I am giving them 5-stars because they had availability for a Pfizer Covid Vaccine so I got one last Friday when I stopped in. And the woman who administered it was as nice as can be. Now I bet you are saying, David! you are going to have to drive back there for the 2nd in 3 weeks! No, no, no--they got me an appointment for the 2nd close to where I live. Although if you have ever been to Porterville--you may want to come back here and stay at the Ritz Carlton Porterville. About the CVS Store: Not as well stocked as a CVS store in LA. Large free and easy parking. Just as easy to get your bicycle stolen here as in LA (see my pic). I asked the CVS woman who checked me in for the Vaccine how it went for her? She said--I am not getting the Vaccine unless they make me. I don't trust it. I asked here if she gets the Flu vaccine? Nope. (If I worked in a drug store with sick people coming in all day I would definitely consider getting vaccines.) Next door is a Starbucks with outdoor seating--I hung out there a bit. Across the street is The Habit. They told me that they have a new freezer just for the Covid Vaccines and plan to administer them here for a long time.

But Rite Aid on Morton Ave. in Porterville is the ONLY store I know about that requires you to remove your Driver's License or ID from your wallet or purse to scan it. It is VERY irritating. I have used it in the past and it was a mission to get through the actual car cash since it wasn't registering the cash tendered the first time. I went inside and had that resolved. Months later I have pumping gas and though I'd give it another try. Oh was I wrong. I paid for my wash at gas checkout and was given a code to enter at the car wash. Come to find out it was an invalid code. There was two cars behind me so I tried using the help button on the machine. It didn't work. Ok, I dialed the number on the receipt,but wait it was an incorrect number. I googled the location, but wait that number was disconnected. Now I have to leave my spot and go inside. I go inside to inform them of my problem and the manager walks out saying it should be working. I tell him I no longer have the time to get a wash, and ask for my money back because I no longer have time. Manager again give me the no cash back attitude. Needless to say, I was late to work 25 minutes in order to get them car wash dilemma resolved. NEVER AGAIN! SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND HASSEL! DONT GET A CAR WASH HERE!!
