Got to the drive through at 615 (pharmacy is open until 8) and the gate was down on the window, however the automated voice said "we'll be right with you." Sat there for 15 minutes with no acknowledgment and plenty of cars behind me. Finally gave up, went inside and got my prescriptions. I asked the kid who rang me up why they had the drive through closed an hour and a half before closing with no note on the window or any indication that they weren't servicing customers through the drive through. Response: "we only have two people here." That doesn't explain why they can't put a note in the window saying drive through is closed and doesn't assist disabled customers who utilize the drive through rather than deal with going inside. As someone who works in healthcare, I get that we're all overworked and underpaid but going against company policy and closing a service without giving some indication that people will need to go inside is both inconsiderate and irresponsible. While I doubt this review will cause any change or result in a response from management, one can only hope they get their act together. read more

I get so frustrated with CVS, a pharmacy that I am forced to use because it is dictated by my health insurance. We have a family member on a controlled substance, which can create an understandable delay in monthly prescription fulfillment. However, no matter what I do to facilitate the filling of this prescription, including multiple calls between the pharmacy and the doctor's office starting as soon as the prescription can be refilled, there is a problem. Every month. These snafus have left us in gaps without medication. On the other hand, the robo calls from CVS for prescriptions that can be--and purposely haven't been--put on auto refill are incessant. Multiple calls a day, incessant. And these prescriptions are filled even when asked not to be. This has resulted in accidental pick-ups of prescriptions that are no longer being used (and of course could not be returned). (The fault for picking up unnecessary prescriptions is ours, of course, for not checking/miscommunication between family members/etc., but it is beyond frustrating when I have requested prescriptions to be cancelled or not automatically refilled.) I'm going to try using another location, but I think the flaws like the robocalling and pushing auto refills are company-wide. This location worked for us because it is located close to one of our work locations and is not in a strip mall, making it easy to access at rush hour, but there has to be a location that is somewhat better. And there is a pharmacist who is rude and unpleasant when picking up the afore mentioned controlled medication. Like I said, I understand the requisite control and protocol, but the politesse and customer service is lacking. I am just so fed up with constant hassle that has very real effects because of delay in medication fulfillment, regardless of my efforts and the efforts of our doctor's office to facilitate the transaction. read more

My last prescription I picked up had SOMEONE ELSE'S ADDERALL IN THE BAG! SERIOUSLY! Just find another pharmacy people! This place is a wreck! I have been going here for over a decade because of how close it is. They now have the drive thru closed 99% of the time so you have to go inside and wait in line that is about 15 people deep. The techs are so rude and they're out of medication about 50% of the time and don't tell you until the day you need it, even when you have it set on auto fill. So I transferred everything out of there today and don't care that I have to drive out of my way to do it. Do better CVS! read more

Yes , I almost hesitate to writer his review . I must , however , give kudos to this CVS . I usually have my prescriptions filled at a different pharmacy but today my usual CVS told me they were out of stock till Monday . That has happened before but usually I receive a notice . i called in my prescription and nobody said it would be delayed for 2 days. This medication is one I take every day and I usually check ahead , but did not this time . Anyway , the pharmacist did tell me that 2 other CVS pharmacies located close to me had the medication in stock I did call and the Genito pharmacy did renew my transferred prescription , and with a minimum of confusion . I am very pleased with the pharmacist at Genito who filled the prescription and added an apology for sone delay . I did use the drive through , and it was very easy to use . Thank you . The pharmacy at this CVS location (the purpose of the store) did a terribly poor job today. The drive through was closed (with no sign to alert anyone) and had the metal gate pulled down at the window. The issue is we had scheduled and confirmed two PCR COVID tests that we were on time for. The fairly rude lady on the inside eventually responded and in her own clunky, awkward way, started to check us in for the appt. Then came 15 minutes of silence from their part. All the while cars pulled up behind us, waited, and eventually gave us and left. We were eventually made aware that they did still know we were here and went through unknown issues ever getting check-in and eventually got our tests which took about 60-seconds to take and put samples in the metal box for Quest Labs. We sat at the drive through long enough to turn the car off, all the while other cars continued to pull up, wait all too long, and drive away - frustrated themselves I'm sure. We were at the drive through for 40 minutes total with no acknowledgement of this inconvenience or friendliness of any kind from the inside. They never lifted the metal gate though at one point their foolishly raised it a few inches and attempted to demonstrate the test from the narrow shadows of the inside. Fortunately we had done this all before and the inability to see whatever the person was doing wasn't a big loss. This pharmacy location today showed no care or concern for customers. Their ofd ways and "gate keeping" to what we needed seemed to me that they were focused on themselves and without thought for letting customers know the drive through was closed in the first place, and barely seemed to offer a service for those of us with appointments. Fortunately this isn't our usual CVS l pharmacy ocation. I have however been i side different time and had very nice service from the staff in the retail area. read more

These folks truly have about the worse customer service I've ever experienced in a pharmacy. Beyond slow, they are unpleasant, constantly seemingly overwhelmed. I am speaking specifically of the pharmacy staff. Truly needs an overhaul of training and processes or they will (should!) be out of business... unless we continue to put up with mediocrity. I have slowly switched my services to Walgreens and even the simple things like calling to let you know a Rx is ready, simply do not happen. This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I have ever utilized. They are ALWAYS so disorganized, filled prescription bags stacked all over a counter. I don't know how they keep it straight. The prescription is never ready when they say it will be. "Give us 30 minutes" is the standard reply. The drive-through is closed often for no apparent reason. I must use CVS due to TriCare for Life having a contract with them, however, even though this location is most convenient, I will need to transfer my prescriptions to another location and hope they are better. read more

This location is extremely frustrating. I've been ignoted more than once at the outer drive thru lane. They used to multitask and get both lanes going. Recently they only work one at a time and i have been told even though I am at the 2nd lane and ready, they are going to go through multiple cars in the window lane because they were there first, even when they weren't there before me. Like others have said, they don't have your prescription ready many times. I have had to come back two days in a row due to items not being ready. They have lost my business due to the above issues and attitude I have received regarding the drive thru issues. I will never use this location again, not when the Mosely location is so awesome. Last week I went to pick up my son's prescription and after waiting for 30 minutes to get it I get home and realize that they didn't mix his medication. I had to drive back up wait another 20 minutes to be helped then wait 15 minutes just for them to mix his prescription. read more

Horrible pharmacy...long lines are the norm and lack of customer service. There are two pharmacy profiles for my mother that result in problems with refills. Have contacted CVS customer service repeatedly about this and am always told that the profiles have to be merged by the pharmacy itself. Have requested repeatedly in person at the pharmacy that this be done. All I get is a shrug from the pharmacy salesperson and it's not been done over the past year. My mother had some refills due in March but I didn't realize she was running low until late April. Called the pharmacy refill line as was told the refills are due 3/23/2023 (remember this now end of April) and do I want to refill earlier? Why didn't they automatically refill them in March???? I cannot handle her prescriptions on line as the profile I can access states that she has NO prescriptions. This has all been a total fiasco and I plan to move all her prescriptions to another pharmacy ASAP. read more

Been waiting in line for 45 minutes for a prescription. I understand it's a lot to do but it is a long time to wait.

It is possible that the issue los lack of sufficient staff, but getting a prescription filled at this location never goes well. It can take days to get something. They have messed up insurance billing for me multiple times, and they are just unhelpful. Recently we needed a prescription filled urgently. We called the automated system for hours until we finally heard the prescription was ready to be picked up. By then it was late in the evening. I arrived for pick-up and was told the prescription had not been filled because the medication was out of stock. The pharmacist just shrugged and walked away without offering any help. When I asked for help, she found a CVS about an hour away, and could not guarantee that they would have the medication ready for pick up when I arrived. I ended up finding a 24 hour Walgreens that was willing to fill the prescription immediately. When I arrived at the Walgreens, I could not pick up the prescription because CVS had already billed my insurance company even though they had not given me any medication at all. The prescription was over $1500. The pharmacist at Walgreens was incredibly helpful and gave me a single dose of the medication so we could at least have a day to get things sorted. I am still trying to straighten this out. Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else. This particular CVS is dangerous. read more

Every time my mother goes and picks up her medications, they tell her we don't have it ready, or we don't have everything in stock. Half the time it's her insulin. She calls them in the morning and asks them if everything is ready to pick up and they always say yes, and every time she goes everything is not ready. They have younger pharmacy workers that give us a attitude and don't know what they are doing. read more

TERRIBLE! My child's pediatrician placed a prescription order in 3 days ago. We were first told it would be ready in 20 minutes so we waited in the parking lot and came back, well past that time because I lost track of time scrolling through apps on my phone and my daughter had fallen asleep in the back seat. I was told that they didn't have the medicine available, but they'd have it ready by 6pm the next day. The next day came and I checked the status via the phone and they're "still working on it". Day 3 now and they're "still working on it". Also, the automated system states it's a refill? We never received her medicine to begin with so why is it saying it's a refill? Maybe it's just a computerized system error? If not, does this mean they gave my child's prescription to someone else??? Either way, my child has a 2 week check up to see how the medicine has effected what she's dealing with, and if we never get her frigging medicine, my child won't be able to get rid of the issue she is dealing with!! This location is TERRIBLE and I can see why the ratings are so low! I wish I'd thought to look it up before I requested my child's prescription be sent here! read more
