It's over at the Lycoming Mall and now is the time to begin looking at the future. Lycoming Mall…read morecould never overcome the loss of four anchors (Macy's, JCPenney, Sears, and Bon-Ton) with the negligent ownership of the Kohan Retail Investment Group. The loss of Jr. anchors, including Old Navy and soon Dick's will only accelerate the malls end. What's left? Burlington and Books A Million are the best-known remaining stores. Empty storefronts dominate all wings of the mall now, with the Bon-Ton wing now being almost empty. The empty storefronts of Gap, Old Navy, Hot Topic, Arby's, and f.y.e. all remain identifiable, a reminder of this mall's better times. Ownership has not been keeping up with maintenance, as the parking lot has several areas blocked off and water damage is beginning to become more visible in several places. The area surrounding the mall has started to rebound after several tough years, with replacements coming in for Gander Outdoors, Grizzly Industrial, Pier 1, and Toys R Us. This makes the property attractive for redevelopment. What will happen to the mall? Demolition. Walmart would be an obvious option for a redevelopment, as the Williamsport area lacks a Walmart Supercenter and the current store in Montoursville has no room for expansion. Some portion of the mall and Burlington could remain depending on how creative future ownership can be. I can remember when this was one of the good malls that would be a special trip to shop at. Sadly, those days are over, like the Lycoming Mall.

Upon arrival, I was made to…read morefeel completely at ease while Francis and Matthew took my measurements, found my size, marked my garments for tailoring, and honored my preferences, These men know fine clothing and have the inventory to serve practically all sizes. From suits through to casual wear, shoes and belts and socks and cuff links. They have it all. Tailoring is done on-site with quick turnaround, and pricing is fair for the quality. Highly recommend making an appointment for attentive, top-notch service.

We just came in to browse, and when at the blazer section she came over to tell us that they were too big. She continued to somehow be in the same vicinity we were, and the store is big so she was obviously following us, and "straightening" the already straight clothes. She whispered something to the other owner, and he came over to tell us that we can't use our phones to take pictures because his merchandise is "one of a kind" and "no one makes them". I was using my phone to look up other places to explore around the area, since we're new college students. Then he continued to ask our knowledge in suits and brands, and criticized us saying to my partner that "you must shop at Old Navy. You don't know men's fashion". Overall, they came off rude and pushy. Do not recommend. The items looked cheap like resale items. Service made us not want to come back period. Very overbearing.
