A must stop when I'm in town visiting family. Love their local items. Their meat selections are nice with reasonable prices when on sale.

My heart medicine was supposed to be automatic refill, but the pharmacist at Weis pharmacy decided…read morethat wasn't really what she wanted to do that day. So went to buy three pills until she could properly fill the refill that's been on the book for the last six months. During the conversation in which she was very rude, I asked her why she didn't have empathy for me and my frustration as a heart patient and the store not refilling my drug on time. She told me point-blank she was not gonna refill my drug. When my husband spoke to her she repeated that she had no empathy at all for any patient ever. Now, unfortunately, I was injured in an accident and I haven't been able to get with the CEO of this company and I haven't been able to file Better Business Bureau Official complaint, but I will be. The pharmacist is white, skinny, looks like a man, claims to be a woman, and extremely rude.. I came looking for help because this store made a problem for me by not doing what they said they would. The pharmacist told me point-blank, no empathy for no one, no patient ever, so be very wary of getting the drugs here. As a matter of fact, they messed up my next two drugs that I had to pick up because I had an accident and I do believe that this was totally on purpose. I hope she enjoys her life because I'm not done with her. Edit update five seconds after posting: no sooner did this post then a post returning the I'm sorry please call this number popped up. So no actual person read it so keep that in mind you're not going to deal with actual people. I have them gonna deal with the CEO. I have his phone number. I have his email address and I will be making an appointment with his office . If you doubt me just follow me a while and you'll see.

Nothing double bagged, 3 bags split open trying to carry them in the house, all my cans are now dented and my gallon of milk broke open all over the sidewalk. Hopefully next time Diane will focus on customer service instead of worrying about "all the sh*t going on in this store". However, I have to say that the younger checkout girls and boys are always engaging customers in conversation and do a wonderful job bagging everything. Diane, take notes from them.

I have to drive 45 minutes to get to Wegmans and make sure I make it a bi-weekly to monthly visit…read more It's always very busy and there's usually a decent wait to get food made for lunch, but they have an adequate number of staff and get your through as fast as they can. There are many items that you can't get at other grocery stores in the area, which makes this a must stop if you like to cook. I always get the old fashioned hoagie and I think it's the best hoagie that I've ever had and I've been around.

I called a family who I know are attached to their phones looking for requests. Nobody picked up. I text them, "Nobody picks up their phones ... No Wegmans for you!" My phone then blew up! I came home with fresh pineapple, chocolate chip & double chocolate muffins, AND ultimate chocolate chip cookies. There is so much to see, the variety of products , the freshness of seafood, meat and produce ... I spent two hours making selections. I was in my happy place. The apple doesn't fall from the tree. Stopped at my parents on the way home to share my bounty ... it was childlike wonder as I opened the 3 coolers and we oohed and aahed ... priceless.

2027 can't come soon enough. Cranberry Wegmans opens…read more On a business trip, put in a bakery order several days ahead of time. Being able to pick up my (large) bakery order and not leaving someone disappointed at home makes me happy. Had my list of must haves. I meandered through all the departments. Wasn't on a time schedule. I spent 2 hours in the store. Found beautiful baby lamb chops. Filets were $6/lb cheaper than my grocery store. Bought beautiful endive. Had to bring home the red wine peppered salami. Coming home, opening the cooler, and handing out foodie presents is like Christmas morning. The oohs and aahs were heard at multiple houses. The staff were very helpful finding my treasures. Wegmans trips make traveling for business worth it.

How this Wegmans location has sunken…read more.. Back before they dedicated a significant chunk of store to alcohol, they had a pretty nice tea nook and natural section. It used to be somewhat "fun" to shop here, and the international corner had more variety. Parts of the latter have been gutted and somethings dispersed back into the regular aisles. Everytime you walk by the alcohol section, whatever dutiful lady theu have standing guard of the section, has to eyeball me like surely that's surely where I must be heading. Should not feel the need to mention, but I could not care less about drinking, and even if I did, I wouldn't come here for that. When I was younger and working grocery for peanuts at a mediocre grocery chain that wasn't known for such above average employee benefits and environments than precious Wegmans, our crews had good attitudes while still being human. Somehow, the employees at Wegmans have a general blend of apathy, misery, and barely tolerance. I remember one instance I had to go in there soon after a family tragedy, two days without sleep, stress, through the roof and a chronic medical condition dragging me down worse than usual, and I still did my best to be pleasant and polite to a cashier who was literally talking to me like she hated my guts, like I had just wronged her entire family for years, while moving my items like it took every fiber of her being to not slam each one down in the bag. No idea what that was about, as the people in front of me got no such treatment. It's not as if i was wearing my own feelings in my sleeve. I would've been let go on the spot for displaying a fraction of the attitude while I was making a fraction of their wage, this young woman was flat out being abusive. I've never even seen a teenager act out in such a way to a complete stranger. It was so bizarre. We used to have such pleasant interactions with the employees here, and we'd even sometimes plan our hour away trips to thr area around coming to this store. Now it's tacked when it's absolutely neccesary, and we see it as a chore to even run in for a couple things, a mild dread usually reserved for Walmart. The level of the self importance vibe of the people who still shop here who act like they're in some high end metropolis in a hurry and everyone else is just cattle in their way is so thick. The thing is, it doesn't even make sense. Wegmans (at least this location) has very few things that make it exclusive anymore. It is reduced to a status symbol store in so many ways, without the goods and services to back it up. Because they still have people playing chef for Safeway deli / mall caliber food? Get me out of here.

Out of all the weis stores this one is by far the worst ever. Let's start with the produce section…read more Always watch the fruits and vegetables you purchase at this location because they usually are rotten to the point mold is growing on them. Informed associates many times and it never gets handled. Typically they don't bother to rotate or dispose things. Next is the bakery. Flies are always swarming in the doughnut case. the doughnuts often are stale and taste like cigarettes. Items that should be refrigerated are not and spoil. Next is the deli and fresh food case. They leave food in the cold cases for days it seems. Subs and wraps are slimy. Expired food never disposed off and often left there. Hot food case is no better. Food left there for hours after the allotted time. Food is often dried out or outright disgusting. The bathrooms for customers are mostly dirty and rarely get cleaned. When they do clean they soak them with water and don't bother drying them out. Frozen section is next and you guessed it... another nightmare. They bring carts full of frozen items and dairy items and they just sit there. No rush to get the products into refrigeration or freezers. Often employees will leave carts and go chit chat with other staff. So buy at your own discretion. Last is the women who often stands at the self check out. She finds pleasure in belittling people , inserting herself when she is told no help is needed. She licks her fingers and touchs the bags... and touches people children without permission... somehow she still has a job.... shocking. Best advice if you can shop elsewhere. Mill hall or jersey shore weis is by far 1000x better in everything. This place is only conveniently supermarket besides save a lots so up charging is apparent.
