Nice chill place. Staff was nice. Lots of clothes. Good prices. Felt just like the shops in Southern California.

If you've ever been to a liquor store in the Midwest that also sells clothes, then this will feel very similar, except the space is larger. The clothes are low quality and priced high and some of the items don't even make sense. I'm 5'7 and some of the pants were up to my armpits. They do have a wide variety of items and inclusive sizing. I ended up buying my son a pair of sweat pants. We washed them when we got home and the stiching came apart after one wash. The pants were $20. I would spend your money elsewhere. read more

Hit or miss should be the name of this store. You can't try anything on, so you have to buy ,take the item home(hope it fits),and if it doesn't? Well ,hopefully you don't have to deal with anyone but the one young women that I see there. These rest of the staff, stand around like they are on the lookout, and they can't be bothered. One of them tried to refuse to accept my return for an ill fitting pair of pants. He was rude as hell and it took the young woman stepping in to make things right. I feel obligated to post a 5-star review for top to bottom on account they have been a consistent go-to store for all clothes baggy. If you came of age in the bygone era of JNCO pants with pockets big enough to nest a holiday turkey or Caffeine pants that were big enough to sneak two of your friends into the DJ Dara late-night set just by hugging tight to your legs, Top to Bottom is still pushing that vibe. Honestly, it's more of a ghetto-fabulous boutique with super discounted items that push the boundaries of affordable stylish upscale hoodwear and why they only have 2.5 stars on yelp is beyond my understanding. Just keep your expectations in check and put into perspective that you're about to walk into a store whose entire inventory probably "fell off a truck" somewhere near Mexico city before ending up in the warehouse before you. Great place to shop Edgy clothes and you don't have to break the bank buying an outfit or two here. All sizes from children to XXXL. I come here at least once a month and get compliments on the brands I get here frequently. Switch is my favorite brand they carry-but it runs small, I get an XL when I need a medium usually. read more

I purchased a pair of dress shoes from here one week ago. Within 5 days a thread came out holding part of the shoe together. The receipt states 14 day returns so I figured I would return to exchange for a new pair. I walk in the store and explained the problem with the shoes and showed the guy my receipt. This guy took my shoes out of the box, looked at the bottom, and told me he could not return them. All because the bottom of the shoes had scuffs on the bottom of the sole. What do you expect, they are shoes for crying out loud. I told him the receipt stated. 14 days. He told me they only take returns they can resale. I am upset. Times are tough and what money I spent on the shoes was a lot for me. Yea I dropped the shoes on the floor, told them to keep them, and walked out of the store. Amazing! My kids and I shop there but not anymore. Would rather pay extra somewhere that treats their customers right. SMH. Just don't get it. A few bucks is worth more than a returning customer. Like the retail and hospitality says, negative comments go a long way and I will tell everyone I know about this experience. I know somebody will read this and say waaahh baby. it's not right to treat your customers like that. it's too bad that no matter who I tell about this, they will still thrive as a business. Top to Bottom, like Gen X, is your one-stop shopping source for any gear you'll need to wander up and down 82nd and fit right in. Need a blank color tee that just the right match for your blank color hat? How about a hoodie with a really busy, over-the-top print on it? Maybe a tight baby T that says "Playmate in Training"? Or just a giant XXXL shirt with an airbrished picture of Mac Dre with "Mac Dre" spelled out in rhinestones right next to it? Yeah, Top to Bottom has got you covered. all around. All jokes aside, however, this is going to be my go-to spot for costume stuff in the future. The accessories case alone is a goldmine. Finally found Portland's own version of Fort Lauderdale's Swap Shop - almost! close enough! Absolutely mind boggling selection of super trendy clothes for ladies - from bustiers, to shiny pants, to fishnets, to cheap cotton camis, Tshirts and pants. It's truly a treasure hunt if you don't think at all about the cheap labor that went in to producing all this stuff. They also have incredibly fun shoes - platforms, pumps, stillettos, knee-high 'converse' (including a leopard print ), fake birkenstocks, fake Toms, and i'm pretty sure it's all vegan 'leather' too. I have to admit I've never seen high heels for the elementary school set but they have them here. My $1.99 earrings were 'lead-free' but did have a warning on the back that they contained certain materials considered to be hazardous in California. Needless to say I am wearing these once and that's about it. I know I know mixed review but it's really a fun fun store, super nice staff that didn't even smirk when I took my silver mylar 'leggings' (XL) to the dressing room. (Yes they fit. Super hot trends for cheap...if you are plus size or have the body of a 12 year old girl. Don't get me wrong, the styles and prices are great, but I can never find what I like in my size, and I'm the most average size for women in the world; an 8. On my last visit I found a Juicy-like Sweatsuit for $15. At least velor material stretches so I could fit into that. However; when I got to the register, they charged me $20. When I questioned the $5 difference, they gal at the register explained "More material cost more money". $5 wasn't a big deal and I still bought the sweatsuit, but I argued that they needed to post that on the rounder they were hanging from or change the tag on the sweatsuit itself, because it was "mis-marked" at $15. Nothing like being told that the size you wear warrants $5 more material than the one size below it. Anyway, the store has tons of shoes; not quite as cheap as the clothes but you won't get charged extra for larger sizes. They have a lot of accessories too; not limited to jewelry but cell phone covers and Hello Kitty stuff (Chinese souvenir trinkets you'd find on the streets of any major city) The right half of the store is men's clothing. Most of it - from what I can see - is Large, XL, XXL & XXXL. We're talking baggy, baggy jeans and over sized t-shirts and sports jersey's. If you are a man that isn't shopping for a "Boyz N Da Hood" look, this ain't your place. I'll be back then next time I'm driving by. Great for trendy clothing if you're a extra small to a large. The Plus size area is okay but leaves a bit to be desired. The shoes though! Oh the shoes! Need trendy shoes for the season? They will have something for you and the clearance on shoes is great too. I got some super cute heeled boots for $10.00. Their men's select is huge, so is their baseball caps. If you like the Love Culture store in the Clackamas Town Center, Top to Bottom sells the exact same ladies clothes, but maybe a few dollars cheaper. I never thought this place was extremely stellar... It's a good deal on clothes, but it's a little chaotic when you try to shop around... But this past week, I went in looking for a paticular shirt. The girl working there was extremely helpful. It was almost liike she makes commission, but I know she doesn't. She was just THAT helpful. This store just sorta makes you feel fat in general. The aisles are extremely tight in some areas because you can tell they're trying to lay out as much product as possible. AndI'm not a huge girl, but I'm not a small girl. Their sizes run small, so I feel like a fatty when I'm shopping for 1-2 sizes bigger than I normally wear... But that's fine by me if you just like cute things at a low price. read more

Never will I spend another penny in this store! They refused to exchange a brand new pair of shoes saying they were worn!!! My daughter bought me a pair of shoes for Christmas on the 24th. I put them on 12/25. After walking around the house realized they're a size too small. Store was closed due to the holiday & I went the next day to exchange for bigger size. I was refused as the girl said they're dirty & obviously worn. Yes I wore them for an hour in my home!!! So ridiculous & from the sound of the reviews this is common. Top to bottom sells defective product and then refuses to refund the purchase. My Chinese exchange student bought a pair of shoes that fell apart the following day. The retail prices are very reasonable. You got choices from pants, dresses, shoes,t-shirts, sweaters, thermals they all vary from $10-$30 depending what you buy. Plain colored beanies are $2. Ok, I initially wrote a somewhat review in the talk section of yelp- wrong place. I will never shop at Top to Bottom again. They sell low quality clothing that fades, shrinks and basically falls apart. They give you the smallest so called receipts and expect you to be able to find them for returns or exchange, which is out of the question if it has been over 7 days. There are restrooms but customers are not allowed to use them, so do not eat or drink anything before you go there, unless you know exactly what you want and are running in and out. They accused my husband of stealing a $7.99 shirt he presented the receipt and was humiliated in the parking lot and they proceeded to bring the actual cashier outside to verify the purchase, and she was completely lost and could not state he purchased the shirt and since they did not speak fluent English it was pretty hard to debate the facts with them. HE HAD THE RECEIPT!!! We have spent up to $400.00 in one shopping trip for our family at this store and it leaves a bad bad taste in your mouth to be called a liar and a thief. Bottom line Top to Bottom is the bottom of the line in clothing and customer service. read more

Top to bottom employees are horrible!! there mean! rude! they treat and talk to you like piece of garbage! I came 30 minuets before closing time and they refused to let me in, i had to argue with them that there's still have and hour left. When they let me in i was pretty fast about 10 minuets at most i just needed a dressy shirt for an occasion tried to go in to the fitting room which they also didnt let me they told me to try it on there and the cashier the bitchy mexican girl was just EXTREMELY mean and rude i came up to the cash register she just ignored me and kept on talking to the other worker, when i asked her to please check me out she was very rude and threw my clothes in the bag, threw my change back at me and shoved the bag at me!
