She goes try another pump I go aren't you gonna fix it? She goes. We already opened a ticket so I left. I thought what a way to talk to somebody and I went out to try another pump none of the pumps work so I went to Sheets and was able to fill up my car. Do you wonder how they hire these people? First he curtly asked us to move our car... dude, it's broken down, we had to push it in the parking lot. While there I bought lunch... chips and Carolina bbq sandwich with slaw. Then we asked to use the facilities, he wouldn't let us even though we bought hot food here. He said he'd get fined... what? Who in this little roadside country store is going to fine him? We stopped by this location on an extremely hot and humid day for a quick Slurpee on our way to visiting the State Capitol. As we stepped inside, I was immediately in awe of how nice, clean, decent, and organized this 7-Eleven is in comparison to all the other ones I have visited in northern Virginia and DC. No sketchy vibes at all. The interior of the store was big and brightly lit, and all the items in display were very orderly. Rarely do you find the Slurpee area of a 7-Eleven store without trash laying around and Slurpee dripping all over, but here at 1001 E. Main Street, it was spotless! The only minor complaint that I have is of the lady at the cash register, who was a bit unfriendly and grumpy. Perhaps she was just having a bad day, but overall, this 7-Eleven is great!
