Wow! I can only…read morerefer to this particular CVS because this is what I found to be the case at this location. However, I have to figure this is a widely spread practice, probably not just at CVS. On our way home late at night we often stop here to pick something up as a snack. My husband and I wanted ice cream, the kids wanted a candy bar (I got 2). At home I was about to open the sealed bars for the kids and noticed that the folded flap on the back (where you lift to see the expiration date) on one of the bars was NEATLY TRIMMED OFF (the other one was fine). It was nice and flat as usual so un-noticed when you picked it up in the store, but when you go to open it you can see someone took (probably a pair of scissors) and neatly trimmed that fold that runs the entire length of the bar off. REALLY ? I guess I should not be surprised because greed (as much profit for the seller of anything); quality (shrink the sizes with less product for more money); supply as little service as necessary to move products with consumers serving themselves, etc. play a huge part in absolutely everything we buy these days. But, this has to be illegal. Take care and carefully check everything before you buy, including every nook and cranny of all packaging, and leave nothing to chance. Shame on you CVS 13800 Hull St Rd Midlothian.

Whatever you do, do NOT use this pharmacy! They misrepresent, don't read prescription requests,…read morelie, and are extremely rude! I just went through two days of pretty hardcore surgery. Called ahead to inform them that we were having a new script transferred here, as the Walgreens at Genito is now closed...... and to assure script would be filled asap. They said they couldn't fill scripts from another Walgreens. Assured doc would send script to them for their pharmacy. Was assured not a problem, and they would put script to front of line, as they knew it was important. Called doc, doc immediately sent new script. Got to pharmacy, they said the script was written for the other pharmacy (even after I called...and I had doc on phone and doc confirmed she sent to Temie Lee location). We stated we would go to dinner and come back to get script. Called doc, doc ASSURED us script was sent to correct pharmacy. After dinner, went back, got same excuse. Phone gal got upset because we said we KNEW it was sent to them, she sent mgr(?) to speak w us. Mgr said she wouldn't fill. Keep in mind, I just had serious surgery and NEEDED meds. Obviously, I was upset and said something I shouldn't have. Mgr then said our business was no longer welcomed there. Called doc again, doc called Walgreens yet again. They finally filled it, but took 15 minutes sitting at window, and then they refused to even speak with us, other than demands such as " Need ID", "birth date", "state address". I guess I'll find out if they even filled the correct prescription later tonight, but I'll have husband post if they messed with it.... Whatever happens, if I can convince ONE person to move their prescriptions elsewhere, I will be thankful. I used to drive miles to use this place. No longer. In fact, Walgreens may NEVER see my business again, so sad.

I called the store…read moremultiple times trying to get to the pharmacy counter to ask if they could deliver my heart medication as I am not currently up to going out. The first time, I got that impossibly STUPID ROBOT who would not answer any questions, only insisted on the dumbest questions such as did I want the Instant Clinic. No. If I did, I would ask. I know I have a filled prescription. I didn't need the Robot to tell me I did or I didn't. When asked, I gave my birthdate, since I was not given a choice and it couldn't even get that right. I kept asking for a "person", the pharmacy, a clerk, a customer service representative. NONE OF WHICH DID I GET. I asked if they could deliver and there was no intelligent response to that. What is so hard about "yes" or "no". I then tried to look up the corporate number to see if there was an intelligent being there and somehow, I found myself talking to the CVS at the intersection of Centralia and Ironbridge and that person (it was a person) was dumbfounded to think I thought that I had been talking to the 13800 Hull Street Road store. I know what store I called (it was the same one that had been calling me on Hull Street to tell me that my prescription was ready per Robot.) However, I took their direction and called Hull Street again several times always with the same result of NOTHING ACCOMPLISHED until I decided to ask for the front store and once that phone got answered and I told the person to please tell the pharmacy to call me or pass on the message that I was trying to speak to them I was told, "Oh, I can't" but that dear clerk did ring the pharmacy. Finally someone in the pharmacy answered the phone and yes CVS could deliver, but only after I clicked the link they would send me, and she did. Because, the catch is: they have to ALREADY have my charge card on file. Well, by that time, I could NOT remember the password on the charge card and so NOTHING HAPPENED. YOU KNOW WHAT, WALMART DELIVERS AND THEY ALREADY KNOW ME AND MY CHARGE CARD. SO THAT IS WHERE THE PRESCRIPTIONS WILL GO FROM NOW ON. Dream on CVS. Some/most of the staff in that store are very nice and have tried to accommodate me. BUT THAT ROBOT IS DRIVING PEOPLE AWAY AND YELP SHOULD FORWARD THIS TO CORPORATE CVS. Thank you Carol Conz 14500 Ashbrook Parkway, Chesterfield 23832

Candice, specifically, has been providing me with the worst customer service I have ever…read moreexperienced in my entire life--across any industry. Every time she answers the phone or speaks to me in-person, she tries to gaslight me into contacting other CVS Pharmacies to fulfill a prescription that I've been taking for 10+ years. Today on the phone, rather than checking to see if my prescription was ready for pick up (which it was), she gave me the usual runaround and told me to "contact my doctor, contact another location, or wait a few more days". I'd called yesterday and MY PRESCRIPTION WAS READY FOR PICK UP! I drove to the Pharmacy and I simply waited by the register, knowing that (according to what her co-worker, Sarah, told me yesterday) it was available for pick up. Candice, of course, was the sole person at the counter. She suggested I come back another time, refusing to simply put. the pills. into. a container. Upon seeing that I wasn't leaving, she gave me a vague "I don't know when I'll be able to have it ready", gesturing around like the pharmacy were on fire. Even then, in the midst of a huge and unprofessional blunder both in-person and over the phone, she had tried to tell me--to my face--to come back later. It's like she's rather run me around out of spite than simply do her job and let me go home.

Sat there for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment and plenty of cars behind me. Finally gave up, went inside and got my prescriptions. I asked the kid who rang me up why they had the drive through closed an hour and a half before closing with no note on the window or any indication that they weren't servicing customers through the drive through. Response: "we only have two people here." That doesn't explain why they can't put a note in the window saying drive through is closed and doesn't assist disabled customers who utilize the drive through rather than deal with going inside. As someone who works in healthcare, I get that we're all overworked and underpaid but going against company policy and closing a service without giving some indication that people will need to go inside is both inconsiderate and irresponsible. While I doubt this review will cause any change or result in a response from management, one can only hope they get their act together.

We have a family member on a controlled substance, which can create an understandable delay in monthly prescription fulfillment. However, no matter what I do to facilitate the filling of this prescription, including multiple calls between the pharmacy and the doctor's office starting as soon as the prescription can be refilled, there is a problem. Every month. These snafus have left us in gaps without medication. On the other hand, the robo calls from CVS for prescriptions that can be--and purposely haven't been--put on auto refill are incessant. Multiple calls a day, incessant. And these prescriptions are filled even when asked not to be. This has resulted in accidental pick-ups of prescriptions that are no longer being used (and of course could not be returned). (The fault for picking up unnecessary prescriptions is ours, of course, for not checking/miscommunication between family members/etc., but it is beyond frustrating when I have requested prescriptions to be cancelled or not automatically refilled.) I'm going to try using another location, but I think the flaws like the robocalling and pushing auto refills are company-wide. This location worked for us because it is located close to one of our work locations and is not in a strip mall, making it easy to access at rush hour, but there has to be a location that is somewhat better. And there is a pharmacist who is rude and unpleasant when picking up the afore mentioned controlled medication. Like I said, I understand the requisite control and protocol, but the politesse and customer service is lacking. I am just so fed up with constant hassle that has very real effects because of delay in medication fulfillment, regardless of my efforts and the efforts of our doctor's office to facilitate the transaction.
