Every single item is locked up -- socks, underwear, towels, the whole store. You cannot shop here without getting help to get items and there is no one available to assist. The store is inside a mall and you have to walk though the dirty mall areas to enter and exit the store. The parking is cramped. The store inside does not look like a typical Walmart, there are vendors in the store selling photographs and other non-Walmart items, we were approached by people who didn't work for Walmart and were trying to sell things. We tried to find a manager and no one was available. Not able to get any clerk assistance and items are not on the shelves. Hardly any product because it's s small store. read more

I never leave reviews but today I just had to. The employees are rude they can't even say " excuse me" plus other employees just huddled up in an aisle Talking and in the way. Walmart is located on Saviers Rd at the Centerpoint mall. I come here since I usually drive this way going or coming from the gym. I go here early in the mornings since it's less crowded & kids are at school. It's convenient for me when I only need a few things & don't need to make a trip to a whole sale club. I like to stroll through their clearance aisle just to see what's on clearance. They have a good selection of seasonal items. They pretty much have everything here like: clothes, food (refrigerated & frozen as well), drinks, toys, office supplies, party supplies, home goods, electronics, etc. & a Pharmacy. The prices are affordable here but may not have the specific brand you want... If you want more, there's a Super Walmart on Rose Ave. but, it does get quite busy over there. Check the Walmart app to see if they carry an item you're looking for. It's convenient that it lets you know if they have a certain item in stock at the store or at another Walmart nearby... It's a bit sketchy here especially at night, there's either older kids that hang around the parking lot or suspicious people that make it look uninviting. If I really have to go here during the evenings, I'll wait till after peak times & I won't go alone. read more

This walmart is very convenient to me when i need to go in and out real quick for something i need. I dont like the fact that there are too many hoodlums , or homeless tweaker people around. Everytime you walk to walmart in this location, there will always be someone you know which is funny to me. It sucks that some people ruin it for others by opening items or stealing. I wouldnt bring my family in here specially walk through the urine smell or cigarrette outside in the hallway entering the mall area to get inside the walmart. When ever i go it's alway just me. Ive seen too many incidents before that make me think twice about bringing the kids. Its a love and hate relationship with this location lol I dont like when people ask for money entering or exiting the walmart. Service is okay. I purchased a "Vitamix Stainless Steel Container 48 oz" from Walmart.com for $114.45 on 3/12/2024 and told it would be delivered 3/19/2024. I was told it arrived 3/28/2024. I informed Walmart that I did not get it and asked if I could see the photo of delivery, as they suggest on the website if one does not get the item. I was then told it was delivered to the wrong address and was asked if I want a refund or the item resent. I said I want the item. I was then told the vendor had problems and is no longer a vendor. I saw the same exact item description and photo on Walmart.com for $199.95 fulfilled by Walmart and asked to have that one instead and not get a refund. Walmart refused and said they would issue a refund. I informed them that we have a contract, and they are legally responsible for breach of contract including the cost of the delay, all the time I have had to spend... but I'm willing to settle if they just send me the "Vitamix Stainless Steel Container" as agreed. Walmart put on a supervisor, who also refused, and hung up on me, so I purchased it directly from Vitamix who gave me free shipping and $25 off. Someone will eventually sue Walmart in a class action for such behavior and it will be costly. I would think Walmart would simply fulfill their contracts. I have had similar experiences with huge businesses like Citibank, which lost the huge class action lawsuit I warned them about and ended up giving me what I asked for as well as spending I don't know how many millions of dollars, and a big construction company which could have settled by sending someone over to paint my cabinets that turned yellow, or by giving me a few hundred dollars to have someone do that, but instead told me I to go ahead and hire a lawyer, which I did, and they settled for $1.7 million dollars. When will these businesses learn how important it is to deliver as promised and to value customer service?! read more

There isn't a lot going on around this Walmart it so it's a pretty busy store. They have all your typical Walmart offerings, some limited fresh produce, frozen foods, personal care items, clothing, sports gear, personal and home electronics, baby supplies, craft things, pet supplies, car care, kid's toys, etc. Parking lot is a little hard to navigate so I'd recommend parking in the back. The store is clean, pretty well stocked and generally tidy. Employees I met seemed professional and polite. read more

This is a smaller Walmart. It's not my favorite, but it can suffice if they have what you need. It's situated at the end of a mall, and you have to actually first enter the mall to get access to the Walmart. They have limited selection due to the size of the store, so don't expect to be able find everything you want there. However, they do carry a lot of the typical Walmart stuff and the prices are the same as in all other Walmart stores. read more

Customer service is horrible & especially the area for batteries on cars or any lockups there. There were a total of 5 customers all needed assistance in the lockups. The key holder would help one person takes his battery & not give him in update im where his battery is going & doesn't tell us I'll be right with you. The first customer left in the stereos so lost a sale there. The other 3 we're getting inpatient. This holidays are here & if this is the customer service & when you ask questions only thing you get is I know and a smile and again o know. If that persons knows so much then why not answer with a better response. They don't know to manage loss prevention and will treat everyone like a thief instead. I wanted something in a case and they insisted on walking me to the cash register while they held the products. When I complained to the manager, he said that was the proper protocol. I asked him why anyone would go through all that when you can just order the item for a dollar more on Amazon. I also pointed out that drug stores will just hand you the item after taking it out of the case. I told him he was driving away the customers that don't steal by embarrassing them like this. He said he had checked the numbers and even if less people shop at the store, he still saves money by reducing theft. This location is small and is lacking on the selection. Everything is crammed into a small building. The self checkout is your only option since they never have cashiers working the tills. If you shop at this location, specially the jewelry department make sure you look at the price given and the price charged in your receipt. I bought a jewelry item full price and was charged $40 more than full price, by one of the managers even. On may 02 2020 I had my truck and 2018 fifthwhieel rv trailer towed from malibu ca to Oxnard by good Sam's roadside assist.i was informed it could not be taken to dealership for it was to late in day. And had to parked somewhere where good Sam's could get a verbal ok.they I suggested Walmart. Good Sam said they had to get verbal ok and then would call me back.ok everything's fine tows on.after waiting hrs for tow.they sent a truck incapable of towing my rig together do driver suggested to unhook and called for second truck. Which by the way took at least 3 hrs to arrive. I choose to wait for second tow. And upon arrival at walmari notice my truck was left in a position where it was unable to be reattached to trailer. I instantly called for a truck to come back and move my truck and reattach them. It's now 7am Monday while talking to good sams and getting confirmation that a truck would do just that.. security for Walmart and center point mall arrive and informs me.this is private property and my vehicle s have to be moved..thats when I informed them good Sam had gotten verbal ok. But that I had a truck coming to reattach them but I would call good Sam again and request to have them moved again . The security also called and explained the situation which in return he got confirmation on them sending tow trucks to move them. Both I and security spoke with g.sams thru our the day.only to be advise it's been dispatched. Come afternoon here comes Oxnard finest. for a total of eight officers security for Walmart to inform me their impounding my stuff for the reason I've never been told. They give me a shopping cart and tell me to get my animals and anything else I want out.which one do I prefer they take first. I say truck.off it goes.to impound which is not what I was told. And didn't find out till the next day when they arrived to take my rv trailer and asked where it was going and I said with the truck. They go together just like when they picked it up. That's when the tow driver say my yard. My response was unmentionable as I said you impounded it .knowing I didn't have the resources to retrieve them. And I was waiting on good Sam to show up. I explained I'm single 60 yr old female with 2dogs and 2cats your putting out on the street in the middle of a state covid shelter in place. And your putting I. The middle of it. Nothing's but good luck. From all except the officer that lead himself on a inside tour of the rv and then approached me with a helping hand. Saying i he could help me out getting my truck out if I only signed over the title to my rv to him. I said why .there's nothing wrong with it . It's the truck needing a starter and I just paid 40000 for it. It's not for sale. When he says you should since your gonna lose it anyway.. Icome to think of it. I honestly will go out of my way to go to this Walmart for one specific gem; Arnetta. She is fun, she's got such a warm personality and is always so helpful. I always come and have her cut the fabric I need. (I make them into bandanas since I groom dogs) I'm always so happy and relieved to see her when I go into the store. I sometimes get social anxiety and it's always nice to see her familiar kind face when I'm looking for help. She honestly makes going out of my way totally worth it. I use to love shopping at Walmart stores. However their has been a serious decline in the quality of their products. I still enjoy shopping at the store however I went to return an item. Store policy specifics that you can have 3 return with or without a receipt in 90 days. That is a lie I went an item and that refused to honor the policy written off their sign that stated that policy had changed I asked to show me the new policy and was told that did not have to provide it to me. So what Walmart isn't crazy? This one isn't too bad but it doesn't have the full grocery store either. Other than that it's your typical Walmart where you have to ask yourself, "is the savings worth the hassle?" For me, most of the time the answer is yes. I always make sure I know what I'm getting before I walk in the store and I park on the side closest to C street, which is always a lot easier. Add to that the 4 convenient self check out lanes (of which at least 2 are usually functioning) and I can be in and out in 5 minutes when I'm on my game. Final Word If you need to pick up something cheap consider dropping by here. If your brave enough to venture to the hectic side of the parking lot there a boba spot, subway, yogurt place and a Popeye's. Plus a Wells Fargo if you need to make a quick deposit. read more
