I went to Walmart tire center and I was told they weren't taking anymore walk-in by John, who has poor customer service skills. I was asking him questions about tires. He looks so uninterested in what I was saying he was just dry. I told him I don't know anything about tires and I was trying to show him tires online and ask do they have many of the tires that I was looking for in stock. He couldn't tell me that he made me feel like he just didn't have the time and energy to speak with me and brushed me off. Then a young man by the name of Robert finished with his customer, and I went to him and asked him about the tires. He went out the way to take me outside so he can look at my tires and advise me because I was going to go somewhere else and buy me two tires But since he was so polite, I told him if he's working tomorrow that I will come back Robert was really nice so if you go to the store, do not deal with John just ask for Robert if you want to be treated nicely. Walmart is maddening. There are always so many zombies meandering around the store, leaving carts in the middle of the aisle or wandering in front of you in the catatonic state. The aisles are so narrow & congested. We have been lookin for an air fryer but have very limited counter space. After searching for & buying a couple of air fryers then returning them because of required operating clearances around the air fryer we ended up finding the Ninja Air Fryer, but not just any Ninja Air Fryer. This particular model is a sleek low counter air fryer that isn't bulky. After it cools down it can be folded up against the wall freeing up much needed counter space. We found this air fryer after searching & buying 2 other air fryers that were either too large or we didn't have the required clearances for safe operation of the air fryer. We found our perfect model "The Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fryer Oven, Air Fryer, Convection Oven & Toaster all for $169.99. We found the exact same model @ Target for $229.99. So even if Walmart can be a pain to shop at the savings can be huge. 5 Stars for the "Ninja Foodi Air Fryer" If you haven't been to a Walmart's recently they have gone fully self checkout @ the checkout line w/ a few people to help direct the flow of people & help a handful of people that can't grasp the concept of scanning & checking out. While in the area after leaving my job I stopped in to see what hospital scrubs this location had available. The one thing that I always notice about Walmart locations is the overflow of customers. There was no exception to this place as well which resulted in me parking far across the lot because of the number of customers. Masks are required for individuals who are not vaccinated, but who's checking on that? There certainly is not someone at the door that's calling out individuals not wearing a mask or requesting to view vaccination cards. I ended up purchasing a pair of women's scrub bottoms by Scrubstar, and two women's beyondsoft waffle thermal long-sleeved tops by Fruit of the Loom. In my opinion, Scrubstar is a very underrated brand in comparison to some of the hideous brands of scrubs I have encountered while shopping at places. The men's section had these performance base layer long-sleeved shirts that were stellar, but the price was unbearable. Now the women's section had a number of thermal tops than the men's plus multiple colors. The two women's beyondsoft waffle thermal long-sleeved tops combined cost less than one of the men's performance base layer long-sleeved shirts. Other than the hospital scrubs, and long-sleeved thermal tops I fell in love with some of the cute mini backpacks. If ever in need of a mini backpack preferably for hiking or biking I will have them in consideration. As for checking out, there was no interaction between me and the clerk. You know how most clerks greet you, or guide you through the process of inserting your card after scanning your items? Yep, that! Well, there was none of that, just pure silence! I could have gone through self checkout, but the self checkout lanes were overflowing with customers. Crazy because here I was with only 4 items yet I went to a lane with a clerk versus going through self checkout. I literally had no patience whatsoever going through self checkout at this location. I am glad that I stopped into this Walmart location because I found exactly what I was looking for. I would give less than one star. Never shop at a store or online at Walmart. I ordered an item that was on sale from their online store and it is a fake. Chinese writing on the outside label. This is a product made in the US, I do not understand how a major retailer would be selling fake items from China. I never shop at Walmart but they had the neck cream I use on sale. I should have known not to purchase it because it's Walmart, but when it shows up looking like a bad fake it makes you wonder how a major US retailer could have these shoddy business practices. I love Wal-Marts but lately certain stores are really taking a big step down with service & this store hardly had any stock in the health & beauty section. The staff is rude too. Not all of them but most are not nice. With prices going up I may start to make Target my go to store. Wal-mart is not such a bargain store anymore. Not unless you order on-line. There is more merchandise on line & a big selection. The store is dirty too. Not cleaned in a long time. The grocery section is good but the rest of it...they keep going up on prices & I want to have a good selection. It is obvious the managers are not checking employees if they are doing much in this store. I love to self scan & do my own checking out. But their self check out lanes always have a huge problem. The area is very small too & no room to do anything. Then if you do need help they act like they are doing a huge favor for you! For a start of the Memorial weekend the store was like a ghost town. Very empty. This store used to be very good, but now no good at all. No organization with the clothes. Just a bunch of clothes packed so tight hanging that you have to really struggle to look for your size, I will not go back to this lousy store. I prefer to go to Mount Prospect. I'd advise to never buy a product from Walmart online. We ordered a blackstone flat top griddle with an air fryer drawer. Placed the order in April kept pushing back the delivery. Finally got a delivery date for June 28 it says delivered June 26 I get a package from Walmart I check the order number it is the same as the flat top grill I open the package and WOW..... almost 700$ for a travel size clean & clear deep action cream cleanser. For a Walmart, this place is actually pretty organized and they kept the lines moving and people happy. Door staff is very friendly, other staff is hit or miss in helpfulness. Not a big deal, cause when I go to Walmart I'm usually just in and out and don't need any help from the staff. I like their selection of grocery items, compared to the Niles Walmart, this one is much bigger with more variety.  One thing I don't like however is the fresh produce.  It's always over or under ripe and barely edible There are a lot of really great and dedicated employees that only want to help. But it's disheartening to walk the store and hear employees complaining not only to each other but to supervisors on the sales floor. Also there's a glitch in the self checkout short lanes with cards. They don't always register that you have one.... Not declined... Not accepted... Just not acknowledged so you can either wait for help (long wait) or start digging out cash to insert. Go to the actual cashiers. They're good at it and can fix problems way faster. read more

Horrible!! Line is usually to the back of the store! Walmart has only had self checkouts and today they decided to have half the checkouts barricaded off for no reason. They were ready to go and the screen said "scan items to begin" or whatever they say. I asked why and the black haired lady told me "idk why don't you go figure it out yourself". Eventually enough people started complaining they opened it and we went on our way. This isn't the first time this happened and I don't know why they keep doing this. Also this Walmart is pretty in the dirty end. Toilet paper on the floor all over the store and stuff. Take this ad as you want just posting my story for when I come here. What more can be said about Walmart? Its convenient, the prices are low, plenty of inventory even during the pandemic. My only downside, and it's not even that bad, is that employees don't seem too outgoing. But once you ask them a question they are helpful and friendly. The self Service registers should have a bigger shopping bags. The most important thing is that in that difficult time everybody wearing mask and keeping the social distance in this store. The most I like - the store was not overcrowded. Closing time is not the same as it is posted on the maps in hrs of operation. It is also not the same as it is posted on their doors when you come in. I think they choose to close whenever actually. Best to go shopping in the morning and not in the evenings. Their store is pretty small, so don't expect for them to have everything. There are a few bad apples working there, but you'll catch a friendly one once in a while. It is not too bad of a store. Most chain stores will have their flaws. read more

What can I say? This is a Walmart... does anyone really have high expectations for this place? When I come here, it's literally because I am bored and will most likely be buying school supplies (teacher problems) or food. I think the one annoying thing about this place truly is that when they are stocking the shelves at night, there are TONS of workers everywhere and then there are huge boxes everywhere in the middle of the aisles and you can't get through. Most of the time, there are a ton of boxes, but the workers aren't even near them... instead, the workers are talking and screwing around together. I understand that the store is open 24 hours, but maybe they shouldn't be stocking everything at one time so people can actually walk around and shop. Also, if you are looking for something in particular, good luck finding it because the workers do not know where anything is and they do not help in the slightest. This Walmart is decently big, and crap is everywhere. It's definitely not a clean location, either. Returns are a mess here, too. There is normally only one worker in this department and it takes FOREVER. My friend had to return something here and it took so long because so many people were in line and no one came to help this one worker. Worst customer service. I have been to much cleaner and better ran Walmart locations, so I suggest going to one of those other locations unless you are not in a hurry and solely come here when you are bored and want to people-watch like me. read more

I thought I'd give Walmart a shot since I hadn't been in a couple years and my last experience there was less than great. I went in, searched the store and after a about ten minutes I thought it was time I asked for assistance. I kindly asked an associate if she wouldn't mind helping me find something that showed was in stock at this location online. She seemed attentive and I showed her my phone to verify this was In Stock. She looked at me then pointed in a direction as if it were behind me. I looked and said, there is nothing there ma'm. She said, "well- did you try purchasing it online?" I said, I would if I could but it shows here I can only purchase it in the store. She started laughing and looked at me I had to walk away because she looked and sounded like a ventriloquist dummy. I went over to Customer Service in hopes they would be able to help. I let them know I was only able to pick it up in the store, I searched around but couldn't find it. Very simply they said, "Okay." I asked, "Can I order it and pick it up?" She said, "You're here- have you looked for it?" "I did and asked for assistance by one of your employees on the floor but she wasn't very attentive" She said, "And, did you not find it?" I said, No, I've searched various departments and haven't. Can you check your system? She responded and said, "I don't know what to tell you. Sorry." I felt like I was on an episode of Superstore but this wasn't funny. I didn't have time to bother with this location's lack of care so I walked out and will definitely never return. Shoppers don't respond to texts or phone calls place through the app. This location doesn't support Walmart+ delivery orders, so it's basically all self serve. This is a thrift store. I bought a TCL TV 50" and it stopped working after two months. I approached to this location (niles, IL) and asked them why my TV turned black and what my choice was to return it...they said: "you may buy a new one and to throw the other one away"...it was amazing to hear how they implicitly recognized that what they sold was garbage. I asked to speak to the manager and his answer was the say (May 22,/2021 @ 3pm) They do not care about what you have to say or to keep you as a costumer. They recognized that whatever you buy, you eventually will throw away after few months...! that is a thrift store. they are not going to take any responsibility for any garbage they sell; however, you are most welcome to continue buying in their thrift store. You never should buy any electrical appliance, cells, or expensive products. they do not guarantee you if they will work within two months...it is a joke when they say that they will cover the first months...that is their game. Do people have really high expectations for their Walmart shopping experiences or something? It's like going to Mcdonald's and complaining their burger isn't freshly made or something. I found my experience here to be pretty much on par with most other Walmarts, but then again I don't expect any of them to have knowledgeable staff in any of the sections, be particularly well organized or have many things put in the right spots, or answer their phones ever, but this Walmart offers exactly what I need (to get in, grab the stuff I wanted, and get out). Maybe the employees are little more clueless than usual, since back home if I ask someone where something is, they drop whatever they do and lead me right to the item (and these people flat out don't know and just give me a guess)...But if you can be picky enough to hate it here, then I guess you can afford to shop elsewhere. I've come on weekend/weekday afternoons and at night, and while it is hectic, busy, with shopping carts and interesting people everywhere, and confused employees, it's honestly pretty average for Walmart, and I found what I needed pretty quickly/eventually. read more

You can easily find all the things you need and also the areas you are looking for. Walmart is one of the favorite store of many people including me, lots of people keep coming and shopping here compared to other stores around. Their employees are so friendly, nice, and decent. They all know how to assist and guide all of their customers so well. They always willing to help their customers, find the things that customers need, give a hand to those customers who has a big cart and fully loaded. They are so courteous and knowledgeable. Their location is so easy to find, so near to other well-known places around, and it is so big. They have parking lot, their place is decorated from outside to inside, and they have so great atmosphere. Such an amazing and relaxing place!
