I do really hope the customer service and cashier friendliness has improved since my last review but I can't speak to that yet. The reason I am jumping back on here and leaving an updated review is due to having a better experience shopping solo and feeling much more impressed with their price point and selection. Being able to shop here while the store was on the emptier side was a real treat. The isles were easy to navigate and every shelf was well stocked. Very clean and easy to find all of the items I was looking for. I was very impressed with the selections today throughout the store. Found even some local goods - like specialty seasoning salt from Santa Maria which was exciting. Checking out at the self-help registers were a breeze. I didn't purchase very much so it was a quick in and out and no hassle. Happy that there were a lot of deals and specials today. Will be back.

Came into the store and overall I was impressed with their selection and inventory. The departments that were lacking a little were the purses and shoes but all of my other favorite areas were well stocked - like clothing, jewelry, hygiene and home goods. The stores cleanliness was about a 4/5. More so the issue is people don't put items back so it can get a little clutter and messy in areas but still overall a pretty clean store. I was impressed with their fitting rooms. Clean and spacious stalls. The lady running that fitting room area was super nice. Great customer service here. 5 stars in customer service actually! Every staff member I interacted with was super lovely. Also I can't tell you how grateful I was that on this busy day they had at least 5 registers open. Loved this! My local stores rarely have more then 2-3 registers, even when a line wraps, so with long lines here everyone seemed content with how many staff they had working and that they kept the line moving. The gentleman working the register was super nice and sweet. This is a great store that I won't be soon forgetting.

Sometimes though I go too late and the chicken is a little dry. It's a gamble I'm willing to take though because it is that good. Also you can't beat the prices, crazy cheap. I walked out with three pieces of fried chicken for $3.50 I really don't know how you can beat that when one piece of fried chicken at a chain fast food joint is that price. The grocery store itself is small but has a good variety of items. A nice meat counter and on the other side are desserts and pastries. I stay away from that side so I won't be even more tempted but they have some great ready to eat items here. Staff are always nice and friendly. I'm usually able to get in and out of here fairly quickly. It's a quiet town and usually isn't too busy inside when I stop in on a weekday. Ten dollars is the price for Fridays, $8 on Saturdays, $5 on Sundays, $4 on Mondays and so on until you get to products that are worth $1 on Thursdays. New items are brought in on Fridays, a variety of items from games to photo frames to vitamins and supplements, steamers, calendars, knick knacks, and more. I've encountered items that I had no idea what it was and also found myself holding an x-rated item after I read the description to figure out what it was. . So yeah, they have loads of items and half the fun is just figuring out what you're looking at. Items behind the display case behind the cashier are more expensive as are the pictures on the wall. No "bin" really has any particular order to it. You'll have to dig through stuff here. You might want to bring gloves, but it's not really dirty so much as finding your way through a treasure trove of items. Some products I found online and compared to the price online doesn't seem like a great deal, but I have found and bought some random objects that were very useful on a day when the price is low. If you're curious, like a good deal, and don't mind burrowing into who knows what in items, then you should check this place out!
