When the oven was not heating properly we called for warranty service. Service person came ( calling it a " courtesy call ) and looked at it without actually doing any repairs and without charge. He told us Stamms do not do GE warranty work ???!!! After he left we tried the oven again and it was still not heating properly. Called the store and asked who at GE to call. Woman said " Google it ". Growing up in a small family business in Lewisburg , we wanted to do business with a small local business. Not sure if Stamms is simply unwilling or incapable of doing GE warranty work but , again - why in the world would you want to do business here with better options available ? We didn't make any headway in explaining ourselves. We brought it home and realized they wrote our last name in whiteout pen on the inside seam of the shirt near the bottom. They said they always do that in case it gets lost but can mark our account to not do that to our things anymore but that they could get lost.
