The CVS in Royse City has staff that are not aware of current protocols making me worry they are not keeping up with CEUs. They make errors and have more than once dispensed medications when they shouldn't have. They should catch errors or not made errors themselves. They are the last line of defense before we take potentially life threatening substances with trust that they have our interest in mind. The facility is dirty the carpet and floors look as though they have never been vacuumed. There is just enough nonsense going on there that we find them unsafe to use and think if you're reading this you should use caution there. Walmart is right there use them. Or drive in to one of the other nearby cities and find a safer pharmacy. Be careful

When we lived in Richardson we use to shop at a store all the time with the no carb buns/breads, I was greatly surprised to see that this place has those here. They also have different kinds of milk to choose from, butter, meats, and sweet treats. Seriously I'm so excited to see all of these healthy choices of foods to choose from. Not even to mention some of the different medical chairs, wheel chairs, medical beds, walkers, crutches, C-pack machine stuff, air purifiers, and so much more. There is a cool section of shoes to choose from. They even have the machines to measure your feet and show where your pressure points are. So that they can give you the shoe that fits you the best. What I thought was really mindful is by the front there is a section just for baby stuff for anything the new parents can now find things that Walmart won't have. The selection for the baby bags is amazing, I would personally use more of these bags as a personal bag for myself. The section with the bathroom safety stuff was really cool to go through cause I personally wouldn't know where to get a lot of the stuff for the showers. Knowing that there is a place that's closer then Greenville or Dallas makes me feel a lot better about being out here now. We must have talked with the owner for a good hour or more and they all seem like great people and love hearing the input the people have to say. I walked in for one item. As I was walking up to the register the man there left and walked over to the photography section to help someone. They weren't purchasing anything. They also have a large parking lot, which is convenient. My biggest complaint is how heavily they push self-checkout while rarely having enough cashier lanes open. It's especially frustrating when you have a full cart and all the self-checkout stations are already occupied. Having more staffed checkout lanes available would make the shopping experience much better.
