The store has no employees. I went there this AM to buy just a few things. There were about 100 people in line for the self checkout. They finally opened one staffed checkout but there were about 50 people in line. Two of the other customers were really rude to me and seemed to assume I was trying to get some sort of priivilege to pay for my 5 items. I would have had to wait for 40 minutes to pay. Picture this. I'm trying to enjoy a nice spring break with my girlies. The sales tax in Massachusetts is outrageous, so we figure let's drive into New Hampshire and purchase our goods. It appears to be well stocked, but trying to check out is a mess. I had to score this store lower because management has a clear failure in their responsibility to do the required job at this store location. Online pick-up for this store is a joke. Received an email confirmation telling me my order was ready. Walk into the store and the online pick up hours are apparently 8am-8pm. It's 8:08pm. No where in my email does it say there are specific pick-up hours. I ask the store manager about my order and she tells me she can't get my order and the pick-up hours are stated in the email. I tell her that the email most certainly does not state such and show her my email. She looks at it and when she realizes it truly does not specify pick up hours, she says "well it SHOULD". Went to Hudson walmart to get my money back for an item i did not purchase nor received. Instead the management decided to loudly in front of many customer accuse ME of trying to steal from the company. Even getting loss prevention involved. Yes LP verified by watching video evidence of my transaction that i NEVER had the product. Instead of giving me my money back the assistant manager admitted i was owed my money back. He said he was not going to do the refund because of my attitude. What kind of attitude am i supposed to have when you just embarrassed me in front of several people. You accused me and led other customers to think i was a thief and was caught trying to steal. In fa t the company actually stole from me. The actual store manager treated me with disrespect as well. He admitted falsely sale signing items that were not on sale because he said it was the customers responsibility to notice the price discrepancy at check out. Looking for clothes? No one is there to help you in the men's section, or shoe section, or pretty much any section. Looking for a computer? Most staff are not knowledgeable about the products. Problem is, they treat their customers as bad as their employees. This huge corporation makes billions of dollars in profits, but shunts all of the oney away from the workers, so much so that most Walmart employees literally eed food stamps to get by. That's shameful. Perhaps if they finally paid their employees more than $9 an hour, they would have more employees on hand, and more competent ones at that. One word: Over-illuminated! It's one of a few stores I simply can't walk into without getting a headache. None of the other WalMarts around have the same issue... it is a poor design at that one. I can never find anyone to help me in this store! The employees always are rushing around and so focused on their tasks at hand that they never offer assistance or when you approach them to ask a question they dash away! I called the store manager and he apologized and offered me a gift card to the store. Thanks? My worst experience was when I went to the store to pick up a futon frame and mattress. There was no one at the back desk to help me. I waited about 20 minutes, while employees kept walking past me and no one asked me if i needed assistance. I don't frequent Walmart as a personal choice. This is much easier to do in New England than it is in the Midwest because the NE Walmarts all seem to be utter crapholes. Is it because they don't have the big grocery sections? I don't know. This Walmart is pretty bad, with crowded aisles, half-empty shelves of merch, dirty floors, stuff out of place. I mean, it's better than the one in Methuen, or the one on the Lowell/Chelmsford city line, but that's not saying a whole lot. And the lighting is just terrible. It's not overilluminated, per se, just overly fluorescent. Everyone and everything in the store has the sickly yellow tint. And would it kill people to actually put a shopping cart in a cart corral? The couple times I've been here, I've parked as far away from the store as possible to shield my car from the loose carts flying through the lot. read more

Here is my experience at Walmart Hudson, NH. Purchased a halloween costume just two days before on halloween costume sale. Went today for return the costume since the kid didn't like it. The manager at this walmart stated all sales were final and cannot be returned. There is no statement in the receipt (or anywhere) that all sales are final. Also, they come with a solution they will give 5 dollars 97 cents (since the present markdown is 75 percent off) instead of the actual money paid by me 11 dollars 97 cents. I can't believe the way, the arrogant manager behaved. I can agree if the costume was purchased before halloween. Some people buy things before halloween, use it and return it. In my case, it was purchased after halloween (Friday) and I am returning on Sunday. Worst customer service. read more

I went to this store 3 times last week and absolutely everyone was so nice and helpful! I'm not familiar with this store, & I needed help finding and returning really varied items, and every single associate was kind and helpful, which is really impressive during this pandemic. All the employees were wearing masks and a smile (in their eyes LOL). Some items that were listed as in stock online weren't there, but that's the case with most large chain stores, and in Covid times I'm not gonna stress that a $4 scrub shirt on clearance was gone. Bathrooms were clean and the store was organized. I made sure to tell the employees how kind they were, and unfortunately it seems that these essential workers aren't getting the praise they should. I never had to search for an associate, and literally every person was friendly, from the floor to returns to electronics to the cashiers. Please make it known to the associates if you appreciate them-they're putting themselves on the line so we can get good deals! read more

First- I only go into a Walmart if I'm with someone who wants to shop there. This one is small and probably survives because Nashua refuses to let a Walmart in our city. I was disappointed in the cellphone area. Walmart sells TracPhones but I could only find one phone case that would fit the brand of TracPhone from Walmart that I have. There was one clip-on telephoto phone lens to choose from. A helpful employee looked up info about it for me because there wasn't much on the box. We agreed that if the description of the lens was just, "high quality," it probably isn't. There are better phone accessories displays and products in the checkout area of Barnes and Noble Booksellers than Walmart's phone area. In case you're wondering, yes they still sell computer mice and mouse pads there. The store is living in the past. read more

Went in today looking for a baby pool float for my nephew. On the app it said they had all different ones but when we were looking there were none to be found. I asked at least 3 people for help and none of the women knew where they were. One even told me she's never heard of them before... no one offered to help look it up or help us look. This was the only store in the area that said they had them so needless to say I was frustrated and pissed off. It was a 98 degree day out lol their customer service is atrocious and the people are so incompetent. This is not the first time I've experienced this but today I finally decided I was fed up. I had a really great experience at this location today. I made some returns and the woman at customer service who helped me was very kind, I wish I got her name. But then the woman who checked me out, her name is Shasta, she was an absolute angel. She was supposed to be leaving but I only had two items so she was going to check me out. My card wasn't working and she even waited for me to fix the problem and. Heck out with her. She was so patient and sweet and really just gave that level of customer service and kindness that can really make your day a little better. I plan to call and send more praise. Whatever I can do to shine a light on her kindness and patience. Thank you Shasta. It's been a rough couple of weeks for me and a lot of other people during lockdown and I bet you're making a lot of people feel better even just for a minute. read more

BTW the salesclerk in the fabric/sewing center says they are going to stop selling fabric soon. Updated the kid's clothing, socks, underwear, and shoes, shirts and underwear for my hubby.
