Whatever you do, do NOT use this pharmacy! They misrepresent, don't read prescription requests, lie, and are extremely rude! I just went through two days of pretty hardcore surgery. Called ahead to inform them that we were having a new script transferred here, as the Walgreens at Genito is now closed...... and to assure script would be filled asap. They said they couldn't fill scripts from another Walgreens. Assured doc would send script to them for their pharmacy. Was assured not a problem, and they would put script to front of line, as they knew it was important. Called doc, doc immediately sent new script. Got to pharmacy, they said the script was written for the other pharmacy (even after I called...and I had doc on phone and doc confirmed she sent to Temie Lee location). We stated we would go to dinner and come back to get script. Called doc, doc ASSURED us script was sent to correct pharmacy. After dinner, went back, got same excuse. Phone gal got upset because we said we KNEW it was sent to them, she sent mgr(?) to speak w us. Mgr said she wouldn't fill. Keep in mind, I just had serious surgery and NEEDED meds. Obviously, I was upset and said something I shouldn't have. Mgr then said our business was no longer welcomed there. Called doc again, doc called Walgreens yet again. They finally filled it, but took 15 minutes sitting at window, and then they refused to even speak with us, other than demands such as " Need ID", "birth date", "state address". I guess I'll find out if they even filled the correct prescription later tonight, but I'll have husband post if they messed with it.... Whatever happens, if I can convince ONE person to move their prescriptions elsewhere, I will be thankful. I used to drive miles to use this place. No longer. In fact, Walgreens may NEVER see my business again, so sad. read more

This has been my pharmacy for years. Staff is always polite and courteous. I get notifications advising of the status of medication orders and if they don't have it, they redirect me to a store that does have it. A+ read more

40 minute wait even though I had an appointment. Rude & passive aggressive customer service from "CASHIER 129 - ISABELLA" who ripped my receipt & laughed & mouthed things to her coworkers who were actually doing their jobs. Isabella does not know much of what she's doing & I think she's quite confident in being rude for someone who usually does not have any idea what she's talking about. read more

I have purchased items from the photo center before but this time was horrible. My father died and I ordered memorial cards for his service coming up and was upset to see that they decided at the bottom to advertise the photo center on the memorial. I mean seriously who thought "hey this man died, we should put an advertisement for our photo center on his memorial card so those attending may think of us for the next funeral". It's embarrassing that I don't have time to make new ones and have to deal with their decision to do this at this time during his funeral service. Whoever is in charge needs to rethink their strategy because that's just stupid. read more

The pharmacy techs and pharmacists are adequately trained, but the pharmacy is understaffed. During peak hours, they need more help. In addition, the pharmacy phone tree process is outdated. The system is subpar and waiting for someone to answer the transfer is a complete waste of time. I'm looking for another pharmacy. read more

This was my second time interacting with the front end clerk Diana and both times she was extremely rude. I needed to send a package via FedEx and went to her register. I started to speak and she cut me off saying I'm doing a price check and she then pointed to the other cashier and said he's with a customer, you need to wait. I continued with my question as to what line I needed to be in because the customer was not in front of her at the time. She then states, I'll call some one over to photo, you can go over there. Someone really needs to retrain her on customer service because this in unacceptable! The first time I let it go because I thought she was having a bad day and it happens, but two times in a row...very inappropriate! read more

I have been coming to this Walgreens for years, and unless I move outside the area, I will continue to use this location. There is another Walgreens in my area, but I definitely prefer this location. They are very speedy, and friendly at the same time. Whenever I need a recommendation for an over the counter cold medicine, they are happy to oblige. I also love that they have the express pay option. It makes for a very seamless transaction at their drive thru pharmacy. If you don't know what that is, ask them and sign up bc it really does make the drive thru experience less of a hassle. Yes, it's just a Walgreens. However I have been to some pretty bad ones in the past. This location is well managed and has great customer service, and I haven't ever had a bad experience. read more

As a crow flies, this Walgreens is the closest to my house, so I recently tried it out to pick up some digital prints to collect autographs at an event later that evening. My order was fairly small (2 8x10, 4 5x7, and 4 4x6) and after submitting my order online was quoted a reasonable 30 min pick up time. The online ordering process is pretty simple and includes photo-finishing as well as prints, good customer experience from an order submission perspective. Strike 1: I arrived at the store, but peculiarly, there was no one to be found anywhere around the photo area. I waited for a while and noticed that not only was no one around the photo area, there was no one manning the registers in the front of the store either! After 5 minutes or so, I went on a mission to find an employee and after scanning three aisles, finally found a manager stocking an end cap in the back of the store. I asked for some help and he quickly stopped what he was doing and walked me over to the photo area. Strike 2: I'm guessing the management program either didn't include much time in the photo kiosk or its been a while since he was trained, because after he fumbled around for a few minutes, he came back to me and said "Actually, let me get someone over here to help you." Frustrating, but he gets a gold star for effort. Strike 3: Another 5 minutes later a lady came over to help with a bit more knowledge of the kiosk and sprung to action. Apparently something was wrong with the cartridge, so she had to spend another 5 or so minutes switching it out before my order could even start printing. She apologized for the delay and after the cartridge swap the machine starting humming away...printing what ended up being 200 anniversary party invitations -- a backlogged order that was apparently submitted before mine, but was unable to start printing until someone swapped the cartridge. Ugh! Strike 4: I was clearly irritated by this point as we are now 15 late from the quoted pickup time, making me now 15 minutes late getting on the road for the event that I needed the pictures for in the first place! I told the clerk that I was in a hurry and needed the photos to go to an event, but frustratingly, she said there was no way to stop the order once it starts. Whaaaaaaaaaat?!? After 15 minutes of me tapping my fingernails on the register (now 30 minutes after the quoted pick up time), my order finally STARTED printing. The clerk quickly threw my order into an envelope and again apologized for the wait. I was pretty mad by this point and made a comment something to the effect of "I almost don't need them at this point." Here's where Walgreens promoted themselves from 1 Star to 2 Stars: she again apologized and proactively offered to take 50% off my total. The quality of the prints was decent (the 8x10s were more grainy than I would have liked), but the trials and tribulations that I had to go through to get them was very disappointing. I like the fact that the manager tried to help, and I like the fact that they offered a 50% discount, but at the end of the day, if the shop was more organized, neither would have been necessary. read more

The Pharmaceutical department is horrible here. I get my rx here (because it's close to home) and Fort Lee because we're military. I was told that by Fort Lee Pharmacy that Walgreens would teach me how to give myself a B12 monthly shot. 01/13/2023 at 11:33am a very rude female pharmacist said she would NOT show me how to do the injection. I've been going here for years, and I was flabbergasted at how rude she was to me. Next i went to Walmart in Midlothian and they were very nice saying they would be happy to teach me how to give myself injections but they don't take my insurance (tRICARE for life) Next i went to CVS near my house and they were more than happy to help me with my injections. I'm so disappointed in this Walgreens on Temie Lee Parkway in Midlothian. They use to be the very best pharmacy until 3 years ago. After the pandemic they shut down their drive through 2nd lane pickup. They kept saying they would open it up soon but never did. They lied to us about more than one thing. My wife and I got a prescription form our doctor for a Shingrix (Shingles) shot. We went online to look for a pharmacy that gave this shot. The closes one to our house was a seventeen minute drive form our home (WALGREENS RETAIL PHARMACY 6851 TEMIE LEE PKWY MIDLOTHIAN, VA 23112) . Their website said they have the shot with that vaccine but the only appointments were between 1 am and 7:50 am. We make our appointments for an early Tuesday morning when the grandkids did not have school. We got four emails back reminding us of our appointments. We woke up the two year twin old grandkids early and rushed to make our appointment only to be met by a not so courteous pharmacist. She past us on to a sales clerk who preceded to tell us that they did not have the vaccine for our shot and have not had it for quite some time. They also she told us that they never look at their online appointments and that they have a list of 300 people waiting for the shot; you can be added to the list. She then told us that the other stores tore up their list and gave service by a first come basis when a supply of the vaccine comes in. Needless to say I was upset. At Walgreens at 10:30 at night trying to get a prescription filled after visiting the two closets CVS pharmacy. Plus number 1, getting a compound made and the lady tells me only 10 - 15 minutes and this was after both CVS locations told me close to an hour...not because of crowd because it takes that long to mix. Second plus, CVS wanted to charge me $20 while Walgreens only charged me $5. I need a reminder every now and then as to why I won't go to the CVS locations around here to a prescription filled. read more

The woman at the cash register knew what she was doing and was very helpful. The young woman Elizabeth certainly destroyed any faith I had in the store. Went there for a few items and a FedEx pickup. Elizabeth was slow to get to the counter . Slow in getting my package and slow in scanning the package. A 10 minute job took more than twentyfive , only to find out that she also needed the tracking number. The one on the package was not good enough. If management is training people like that , I will transfer my prescriptions elsewhere along with my business. It was a nice location easy access in and out. Staffing seems to be lacking and some employees are lackadaisical about customers or customer care. She was more into talking to her new coworker about some guy. not a good way to keep customers. 5 stars for the short haired elder woman at the cash register . The wait for help ,attitude , having to stop their social time for help soured the experience. read more
