Extremely disappointed in my shopping experience here at this particular Walmart Location. After dropping my son off at Camp we realized we left a few items so we came by this location to pick them up. We noticed a Charcoal Grill in the aisles for a good price and decided to also purchase it. We did the check out right beside the customer service lady Heather who watched us keenly even though there were several other people at the check out area we are the only ones she watched keenly. We changed our mind on purchasing one item and gave it to Heather and asked her to remove it. She the. Proceeds to tell us we did not scan the Grill and ignored what we called her for. We had 8 items and the bill was already at $240. She kept insisting that we were stealing and thoroughly went over every item. Once she noticed she was wrong, NO Apology, no acknowledgement that she was wrong. It was extremely embarrassing and hurtful that because we were the only people of color she assumed we would be stealing. When I asked for the manager to express how hurt we felt. Heather starts crying to Kathleen. All of a sudden she is the victim, adding insult to injury. 2025 and racism is still so blatant and common. read more

I really like this Walmart. It is clean, organized, and the staff are decent. People that give it a bad review have never been to a Walmart in say Springfield or Chicopee, Massachusetts. This Walmart is like a luxury store compared to those two shit hole stores. They have a neat, and well stocked toy aisle, and fishing aisle. The grocery department is very limited. It's a smaller Walmart compared to others, but has everything we need while on vacation. read more

This is perhaps the worst run Walmart in the area. They are lucky that there is nowhere else in the area to shop. Locking the back doors early, pharmacy refuses to assist you if you get there too close to closing. The pharmacist tonight was just the most miserable person I have ever dealt with. I drove 20 minutes out of my way to come here after an associate incorrectly informed me that as long as I have a valid ID, I could make a Money Gram, even if I am under 18. After going to the customer service desk, Roger, who is supposedly a manager, said that I was incorrectly informed and they can't do anything about it and laughed when I asked for some sort of compensation for me being misinformed and wasting an hour of my time. Terrible service, and manipulation and discrimination against young people. This place needs to change. read more

if i could give 0 starts i would. probably the worst walmart in ct. i went in to buy a tv and the employee couldn't get the security wire off, and sent us to the customer service so they could do it for me, no biggie. the customer service lady, lorraine, can't read a receipt and had to call and get a description of me and what i'm wearing. as if i didn't buy it 30 seconds prior, the employees made it known that they aren't trained on how to take them off. awful customer service and clearly bad managers read more

I used to like this Walmart.Now they are constantly out of items in the vitamin and health products.They do not restock when needed. They rarely have a cashier at both ends of the store as they used to.Therefore the line for the one cashier is long as many of us do not want to do "self check".This is the reason I do not go to certain grocery stores. If you need help there is no one to ask.In Target and Big Y this is not a problem. read more

The staff here is so kind. One staff member went out of his day to get dog food bags down from a high shelf. Last night I lost my phone- the customer service clerk sent 2 members to help me look- and one staff member found it. They restock well. It's my favorite Walmart. read more

Made my first purchase with using Walmart.com recently. Was not advised I was purchasing something from a third party and not Walmart. Was not informed about return shipping fees or restocking fees. The return instructions simply stated return to the store in original packing. I have now been charged 40% of the original purchase price to return the items to a Walmart store. Far cry from Amazon, they would never treat a customer like this. Will never purchase another thing from Walmart on line, worst customer service experience ever. read more

I come from NYC to visit this town and decided to shop with my 6-month old boy at a nearby Walmart. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. This branch is not that big and they're not selling a lot but the prices are way cheaper than any baby store. Overall, my shopping experience was a good one. read more

This is a review of the customer service manager and the receipt confirmation policy. Customers and store employees are doing their best to adhere to new rules during the pandemic. I avoid carriages to avoid additional germs and make less work for employees and I try to use self check out so employees can be free to help those who need assistance. What I don't need is when my hands are full not more than 10 feet from the self check out to be asked for a receipt. Customer service manager saw me walk from the register with my hands full and asked for my receipt, knowing I would have to put my stuff down on questionable surfaces to get the receipt out for him. He also had let several customers through right before me without checking receipts. I gave him my receipt as requested but also explained how displeased I was and how putting my items in sanitary or unsanitary surfaces defeats the purposes of their new sanitary programs, I was met with a patronizing "have a nice day." This csm is rude and this is unacceptable. read more

This is one of the Worst Walmart stores I've ever been in. 80% of the time I can't Get what I'm looking for. The clothing section is pathetic as they have only a small fraction of what other stores have. The plus size section is the largest one of the clothing section for some reason. You can't get a lot of the products you're looking for because of the lack of shelf space in this store. There are only a few isles of groceries, a very small refrigerator section and no frozen food at all. It's very frustrating to make the trip here only to have to go to another store afterward to get what you need. When time permits I drive 25 minutes further to go to a Walmart super center where I can get everything I need including groceries. This store is only good when you have no time for anything else and are willing to buy whatever they happen to have on the shelf. It's too bad because this area has no other big box stores to choose from. read more

A smaller-than-usual Walmart, this store suffers from lousy selection. Can never find what we really want and most merchandise is pure junk. Best advice is to look a little harder and/or drive a little farther to a specialty shop to get exactly what you need. read more
