If you need your medications, stay away from the Walmart Pharmacy in Delano. The new pharmacist in charge, Jayde is horrible. She is fairly new to this pharmacy. If you have any type of controlled medications she will refuse to fill. My grandmother of 87 years olds was denied the one and only "control" medication she has. She takes one of the lowest doses available once a day as needed and the pharmacist is refusing to fill. To be clear the medication refill was approved by her medical doctor who treats her for diabetes and has been treating her for years and monitors all of her medications and overall health. She is not some junky off the street but that is how she treats anyone with a controlled medication. She uses her "professional opinion" as an excuse not to fill these types of medications. I have spoken to others and this has become common for this pharmacist. She is also rude to customers and her own pharmacy staff. I have had to transfer the medication and some of the doctors offices in Delano have stopped using this pharmacy for their patients due to problems with medications of all types being fillled.
