Pros: -Wonderful selection of plants that offer a lot more variety than the big box stores. -Best selection of faux succulents I've ever seen (and merchandised beautifully, too). Cons: -Price. Wow. I looked at multiple items that were 50-200% more expensive than I would have expected. -Service. I wandered around aimlessly for some time. There were easily enough employees working to individually help each customer/group in the store. However, I was not greeted or acknowledged or asked if I needed assistance. Though the selection and convenience may bring me back into the store in the future, the price will definitely hold me back from visiting more frequently.

That was a great advise. She even opened a box of Christmas tree lights to show me how to do that. Her willingness and knowledge to take the time with a customer was very well appreciated. She called around to about 5 or 6 locations in the Chicago neighborhood we would be sending this arrangement to so she could find the closest fit to the container we wanted for the flowers. This took a while to get just the right container. Shirley was so pleasant to work with and her comments and suggestions will make our friend smile when she receives this arrangement. We would gladly return to Dixie Florist to work with Shirley again. She made our day today with this experience.
