It's a Walmart Supercenter. This means lower prices (hopefully not at the expense of their employees....) Walmart hasn't had the most positive publicity over the years and for that reason I'm not a regular; I think employees should be treated fair and paid accordingly. Today I went with a friend who needed something specifically from this store so I walked around and purchased more than I intended. It's quite big. Their fresh produce department looks reasonable, not everything is cheap (oranges $7,49?!?? Really?!!!!) It's a one-stop shop which makes life so much easier. And they do carry so much, that's absolutely true. It's not a store I'd visit frequently but when I'm in the area I will drop by. read more

Horrible!! Shelves not stocked properly. I couldn't reach the water bottles. There was absolutely no one on the floor anywhere to help. I had to stand on a 24 pack to reach up and back to get my six pack of water. Then while I spent 20 min attempting to get water, they locked the door that I came in. I then politely asked the manager to let me out the door. He said no. That's the way it is. Locked at 9 pm. One man was in a wheelchair who had to go clear out of his way. This is rude! Someone should be stationed at the door letting people out for at least 30 minutes! What is happened to customer service at Walmart! There is none! read more

I had 7 teeth extracted today. Seven. All in the front. Lot of wrenching and breaking, yanking and pulling. Not to mention 8 shots - 2 directly in the jaw and 2 in the roof of my mouth. "It's gonna hurt" was an understatement. So you can imagine how I felt when I left the dental office and walked into Walmart. Speech communication was basically a no-go. I've never been to the pharmacy at this location and it was a delight. No, seriously, excellent customer service. $30 for the fill and it would be a half hour. No biggee - took a walk around the store as I waited. Found the electronics department and just as I was about to purchase a movie I felt something pooling on my numbed upper lip. Blood. Next thing I did was find myself back in the pharmacy area grabbing a box of gauze and headed up to pay. It was sooner than the half hour given and they pushed me thru to get me out the door. Seems they recognized I had the box of gauze open and started sopping up the hemoglobins; they were very gracious to help me out. I tried to smile but it was nearly impossible and made a quick dash to the car. The pharmacist made a huge effort to understand my incoherent mutterings which is an added bonus. This will be quick; I can't be unfair and give it anything less than a 3 but sure as heck won't be getting anything more. Would it literally kill them open up more than 3 damn registers in a store that literally has about 30 plus people waiting in line?!!??! What's up with that? Can't possibly lie and say it's a shortage of staff because there was nearly 600 other associates roaming the floor, that was an exaggeration clearly but you get my drift. The employees are not even friendly. They don't hardly say hi or ask if you need help. Same with the cashiers but honestly if I worked at Walmart i'd probably be the same way. This WalMart is better than Holgate & 82nd's Walmart. At least this one doesn't have tons of screaming kids even on Sunday. I don't shop at Walmart much just because I usually prefer Target or Fred Meyer, but if you want to save some money and in the area, this Walmart will be just fine. Employees were nice and crowds were not so bad. I didn't see any worth mention people of Walmart from this location. I'm not a big Wal-Mart shopper, mostly because of location. But I was working on a craft project and know that their prices are about 40% of what Michael's and Joann's charge so decided to see if they carried what I was looking for. I was in the area otherwise I would have just picked up the item at one of the craft stores. I find this store to be one of the better ones. It usually isn't terribly crowded and the cashier's here are generally pretty friendly. When I do make it to this store I try to take advantage by picking up a few non-perishables like TP, paper towels, cleaning supplies, and beauty supplies. Once again, the prices are for the most part quite a bit better than some of the other chain stores. Arrive early in the day as this is when the store is especially quiet and the lines non-existent. read more

First Impression: Meh. Just like every other Walmart. Afterthoughts: I have some mixed feelings about this Walmart location, and after reading others' reviews, they seem to have mixed feelings as well. I certainly would not recommend this Walmart, but if you told me your were going, I would be like "meh". Pros: - Fast and friendly service - our cashiers' name was Patricia, and she was very kind. - This store has pretty much everything; from clothing to glasses to food - they have it. - Their prices are cheap on most items. - The staff knew where everything was - which, sounds to be expected, but surprisingly I've gone to a few stores (not in the Walmart chain) where they have no clue where anything is. Cons: - Seemed slightly disorganized at some points - for example, there was no spot to put my umbrella, and also my broom that I bought had no price tag on it, so I had to grab another from the other side of the building so my cashier could scan it. While these are small and nit-pickey, tiny things like those details can make a persons experience and their shopping feel more secure and personal. - A few staff members seemed to be clumped together doing things they most likely should not have been doing on the job. They were using their phones, laughing, taking selfies, and when customers passed, didn't really ask them anything, or say hello. It felt like a disconnection; they made it feel less welcoming in my opinion. While no one outright asked them anything from what I saw, they didn't really accept with open arms, either. (note: our cashier, Patricia, was not a part of this group - she was actually very kind.) - So, to wrap things up, worse than I expected, but not terrible. Very happy with the pharmacy. My medication was well over $100 cheaper here than every other pharmacy I looked at. And $40 cheaper than through my insurance mail-order. Open 8AM to 10:00.00PM. Closing time STRICTLY enforced by security sweep like nowhere else. Employees are generally RUDE. Dare go inside the store from the door marked "exit" and expect the "door greeter" or rather, "rude doormaster" to rudely tell you "EXIT ONLY!" or "you're going the wrong way!" Ask someone where something is and expect very little help and unfriendly attitude Things are not organized in a logical way, so unless you're a regular shopper to this location, it can be quite time consuming to find what you're looking for. Do buy brand name goods, consumable and supplies. Don't buy Durabrand, Athletic Works and other Wal-Mart private label durable goods, such as small appliances, shoes and anything you expect to be able to find parts and supplies down the road or expect to last longer than 90 days. read more

Bought a tv here and brought it come. Took it out of the box and it was cracked. Have made two attempts to return and customer service has been closed. This is ridiculous and not worth it. C'mon....like I need to write a review. Everyone has been to a Walmart, and they're basically all the same. This one, however, is kind of a special little cross-section of Americana....and possibly a cross-section of Mexicana as well, if that's a thing. This Walmart represents all the horrible ways in which I imagine Europeans perceive us. It's basically a warehouse that contains every stereotype made popular by the reality television of today- -see if you can spot 'em! Fun for the whole family! There will definitely be "Intervention" guy....possibly someone who was actually on the show. There will be a whole season of Jerry Springer or Maury, or whatever variation is still televised. There will be someone from Jersey Shore....Gresham Shore. "Jon and Kate Plus 8"...some of these people dream of only have 8 offspring! All the rejects from "Biggest Loser" will be there, possibly in the "food court." I could go on, but what's the point. As a side note, there isn't actually a good reason to shop here (except for the people watching....which is as good as it gets). There's a whole world of other stores that offer the same items, at perhaps a few pennies more. You're not saving that much at Wal-Mart, and unless you've had all of your inoculations recently....you're kinda also gambling with your own abilities to fend off the pathogens that call this place home. It should also be known that my favorite moment from this particular Wal-Mart is when the women's bathroom had a human turd on the floor. Not in one of the stalls, but just out by the sinks (masterful)....and, said turd, was there long enough for someone, not to clean it up, but to put an orange cone next to it to warn people from stepping on it. The minute I walk into this Walmart, the disappointment begins. Firstly, if you're there to grab just a few items with basket in hand, good luck. This location is almost always out of those little plastic baskets we all love to use for quick trips. Employees claim that the customers steal them and even have enacted policies prohibiting customers from taking the baskets from inside the store with limited success. Although I believe their excuse of theft, I do not believe in the practice of letting your store run completely out! Your competitor, Fred Meyer's, just down the street never lets their store run out or even low on baskets! Now after no basket disappointment, its time for some more bad customer service. I need a Money Order today! Ooooooopppss.. Look at that long LONG line at the customer service/money station center! This location can pay a person to welcome you to Walmart, Pay a person to make sure you don't take a plastic basket out of the store and can afford to pay a PIC to hang around the entrance to B.S. but can't get any of them to go over and help out at the Service Desk when one associate can't keep up with half of dozen or so people wanting to return an item or use their money services. Again folks, PIC's see this and do nothing at this location but continue to B.S. and try not to look over at the line. Lastly, after spending 20 minutes to get my Money Order, I need to use the men's room which is right next to the Money Center. I'm dressed in my Winter Coat and proceed into a stall. Ok.. Need to take this Winter Coat off and lets.. well lets.. not hang it anywhere because Walmart is too cheap to provide coat hooks in their stalls. I guess they feel that their customers can just ball their coats up and stuff them on the floor of the dirty bathroom or try to "Wedge" it in the door and hope it don't fall. I could share more points of disappointment about this store but with 3 of them being only 50 feet from the main entrance, I don't see the need. Poorly motivated employees+Poorly trained PIC's+Uncaring and unreachable GM makes this a Walmart to avoid.. at all costs.. nuff said.. read more

As she tells my mom to put her credit card in her wallet. really? I'm standing right here lady. When I asked for plastic? I was told that portland has outlawed it. Okay, thats okay, but can I get a bag with handles? no? I gotta buy one? no don't think so. so beins that y'all are so elderly attentive? catch this, and learn from it. You don't put all the heavy objects in one bag, with no handles, for an elderly lady. you put it in several different bags so she can pick it up. there's also another little thing called double baggin. learn it. when I went to put the groceries, in the car? the bag broke, and ensure went everywhere. pay attention. cause attention pays. oh, and christian lady protesting in the parking lot? get a grip. your sign about "what would jesus buy?" is answered simply put. jesus wouldn't buy anything. he just wouldn't. and other lady? with your occupy crap? how many things have you bought today with a credit card? learn to spell. and yes, I put the X in Xmas. read more

Somehow, this Wal-Mart is even more soulless than most of them. I'm not sure why. It may be the lighting's different or the placement of items is off. Or, more likely, it's the apathetic attitude most of the staff have. However, I just popped in there with my wife last night to get the latest Assassin's Creed game and was helped by a very nice woman at the photo counter. So, it's not all bad. I am a bit jaded though, as I've been to "mega" Wal-Marts (as if they aren't all pretty mega already) in rural areas where everybody is friendly and cheerful and the racks of stuff don't look so haphazard and picked over. If so, I have one piece of feedback: RESTOCK THE HAND BASKETS This store has inexplicably been out of hand baskets since September 2015, according to an associate I spoke to. Another several months back told me that the hand baskets had been stolen, which frankly, I don't believe. The entrance/exit to the stores are monitored 24/7. Actually, what I found out today is that the store was down to "a few." How is this even possible? So now my shopping experience is this: I need to go in for a few items, more than I can comfortably carry in my arms, and way less than what a shopping cart warrants. And now you expect me to wander the narrow store aisles with this cart as I load it up with seven items. As of this afternoon (4:00 p.m.) this store had a sign up about a number of job openings. Surely if this store can hire a bunch of new employees, it can invest in more hand baskets. Or call corporate and have them send a bunch. Something. TAKE SOME ACTION. read more

My daughter and law with her 22 month old son was not allowed to pick up a wagon I had ordered and shipped to the location. The department who handled this would not call their corporate office that had instructions that she could sign for it (rather than my son), and would not accept phone calls from the corporate office.
