My niece was the victim of gift card fraud at this store on 12/27/25. I gave her a $100 gift card for Christmas. When she gave it to the clerk at the register, she told her there was no value on the card. Sephora gift card customer service told me the card was redeemed on that day for the full value. The store clerk was most likely the one who stole a child's Christmas gift. Watch out and stay far away!! read more

Maritza made me feel like I was at home and talking to a sister (I don't have one but if I could choose one it would be her). She actually showed a genuine care for me and it was unlike anything I've ever experienced from a complete stranger. I felt instantly comfortable with her telling her my issues with makeup not sticking to my face in certain areas. I asked her if I needed a primer and she followed with "do you use one?" I told her I just recently tried but it did nothing. She asked me about skincare and I told her i have none. She quickly took me under her wing and knew what to do with me to make me feel like i was actually a human being who matters. Im not saying all this to sound overly mooshy gooshy.. i just really felt like it was something i didnt know i needed and i just feel really blessed to meet her today. we were here to do a birthday gift shopping for my daughter and her best friend. Emily seem to be like the manager was totally rude. First, she got mad at the kids for trying things and looking up at the mirrors then she was very rude at the checkout when I asked from the cash register two bags one for each girl she refused to give us an extra bag for the girls to carry their stuff saying that there was the Sephora event and they needed the bags. my daughter said I'll take mine and put them in my bag and she gave the cardboard boxes to them to throw. They said they could not throw those in the store and we had to throw them out. This is one of the worse Sephora's I've been to. Over the holidays when I went back home, I decided to stop here and see if I could pick up anything tax-free since I was in NH. Everything was out of stock. One of the employees showed me this Anastasia blush palette that I really liked, but of course it was out of stock. They said they could order it for me, but that meant I'd end up paying for taxes on it anyways. An older woman that works there proceeded to lecture me about how it was the wrong color (even though I was trying to ask her if the names changed and what the new color was called) She grabbed my cheeks and put different shades on my hand without asking. I've been in this store several times and it's always been great. They have endless options for cosmetics and skincare. You'll find brands here such as Lancome, Benefit Cosmetics, Tom Ford and Clinique which are higher in price than your drugstore brands but worth every penny because of the quality. They have plenty of opened product in the store that is available for you to try out and this helps a lot with deciding whether what you're looking at is something you want to go ahead and purchase. Plenty of mirrors around and they have several stations with makeup removers, cotton puffs, disposable mascara wands and other implements that you can use to try on their cosmetics. The salesclerks here are all very helpful in answering questions and helping you locate the products you want and they will let you shop at your own pace without making you feel obligated to buy anything. If you try out a skincare product in the store and your still not sure whether or not you like it enough to buy it they will make up a little container for you to take home and try which really helps if you want to see how well something really works after using it a couple of times. They keep the store very well stocked and I've never been unable to find what I came for. When you're here don't forget to ask about their Sephora Beauty Insider program which is their loyalty club where you can earn points for your purchases and cash in your points for different goodies such as travel size skincare and cosmetic products when you've built up enough points. read more

This may be the first Sephora review ever by a straight guy, but I've hit 200 reviews and frankly, I live in the burbs and I'm running out of restaurants. For me, this is a place where I can pick up "stocking stuffer" Christmas presents for my wife. Sure, I look like the clueless fish out of water that I am, with all kinds of brands and part numbers written on a piece of paper. But I have to admit that the people who work there are very helpful because they usually take pity on me (or maybe want me out of there ASAP). And the place doesn't smell nearly as bad as walking through the perfume and cosmetics departments of Macy's or Lord & Taylor. You know, the ones staffed by women in lab coats who spray stuff on unwitting customers. At Sephora, the displays are (obviously) colorful and I think there's some kind of logic to where things are even though I've never been able to comprehend it. I can't really comment on prices because I have nothing to compare them to, but in my head I'm looking at some little bottle of goo, doing the math and thinking "Wait, that really costs $582 a pound! What's in there?" This is why I only go into a store like that alone, and only once a year. I'd be way too annoying otherwise. read more

Malls aren't my favorite places, but I was happy with Sephora when I stopped in after my visit at Macy's. The woman working there was friendly, and helpful. She offered me a sample of ANYTHING I wanted in the perfume section. I got 4 samples (she filled little spray vials from the bottles on the shelves, labeled them, and put them in tiny sealable plastic bags). She also made several recommendations that were on target for my likes, and she stuffed a few other samples in my loot bag. I will definitely go back to get a few bottles when I decide what I want, so it was in their interest to pamper me, or at least make eye contact! Also, it really helped me discard a few perfumes I thought I was interested in. I bought a tube of their basic mascara $10.00, and my lashes look exactly the same after I've applied it. Yelp only has one star but if I could give zero stars, I would. I went into the store a week ago and was looking for a product to contour with. As a woman of color, it is important that I spend time looking and testing products out. I asked one of the Sephora floor employees to help me pick out a shade to contour with, She looked at me raised her voice and told me that I "was too dark to contour". Of course, I was puzzled. Skin tone is a spectrum and I was not even the darkest of dark, regardless I have seen people DARKER than me contour amazingly... so uh? Everyone in the store heard her try to convice me that I was too dark. I rushed out the store in embarrassment.... Although I appreciate Sephora taking preventative measures to make sure everyone is safe during this difficult time, I think it is important to make those who work there aware of some of their layout ideas. If you are going to have people wait in line I would recommend having 6ft markers. There was also someone outside the store, and although she was friendly, she was explaining to us what to expect in the store and it was very complicated and confusing. There was also a girl in line who sneezed about 5x which not only made me leave the line but I think it emphasizes my point to have 6ft apart markers. read more

I am disappointed by my experience at this Sephora. I came in on 1/23/16 in the afternoon. Yes, it's a Saturday at the mall but it wasn't that busy. There were a lot of staff just standing around talking to each other. Even though I almost always order my Sephora online (VIB member), I wanted to come in to get matched on a cream color and also get some suggestions on an eyebrow pencil since I have always used a gel/powder before. There was an employee saying hello to passer by's and when she said hi to me I said hi back and asked for her help. She honestly seemed almost annoyed that I needed help. She did match me on the cream I was looking at but I didn't really like the way the cream was settling into my skin. She didn't once ask me about how I liked it, or what could be better. These are prime selling points, she could have pointed me in a different direction or even sold me something to go along with it. Disclaimer, I used to sell Benefit Cosmetics so maybe my expectations on salesmanship, especially for makeup is high but shouldn't this come easy to someone who's entire job it is to sell and assist? I ask about eyebrow pencils and I specifically wore my eyebrows bare to get the perfect pencil. She kind of said, "ummmm let's try this one" without asking me about my routine or how I like them to look. She did brush one on for me and I tried the other brow. I liked it but I wish she offered to show me some other options too. It seemed like she just wanted me to get away from her instead of sell sell sell! This was not the experience I was expecting coming in here, I wasn't wearing much makeup that day because I wanted to try some on to buy it! I probably would have spent a lot more that day if she was better at her job. One more thing I was very unhappy about is that I didn't receive any free samples. When i order online, i usually end up with at least 6 free samples of things that I pick out myself. I did not receive one thing. Not one in the store. Next time, I will go in, test things myself, go home and order them online. read more

Super Friendly and helpful staff! The only place I buy my makeup from...only thing is this location doesn't really have a good stock of supplies. They also do makeovers when you spend $50 or more which is a pretty good deal, you can always just buy some of the things they used on you. read more

I like this Sephora. The staff members are nice and helpful, Michelle (I think thats her name) has helped me out a couple times so far with my picky skin. She has great suggestions and I like that theyre not pushy or biased to one particular product line. I hate returning things, but if you must, returns are easy. Love that they offer samples of anything before you buy - its nice to be able to try a product out for a few days before purchasing a full size, especially is your skin is as fussy as mine. read more

When I hit them, it was after Christmas, so it was pretty low on supplies and on the messy side with all of the grappling that had gone down. I still managed to find myself some delicious pomegranite lip gloss and a sparkly, purple eyeshadow that will make a great gift for a friend of mine. Yeah, there's a lot of scents, but at least no one is assaulting you with spritzes of horror. Avoid the walls if you want to stay away from those who are scent-shopping. read more

I LOVE SEPHORA! But I must say that not all stores are created equal. The one at Rockingham, while it does not stock as many product lines, has a pretty well informed staff. There are a couple of people that I tend to see quite often and they seem genuinely interested to help you. There is a girl named Shayna whom has helped me on a few occasions and she is great. There is another lady there, but I can't remember her name (not good with names) that always has great tips!!! I really appreciate her advice, and she is pretty spot on with product info. But the new girl they have working the register...ugh. F*ckin dear in headlights! "Hello" accompanied by a smile....and that's about it. She doesn't say much of anything, even when trying to strike up quick and friendly chit chat. And when you are finished with purchase she doesn't say a thing, even when spoken to....um...weird?! YES!
