I called a family who I know are attached to their phones looking for requests. Nobody picked up. I text them, "Nobody picks up their phones ... No Wegmans for you!" My phone then blew up! I came home with fresh pineapple, chocolate chip & double chocolate muffins, AND ultimate chocolate chip cookies. There is so much to see, the variety of products , the freshness of seafood, meat and produce ... I spent two hours making selections. I was in my happy place. The apple doesn't fall from the tree. Stopped at my parents on the way home to share my bounty ... it was childlike wonder as I opened the 3 coolers and we oohed and aahed ... priceless.

All the shelves are so dirty it's horrible my hands were so dirty after picking up a few things I had to wash them after I left I go to pick up my prescriptions & was told it would take 2 hours before they'd be done " now theses prescriptions were emailed in on the 30TH to be filled on the 4TH so they had it for 5 days to fill them". So 2-1/5 hours later we arrived at CVS I did a little shopping got some aspirin & a few other things another 15-20 minutes go by & I stand in line another 10-15 minutes so about 3 hours later I ask for my prescriptions they tell me they're still not done & I say "not in a nasty tone " I was told come in 2 hours it'll be ready someone said we got busy It'll be another 1/2 hour. I said excuse me I'm sry you got busy but I just drove 45 minutes to get here & you told me 2 hours & it's been 3 hours please do it right now & the cashier said there's other ppl in front of you waiting in a rude tone to me & then I said well I called in 3 hours ago & I was before someone who just walked in plus my doctor sent it in 5 days ago & it should've been filled first thing this morning & I shouldn't have had to call in to get it filled that's why I have my Doctor send it to you so I can have it ready & not just bring it in so I don't have to wait an hour or 2 in the store since I live 45 minutes away. The pharmacist filled it I still had to wait 20 minutes for it. Then the cashier was just plain ignorant when checking me out she had the nastiest tone in her voice. They lie about not receiving Dr.'s orders and make up a bunch of excuses when they don't have your script or don't have inventory for refills that they have 30 days to get. Our latest fiasco was a pain medicine that was sent in on Friday and not ready Monday. We were told to come back after 3 on Tuesday only to be told the medicine didn't come in. Christmas is Wednesday and my wife who has a fractured pelvis will be without critical medicine because of the incompetence of this pharmacy. Go anywhere else. We are taking our $thousands in medicine elsewhere. ​

Each time, I question why, and I get the same excuse, which is so sorry, next month. And don't bother calling with a question because they don't answer the phone. If you can get someone at the front of the store, they'll transfer your call and then tell them to answer it. Drive thru closed a lot due to staffing issues. Covid gives everyone an excuse. Hours have been cut for when they're open, but that can change daily. You never know if they're open until you get there because you can't call. Why do we go there? My husband's insurance wants us to use Rite Aid. Guess it's time to change insurances. Just drove the 20 miles to find out they're closed due to maintenance issues!!! This place is worthless.

My thought here is that this was a Thrift Drug since you usually found them in a strip mall. Rite Aid swept in, gave it a makeover, and slapped their name on it. Even though the inside of this was newly remodeled it still had that feel that it is underutilized. You get that feeling because of the lack of items available on the shelves and in the coolers. I browsed for a bit, picked up a few items, and made my way to the counter. There was a minimal wait until a staff member who was performing two jobs in one came to the counter to ring me out.
