The pharmacy hours are not the same as the store hours…read more Monday through Friday: 9 AM to 7 PM. Saturday: 10 AM to 6 PM Sunday: 11 AM to 5 PM. Well finally! I managed to link my Extracare account with my main CVS account! CVS without the extra care program is nearly useless. You get some coupons every time you fill your prescription, but that is a very limited reward program. However, once you link it to extra care, CVS becomes much more interesting. All the extra care sales come to play and you get a coupon which stacks on top of the sale. As far as I can tell all the prices in the store have been adjusted for the dollar coupon you receive every time at the pharmacy. Which makes every item in the store more expensive than their rivals. But once you add the coupon to whatever extra care specials are available, the prices become much more attractive. However, their inventory is still pretty limited compared to a big box store. It seems to me that your best bet is the coupon play. Generally, this means you're picking off a few items where the coupons, the loyalty program, and the specials all stack. I noticed the specials sell out quickly. so the specials are even more limited than you can imagine. Well, with the reward program, they've enticed me into buying one item per trip. If it sounds like I'm not enthused, you're right. At the present time I feel no need to go to CVS unless I have a prescription I wanna pick up. Pharmacy hours are not the same as the store hours. The pharmacy is still a five star experience. The store has risen from a zero star experience all the way to a two star experience.

Recently the CVS Pharmacy we have used closed. All accounts were transferred to this location on…read moreAdmiral Callaghan. My first experience with them was absolutely horrible. After a routine doctors appointment my medication's were sent to this pharmacy. Keep in mind, these are medications I must take daily. One day prior to refill. I called to confirm the medication is in stock and was assured that I could be picked up the following day. The following day, I called again because I did not get a text message like I typically do when meds are ready for pick up. I was informed they had no record of refill from my doctor. I called the doctor and let them know and the prescription was resent. It's now Friday morning and I'm wondering when I will be able to pick up my meds. I call again and leave a voice message. A clerk calls me back to tell me my meds cannot be filled because the doctor is not registered or licensed. I promptly call and wait to speak with a pharmacist and explain ~ "this can't be the case". They resend a request for a new prescription. I called the doctor's office and it looks like everything's going to be cleared up. We are three hours from CVS closing and I'm trying to follow up... "When I can pick up the meds?" I call again and speak to a clerk. I am told they are out of stock. I can't even believe this is happening. We're going into a weekend and I have to wait till Monday??? This is not possible. They tell me they will transfer the prescription to another pharmacy in another city. I call the pharmacist of that CVS location and they tell me the system will not allow the transfer. Fast forward to Monday. It's 6:40 PM... I'm finally picking up my prescription ~ now 4 days late & they close at 7PM.. Ironically, the lady in front of me was picking up depression, meds, and the same thing happened to her AT THE PICK-UP COUNTER! They told her they did not have time to run payment through insurance so she would have to come back the following day. Lastly, there were 9 people still in line that were told to come back the following day because, " WE ARE NOW CLOSING" Something is seriously wrong with this pharmacy. Aside from pharmacist Kaley, the front staff was uncommonly RUDE. I will TRANSFER my meds to another pharmacy ~ NOT CVS BRAND! WHAT CAN CVS DO BETTER? Corporate should look into AI for medication fulfillment. I'm not one for technology to override employment of humans, but obviously CVS is struggling and doesn't have the ability to hire sufficient and trained staff. Bring in good pharmacist for QC and let AI do the rest. When possible, run deliveries through the mail.

I came to shop in store on a Saturday morning. It's definitely different when you shop for yourself rather than relying on their employees to shop for you. I probably should shop in person more often because you get to browse what's actually available and find what you need. I've been searching for specific items for a while and finally found bloom pop winter pomberry, and wide leg pants in my size (the pants were in disarray. I was patient enough to go through it) plus I found some clearance hidden gems. There is so much clearance, I love it. It was a great shopping day! I was also able to check out their party section, and their aisles are very organized. Good to know they still sell piñatas. Best times to go are early mornings, less crowds!

Both encounters were unprofessional and quite frankly disgusting. I went in on April 29th to purchase quite a few items and I typically go to self check out, but because I had so much, I decided to go into a lane. There was a Caucasian lady who was helping me and the conversation started off ok we got on the topic of Disney movies since I had a few Disney themed items for my kids. Then she very comfortably stated how much she didn't like the recent little mermaid movie due to her being black! I could not believe how comfortable she was saying this to me and in a manner in which she wanted me to agree with her. To say the least it not only made me uncomfortable but if you have such an opinion like THAT keep it to yourself. I'm an African American Irish American female and I was very upset. Fast forward to today I stupidly took my chances again to buy my kids swimsuits and I went to self check out and I also was purchasing a backpack. I asked the lady who was overseeing everything if she could take the sensor off and she very nastily and rudely told me after I pay for it. The whole time I'm scanning every item and paying with my hard earned money like I always do! As much money as I've spent at this particular this store over the years I will not be back. Wal mart employees should keep their racism and prejudice to themselves. It has no place in customer service.

The staff in general cares when asking "How are you?"--My answer always being honest, even when barely making it. I genuinely look forward to making more than small talk with the pharmac-techs AND pharmacists (--like Gloria!). I've always loved her demeanor honestly...She LEGIT makes me "know" she DOES feel bad when my family's insurance is taking longer than THEY should to approve a prescription refill or if the location is out of stock. Between peoples' insurances being extremely strict (sometimes it's valid reasons; most times it's not) on WHEN they decide to get around to said approval, and the pharmaceutical warehouses being conveniently "lacking" in supply on ONLY controlled medications (like Concerta), I could NEVER aspire to be a pharmacy tech even...Pretty sure ANYone (competent or no) get more flak than the bare minimum allegedly "deserved", being in a position of keeping human society in mental check. I ALways make sure my "extended family" know at least I acknowledge what they must go through. Being that I've heard OF entitled jerks via "r/slash" on YouTube, and knowing employees "have" to deal with verbal abuse from random customer, legitimately makes me WANT to tell someone like that off...Just like I did with my younger sister's elementary school bully to basically keep in line or I'd MAKE him, I'll be willing to fight for my extended family too... Too Long; Didn't Read?:...Then actually READ it. And the photo is my impression on the care taken by whomever stocks the chocolate chips near said pharmacy area Glorious!
