He told us Stamms do not do GE warranty work ???!!! After he left we tried the oven again and it was still not heating properly. Called the store and asked who at GE to call. Woman said " Google it ". Growing up in a small family business in Lewisburg , we wanted to do business with a small local business. Not sure if Stamms is simply unwilling or incapable of doing GE warranty work but , again - why in the world would you want to do business here with better options available ? A week after getting the couch a bed bug crawled out of it while my husband and I were sitting on it, I have been getting bit for months now and had to get a bug exterminator to take care of the problem not only did beiters not take responsibility but they didnt even apologize for it I am now about 5,000 in credit card debt due to the couch and the exterminators. When the exterminators came over to do the first check they said they could tell the couch was the source of the problem due to it being the only thing infested in the house. I now have bite marks all over and scaring from the ones before. The husband and I are getting a lawyer soon to sue for the cost of extermination and emotional suffering

We didn't make any headway in explaining ourselves. We brought it home and realized they wrote our last name in whiteout pen on the inside seam of the shirt near the bottom. They said they always do that in case it gets lost but can mark our account to not do that to our things anymore but that they could get lost. We told them that we've gone to dry cleaners in major cities across the US and never had someone write on a $100 shirt before. They were unapologetic.

I've been coming to this Cole's Hardware in Lewisburg since moving downtown in 2005 and have…read more*never* failed to get great service and expert advice at this store. As one example, I once brought in a big hand-painted ceramic plate (wedding gift) and asked how they recommended hanging it on a wall. Three staff members, gathered around their table in the back, conferred on the spot. They problem-solved and discussed. They ended up taking two wrought iron hooks off a shelf and welding them to be just the right curvature to hold the plate up. Next they recommended the hardware to hold that weight on our old walls. This was all done in ten minutes twelve years ago and the wedding plate is still hanging on display. All this expertise and quick help was free. The hooks and hardware cost next to nothing too. Amazing. Over the years, people at Cole's have made us new keys, replaced glass, loaded mulch and soil into the back of our vehicle, mixed paint, mixed more paint, advised us on paint, and advised us on everything else from lawn edging materials to wall patching to light bulbs to outlet replacements and dimmers... I've gone to the local Big Box Store Competition, and their "service" can't even be called service by comparison. I wander around for a long time to find someone and the person I find can't help. At Cole's I always get help and answers. Human connection in the form of expertise and friendly service, and top-quality products, all in one. If you haven't gone, go. Local hardware store extraordinaire.
