We also got fries, which were good and straight out of the fryer and were good. Service: Was good and fast, but at the fries stand the guy was talking. Other than that, clean and friendly. Atmosphere: Could tell that this was where the community came and connected. I liked that. Some of the vendors looked very bored. Overall: Parking was a bit funky, but they had 3 entrances which was helpful. I couldn't really learn much before we spent money there from the website, so I wish the website was a bit clearer. Other than these, the real experience was good, and sausage sandwich that the person with me ordered was apparently amazing. Would go here again. Good Amish produce.

The first person I met during my stay at Genetti Hotel mentioned that this market existed and convinced me to take a stroll over to visit, just a block away. I love supporting local farmers and small businesses , so I was glad to do so. The market offers a broad array of local merchants and artisans of all varieties, such as farm fresh producers of veggies, fruits and meats, soap makers, jewelry makers, horticultural creators, seafood vendors, wood workers, hot food chefs who cook on demand, bakers... you name it! The best part was getting to talk to a couple of the merchants. I met one soap maker who explained her entire process for making bars of soap from start to finish. She was very transparent with me about which products were all natural as I am cautious about using products that might irritate my sensitive skin. That interaction made me feel more inclined to support her business and help me appreciate the product that much more. My husband walked away from the meat tent with a big, farm fresh, vacuum sealed and frozen brisket that cost only $7 per pound. (!!) Cash is preferred but credit & debit cards are accepted throughout the market place. Everyone offered service with a smile and a kind word. I walked away one happy shopper.

I accidentally dropped my car keys in the foyer, left the foyer, the outer doors closed behind me and locked. My keys were on the floor in the foyer. Everyone else had left the parking lot. There was no one in the store. I stood banging on the door for at least five minutes as the lights were all on still. An employee came up through the aisle, looked at me, and went to the back employee area. I was a little upset, thinking she ignored me. But then about five seconds later, she came out with another employee. Smart move on her part. You never know these days. Once they saw my keys on the floor, they saw my dilemma.
