So the vibe of Plant Daddies is AMAZING. They are definitely more expensive than the big box places…read morelike pikes, lowes, or Walmart, but they also don't give you pests and you're not likely to find a 'rescue' with them. They have an awesome selection of pet-safe plants. All three guys are super friendly. They are committed to their community and almost always have cool events. My only complaint is that I already have most of what they sell, so until I really save up for the Monstera Mint they have, I spend my time perusing the merch.

The expertise that the Plant Daddies offered me while assisting me on choosing my plants was some of the best customer service I've ever received. Educating me along the way, asking detailed questions about the sunlight in the room where I would be placing the plant to finally helping me to make a very informative decision on my plant purchase. Once I decided on my plant and container, they offered to plant it for me while I paid for my items. I felt very confident that I could help my plants grow with all the information the Plant Daddies provided me. They even told me if my plants begin to act or look strange, I was welcome to bring them back into the store for the Plant Daddies to evaluate the possible problem. There are so many plant choices to fit any budget. This store is BEAUTIFUL! The energy is so calming and very positive. I could have stayed for hours just talking about plants and hanging out. The Plant Daddies have developed this store into such a creative space and stocked it with such a large variety of exceptional plants, pots and other fantastic retail gifts and items. I've already visited this store twice since they've opened and I just keep sending people to see it. Take a look at some of my photos and admire the beauty. Go get yourself a plant and meet the Plant Daddies. They are awesome!

I've seen the sign for this nursery on Highway 92 for quite some time and always wondered about it…read more It seemed like an odd place to have a nursery, about 2 miles down a residential street. I heard through word of mouth some good things about this nursery, so decided to give it a try for some fall planting needs. I was super impressed by the nursery. First of all, it's in a really beautiful setting, back in the wood, and almost seems like a botanical garden instead of a nursery. It covers a huge amount of land with a lot of plants spread throughout. The selection is excellent. I looked around at the azaleas, for instance, and there were loads of them, all looking very healthy. The prices were $19 each, which is a really good price for a relatively large and healthy azalea. There were also loads of trees, shrubs, and everything you could want. The property was so huge I didn't really have time to walk through and check out all the offerings. The staff is very helpful and guided me to get some good planting mix for the pansies I bought. I got two flats of pansies for $18 each. Each flat had, I believe, 18 pansies in it. They were very healthy and large, and better quality than what I have bought from Home Depot or Pike's. All are doing very well in my garden now. One thing to watch out for is that the nursery sits back from the main road, and is accessed by driving over dirt roads. They were running sprinklers when I was there, so the roads were a little muddy. You wouldn't want to go there if you just washed your car. Any serious gardener should really give this place a look.
