Great store, great products and great service. I live in Washington DC, but would go to Lewisburg just to visit this store.

I live near DC but the area seems to be lacking for Giant bicycles. Looking online at the Giant website this store came up for nearly every Giant mountain bike model I was interested in. Drove the 3+ hours there and was not disappointed. They have some models on the floor but also a seemingly inexhaustible amount on the property not in view but they can bring out to show you. Let me test ride several and they explained the specs of each. Bought a Giant Talon 2 mountain bike, which was the model I had previously, and it was on an incredible sale. All four of my family's bikes are from here. All are Giant brand and were sold to us at reasonable prices, considering their high quality. The owner has a special plan for children's bikes for a kind of "trade in" of the outgrown bike if you've gotten it from him. We have traded in two bikes now as our children grow. The owner does excellent, detailed work to repair and maintain bikes purchased here and provides discounts on tune-ups for loyal customers. The business was sold by the original owner (Earl) to his younger brother in January 2023, and renamed Link Cyclery at that time. I remain a loyal customer and I recommend this shop. read more

Can't say enough about these guys..got bit by the cycling bug in 2017, (road bikes)..bought a Specialized Allez at a closer to me bike shop..they are good enough folks and they have some decent stuff, but nothing like Link. I traded in my Specialized and they gave me more than fair value, and bought a Carbon fiber road racer. The store and quality of products and service is unreal..turnaround time on maintenance and repair is night and day compared to the last place I bought my Allez.. read more

Great customer service along with an extensive selection of bikes and accessories. Earl's Bike shop is an example of what a LBS should be; knowledgeable staff, a variety of various styles of bikes at reasonable prices, all in a customer friendly store. We usually stop in to Earl's when we are visiting Lewisburg to look around, pick up accessories, etc. The location is great, right along the Buffalo Valley Rail to Trail, that runs between Mifflinburg and Lewisburg. Recently we were shopping for a new bike for my wife, which would be good for rails to trails and recreational riding. On our first "shopping visit" the sales person walked us through the various bikes and worked to understand what our needs were and then recommend the bike that may best meet these needs. We took this information home with us so we could also look at the information on the recommended bikes. We did return to Earl's to purchase a bike and during this visit, we inquired about two models that were several hundred dollars than the one we were planning to purchase. The salesman explained the details of the other bikes, but stated that we didn't need that level of bike for the riding we were planning. This impressed me since he could have easily tried to upsell us on a different bike. This type of customer first approach is what will make us return to purchase additional bikes in the future! Earl's stocks Giant brand bikes and Liv (by Giant), which are very good quality. Overall the prices are reasonable for this quality/level of bikes, but for those shoppers new to LBS, they may be surprised at prices if they are used to shopping at the big chain sporting goods stores. In addition to the quality bikes being sold, an additional selling point is the service after the sale, which includes 10% off accessories, flat repair in the first year, two month/first year adjustments, and tune up discounts in the future. These extra's, which are not offered at chain stores, along with the expert knowledge of the staff, sets Earl's apart from other stores. It's nice to be able to do business with a store where you are welcomed by a staff that has a passion for all levels of biking and to know they have your best interest in mind during the sale. read more

"earl", you sold me a giant escape disc 1 in march of 2021, i got a few rides out of it before it fell apart, starting at the chainwheel mechanism.... yes, a brand new bike fell apart completely (starting at the chain) after i put barely 100 miles on it. bike broke down middle of nowhere and i had to walk many miles home. i contact this poor excuse of an american businessman (earl) and he gives me a real nonchalant response. he claims he told my mother to bring the bike back after a month for the usual new bike tune-up, but he did not in fact say anything to my mom about that. i have spent hundreds of dollars trying to fix the bike since at different bike shops (because i wouldn't shop with earl again in the future, even if you paid me to!) since i purchased it from earl's and it fell apart within the first month. you should stand behind your products earl, and cover expenses on shitty bikes you sell (and assemble)! may the universe reflect back to you your complete and utter shittiness. you are lucky i didn't see you in person. . . read more

Wow! I was so excited to be able to rent a bike while we stayed in Lewisburg. The folks at Earl's were great. I was able to rent a bike for the weekend and I road the rail trail every day. We lost our bikes on the road going camping by a bolt coming loose and snapping off from our bike rack. When we retrieved the bikes they were surprisingly in good condition with minor issues, but issues that needed to be fixed to still ride them. Our 5 year old lost it when he found out he wasn't going to be able to ride his bike that weekend. We looked up the nearest store to the campground we were staying, and it was Earl's. Even though we were clueless to the bikes we had (Left them at the campground and they were a gift from grandparents so totally unsure of make at that time) The gentleman who helped us got us everything we had described. My husband was sure he could do all the work himself so we just go the parts, even though they offered for us to bring the bikes in for them to fix. They were so kind to get everything for us and assisted in buying new bike seats, gear shifter, and wheel. Everything fit and we were able to ride through the countryside the next day with no issues!
