. It is way overpriced for what you get. The scenery was bad and there were chickens roaming around at random. The photographer clearly did not know what he was doing. The editing of the pictures afterwards were even worse than the original pictures themselves. I payed a lot of money and I only received 1 pack of tiny wallet sized photos. I didn't even get a digital copy. They are not up to date on technology. Their computers were also extremely old. They didn't want me to have digital copies of my own photos so they made me come back multiple times to look at the pictures and then decide which ones I wanted. This process took way too long and was overall a waste of time because I ended up hating all of the pictures.

This company is so old fashioned it's completely out of touch with the modern day. They, as a…read morephotographer myself so I understand the concerns better than most, are so overwhelmingly concerned with "protecting their copyright" that they are pigeonholing themselves into providing archaic packages. No digital prints? lol. What is this? 1997? Phyllis is so worried that offering preschool parents digital proofs is going to let people undermine their copyright, that they fail to provide any digital proof options. She offered to send me low resolution proofs, lol, hilarious... yeah I want a 320x240 rez thumbnail, that's super helpful. For families trying to send photos to family on the internet, we have to scan them ourselves *gasp* and defy their copyright which will still be emblazoned in all glory through their FUGLY watermark they plaster all over every one of their prints anyway. I'll probably use generative fill to remove that dumb crap and send away. Oh but I'm sure their lawyers will be clamoring to find out who I am to sue me for copyright infringement over being a parent who wants to share photos with family on the internet. The funniest part is people still want both hard and digital prints In their packages, so all that MLP is doing is leaving money on the table by not offering this. I wouldn't even care to review this weren't it for Phyllis and her trash attitude and poor customer service. I wasn't impressed that this company doesn't even care to take the time to do basic touch ups on their school photos. It takes literally two seconds to do basic blemish touch ups. They just want to collect their money and move on to the next school.

First of all, I would have never selected this place on my own. I don't understand why we were…read moreforced into it by my daughter's school for her yearbook photo. How is this monopoly even legal? Their prices are outrageous. Charged a hefty "sitting fee". Then if you don't purchase one of their overpriced packages they really hammer you for going a la carte. They don't offer a printable digital copy for purchase (just low resolution images) I'm sure so they can gouge you with their print prices. Ordered prints on September 24th and was given a ship date of November 14. That date came and went. It's been 2 months now since I ordered. I was hoping to at least have them by thanksgiving. When I inquired about it, I was told "next week sometime". Still waiting...... Avoid this place and their price gouging at all costs if you can.

I had also gotten the package that allows Classic to complete my videos and that I would have a…read morefree photo album. On the website, it advises that the customer will have a say in how both of these are completed. While the quality of the photos are great, the way the wedding album was completed was not to my taste. The layout of the photo's were jumbled and they were in a strange order to me. Altho classic has an editing tool, it only allows me to re-size the photos , where I would rather delete them, select my own, and create my own layout. It's not intuitive nor easy to do. And, it has stopped me from ordering the album for myself and for my parents, because I really dislike how it is. Also, my highlight reel, full length, video, were done to a high quality. But my issue is with the music. It was done in a style that does not match my fiance and my tastes. And good music has defined a large portion of our relationship as well as was a major highlight for our wedding. Classic advised on the website that you could have a say in the music but I was never asked, prior to the video being completed. The music reminds me of a commercial jingle. And while three songs were blended together well, my fiancé and I prefer music that matches Neo Soul (Ex: Chrisette Michelle), Classic R&B (Ex: Brian Mcknight) , and Caribbean Soca (Ex: Kes and the band) as my family is from Trinidad & Tobago. When I reached out to classic, they did provide me with the site they get their music from. However, the majority of the music seems to be a fit for one demographic and is not very diverse. The few songs that are R&B and recognizable are old and still did not seem like a good fit. Also, you have to pay an additional amount of money to select certain songs as well. While I love the videos themselves, the music has made me hesitant to share it with family and friends because it does not fit my fiancé and I's personality at all. While I have been highly satisfied by the vendors and most of Classic's other's services. But in these areas where I thought there would be more selections and where I would be allowed to have more of a choice, things have fallen short of my expectations. I may have paid someone more to get what I wanted, had I known this. It has added extra work, and stress to me that I was hoping I would not have had to do, especially after doing so much work to plan my wedding. I may be creating my own album through another vendor, but that will be an additional costs and perhaps not as high of a quality as the one I have from Classic. I'm not sure what other resolution I can find for the music on our videos, that would not cost and arm and a leg to have someone else resolve as well.
