If you want gifts to bring home that come with an affordable price; you gotta go to Walmart. They also have a variety of things you can get! There are interesting items, souvenirs, snacks, and candies you can find that you don't see on the mainland Walmarts.

The Maui Walmart has all the bells and whistles of a Hawaiian store. The collection of fruits, the variety of soaps, or local drinks, clothes, and cosmetics. Makes it worth a visit. Especially if u r in the vicinity and have time on hand, drop by, I can assure you even Walnart has a local Hawaiian flavor to it.

This isn't a bad Walmart but it is a busy location. The associates that I talked to were friendly to me and helpful. My photos were printed same day as I ordered them, making them very quick. I needed an SD card and it was the first I've experienced lately where I didn't have a huge wait to get something unlocked. The grocery side is a little weird, different from other Walmart stores. They do have plenty of options for all kind of things, sweaters, fruit, magnets. This is probably a good choice for buying souvenirs if you're looking for cost effectiveness. Something they could improve on is the self checkout lines. Other than the long checkout waits, there's a lot going on at the store location. Plenty of local goods found here too.

No matter when you go it seems this store is always busy. So 3 stars just cause it's always hectic to get in or out of the parking lot. Usually can't find an employee if you need assistance. Or for when you do takes a long wait time. Plus I still think I should get a part time employee discount every time I turn into a cashier before heading out the door. Lol

Whenever we visit Maui, we always go to Walmart (usually several times). They have a huge section of souvenirs. They sell everything you could possibly think of and then some. Their prices are really great. I usually buy most of my souvenirs here. On this trip, I purchased coffee, cookies, macadamia nuts, and a t-shirt. We also buy paper goods here. Their prices are less expensive than Costco!

Wal-Mart is terrible when it comes to delivery, look at the pictures, driver came out of the car sweating, but he said the ice cream was fine, what a freaking joke, this isn't the first time , numerous occasions I called to check if they had certain items in stock, they said yes so I ordered then afterwards I received my order , they were out of stock, not once not even twice, im a fool too continue paying for Walmart plus, Which in end today, and another thing, numerous times tried to talk to the store manager, but he's to good to talk to a paying customer, I guess he forgot who pays him, what a loser

I tried ABC stores and many of the souvenirs shops all around Maui, and Walmart is the cheapest with the most selection.

It is walkable and about 15 minutes. A cab was $20 for two and an uber for 6 would have been $21 with a tip. The ladies in my party went to Longs to find deals on cookies, candies and nuts. It was a bit crowded in the store but other customers were friendly. There was also a TJ Maxx. It was pretty clean. There were a few eateries, a movie theater, and a few other miscellaneous shops in this mall. Close by was a Ross and a Walmart. I heard a lot of the crew went to Walmart. It was nice to take a trip off the ship and walk thru this mall.

It is anchored by a Whole Foods, TJ Maxx, Longs Drugs, and a 12 screen cinema complex. It also has an Avis-Budget office, which didn't initially appear on my list of possible rental car agencies. It could be an option for car rental, if coming from a cruise ship. There are shaded places to sit in the main courtyard, so we ended up staying there a bit before moving on. There is supposed to be free Wi-Fi, which we tried to use after giving our email address, but it didn't work

Finally back home to Maui's Costco after a dozen years! Not much has changed, still as massive of…read morea store as ever! And TONS of local Hawaii goods to be had by all, in bulk quantity HA!! Nothing like than stocking up on necessities while staying in the hotels here - Hawaiian bottled water, Made in Hawaii snacks, a kanak attack serving size (or 2) of poke, slippahs, swim shorts, and maybe a momona size bag of POI? Bring em'! But what did we really stop by for at Costco after our flight in from Vegas? The cheapest meal on the entire island of Maui! Da ever excellent, gourmet COSTCO HOT DOG Combo! Best $1.50 meal hack LOL! Tastes so much better though with the breeze in your face since the food court is located outside! Makes the Diet Coke that much sweeter! MAUI Costco NO KA OI!!

Ah Costco, unfortunately your standards are slipping in the food department, and needs some work to…read morebring it back up to the usual Costco standards we like and expect and which Costco stores are proud of. So much food I have bought over the past 5 months has been disappointing and an expensive waste: Milk - I always buy the lowfat gallon containers and they always go off at least 4 days before the sell by date. Either the date is incorrect or the milk is not being transported at the correct heat. We tried freezing half the gallon to try to avoid this but both halves go off quickly Asparagus - every time I buy it and open it same day it is slimy and limp and inedible Peppers - 6 pack of multi coloured peppers are usually soft and mouldy when you cut into them, again transporting them without the right heat could be a cause Apples - soft and powdery inside Living on the other side of the island, over an hours drive away, means it is hard to return spoiled food/milk quickly. It is an expensive problem for us and annoying as food is already so expensive on island. Please Costco buyers and managers in Kahului, ensure your standards are being met and that customers are not buying spoiled food!
