Let me start by saying I'VE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE IN A STORE!!!! Walmart by far is the worst place to do an online order with. Right as we speak they have a temporary hold on $277.12 and have had it for about 7 days now. It takes 10 BUSINESS days for the hold to fall off. How is it the customers fault that Walmart didn't have the item but online it stated that they did. Also, everytime I place a food order it's always missing items but Walmart wants to say it's NO WAY items are always missing smh out of 5 orders at least 3 of them will have missing items or items that makes no sense to substitute. I've also contacted corporate cause my daughter placed an order on my account right before the snow storm and the cancelled it the next day and I called in. The representative told me they had no availability for deliveries and as I was telling him that it was no my fault that my order was cancelled cause I placed it the day before and it was suppose to be delivered the day before. He told me he can cancel the order which was $154 and of course they would hold it for 10 business days, I told him that wasn't an option cause I was in Miami working and I had to get food to my house in Texas for my kids burning the snow storm. The representative offered me a $10 coupon off on my next order and I told him sorry but that won't feed my kids and he stated FOODSTAMPS won't either.... Excuse me! My daughter place the order with her food stamp card which she lives with me and is in school for forensic science and gets stamps for her and her 2 kids but why was my payment of method brought up in this conversation. I placed an email and called to corporate over a month ago and still have yet to hear from anyone. Everyone is cancelling target but should be doing this with Walmart cause they are by far the worst. Wanted to add that I personally was buying multipack of storage containers. They had 2 rows of these things in this wrong place so price was wrong too. I just thought price was decent. My cousin did too. We both had 1 pkg which was like 3 bins shoe box size. I took a picture of product and price on shelf. Walmart supervisor ran to this area took the price labbels down said a customer must've took it down and denied touching it and told me regardless of photo proof of how it was listed it's not like that now so they allowed my purchase but declined my cousins then accused us of moving items like that. well, we ordered a TV a Saturday morning to be picked up for Sunday morning which will be ready before 11 o'clock. We get to the TV and they say that we've been refunded because they didn't have the TV in so we go inside and look and it's a whole stack of the TVs. We ordered in the center of the floor and on the wall we're trying to figure out why wasn't TV if we ordered it and y'all have it in stock nobody had any answers. They told us that we had to call a one 800 number so they can explain the same stupid stuff to us that they had explained and we will have to wait five days for a $700 refund. Just got done shopping and went through the scan and go aisle, and the woman who was assigned to watching the lane was standing right by my side in my personal space. She did not give me enough room to scan and bag my items. It was a violation of my personal space and my PTSD almost kicked in. Pls let her know that she needs to treat all customers the same and not get close to the black shoppers only. Also pls let her know to give us space to breathe and shop. I told Monica the manager but I don't think she is going to address it. She apologized and then went on doing whatever she was doing before I spoke to her. This store is terrible! when going in for an oil change the signage says open at 7:00am, only to go in and no one is there to operate. Call into the store speak with a manager and ask what time they open and told 7:00 or 9:00, but not sure. How in the world does a manager of a store not know when an area under their leadership is opening? Leadership starts from the top and from what it seems this store does not have it. I must publicly share my dissatisfaction with this location. I generally do not write a bad review on one bad experience at any location. However, when there seems to be a pattern of poor or deceitful practices, service or quality, I feel the need to share with my fellow Yelpers, so you can make an informed decision before spending your time and money at any location I review. The incident I am going to share has happened to me at this location on multiple times which has caused me now to drive to Terrell, 10 minute drive or Rockwall, 20 minute drive, for satisfaction. My purpose for my visit was to buy some Lucas wax. On my way to cash out, I saw the numerous displays of back to school supplies and decided to go on a hunt. I am a white collar worker and go through pens, like I drink water-OFTEN-and decided to purchase some quality pens. Usually around this time I receive HUGE savings on the style of pens I like to use. I am not stuck on any brand just the size of the pen I value, blue or black ink. I found a twelve pack discounted for 4.98. The sign read, "Rollback Savings." I go to the self checkout. Stand in the slow lines which is often a norm at this location at 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday. Once I scan my two items, it came to $19.00 and some change. I know the wax was $8.00 and some change and the pens were supposed to be $4.98; therefore, I knew this was not adding up correctly. The staff working that area had a yellow vest on so I thought it would be to my advantage. I signaled her to come over. She walked over immediately and asked how she could help and I explained the price difference. The $4.98 pens rung up for $9.00 and some change. The staff member said, "If you want to wait, I can call someone over to do a price check. I can't leave the area, but I can get someone over." I told her I would wait and she buzzed someone. The wait for another staff member was not near as long as the wait to checkout. Another yellow vest employee (assistant manager I think they are) came over to assist. I told her what the pens price tag is showing up on the shelf and how much they rung up for. She and I both walked over, I showed her the rows of pens that I grabbed the pack from. In plain view, the pens appeared showing $4.98. She began to start checking labels around those pens to match the barcode and found the barcode three set of pens to the left. She stated, "These are the pens which also had pens in the wrong location because the ones showing there were not the same as the ones I had. They are $9.98." I stated, "So why are these pens here and not there." Another customer butts in and said, "Because people place things wherever they want." I look towards her thinking-what does that have to do with me. In any event, the staff member repeats herself and ask me if I want them. I told her if she isn't going to honor the price of what is displaying for the pens then she can take them off. She didn't honor the price and the pens were taken off. At EVERY Walmart I have gone to, if the displayed price is wrong, the staff honors the displayed price and moves the item to its correct location. It is not my job to read barcodes to ensure the prices posted are the prices I am going to pay. I have lost money at this location for this very reason. I checkout-receive an outrageous total-go to my car and analyze the receipt to learn I was charged for items at a different price posted. Due to me not wanting to go back and stand in the long customer service line I leave it alone. When it happens on a regular basis, there seems to be a plan to deceive customers which is not cool. When shopping at Walmart, check your receipt. Know if you are charged the wrong price at MOST locations and they see it, the displayed price will be HONORED, but the Forney Walmart will not. It's the customers' responsibility to read the barcode and decipher the price. (Insert sad face here.) read more

All too often we the public are quick to criticize bad customer service and yet, we rarely speak up for those that consistently do it well! Shout out to Robert in the Deli. He knows his job and is happy to help me every time I come in. He goes that extra mile. Same with the cashiers! This store is AWFUL!! I usually don't write reviews, but felt it was necessary given the circumstances. I've gone to this store several times and they NEVER seem to have the items I'm looking for. If they show something to be in stock online, you get there and they either can't find it, or someone "can't find it". Above all, there co-manager and store manager are two of the rudest, most nonchalant managers I've ever encountered. I don't know about others but I value my money too much to waste it here on bad customer service. There are many other places to visit which are probably nicer and less of a hassle, so Walmart will now have one fewer customer. If I could give this Walmart zero stars I would. The customer service line for returns was 1 hour long. The checkout lines (all 4 of them) were 1 hour long. This Walmart is severely understaffed. When I went to politely ask if there were any available cashiers to help with the customer service line that was so long it was almost out of the store, I was rudely yelled at and told there were no more associates to help. I get it, but my 30 minute Walmart run ended up taking close to three hours. read more

I called today and was called the N word (with a hard r, mind you) when I informed them that I wasn't able to pick up my order yesterday. Can I write a book? Every time I come here I leave angry and/or disappointed. I just tried to buy fabric and was told that no employees in the store know how to cut it so I have to come back later. What???? I made a specific trip to buy fabric for a costume I need to make for my daughter after I got her to bed. I get that it's probably usual for someone to want to buy fabric at midnight, but to refuse to sell it to me is unfathomable. There's no sign anywhere stating that they don't sell it after a certain time and I even begged to just be allowed to cut it myself, but they just didn't feel like it so I have to waste more time an come back. The worst thing was a couple of months ago though- Lord this place is horrible. I went in at 3am on December 22 at to finish up my Christmas shopping without having to deal with a ton of people. I found some random stocking stuffer things in the toy section makes at .97. There were several of this item(that anoying slime stuff that all of our kids are obsessed with right now) and they were clearly stocked in front of that price sign by an employee. Now I do know it's Christmas and crazy things can happen so I went ahead and pulled up the Walmart app to verify the price but it kept saying it wasn't their system. I flagged down an employee and he couldn't pull them up in his scanner either. I asked him to call a manager so we could figure this out and he told me I would need to go find her myself because she was too busy to come back here. Umm... ok... I shop for quite a bit longer and then go to self checkout to find out the price. *shockingly* the employee at self checkout said it wasn't in the system and there was nothing she could do. I insisted she call a manager and said I was happy to wait and she begrudgingly did call after rolling her eyes at me. While waiting for said manager she pulls the items out of my basket without asking and tells me to "go shop more" and that I can't stay up there and wait. By this point I was so angry I could spit so I did walk away so I could calm down. I walk around for another 30 and when I get back to the front she is gone, self checkout is closed, and my items had been tossed into the bottom of the go back cart. read more

I do like this WalMart very much. The stars I'm giving today are for the technician in the automotive department named Terry. He worked on my car even after it was done. He took a second look cause they didn't note that they had checked something. He went out in the pouring rain and moved my car back in the bay and took care of it. I do drive out of my way to go to this Walmart and I will continue to do so. Need more employees like Terry in the Automotive department. Thank You. Oh and I must mention Ralph. So terrible, I had asked the lady i forgot her name because i was so mad i asked her for 1/2 inch off the sides of my head for a hair cut and she took off a good inch and some inches and some and then cut off my top hair another 2 inches and i was furious when did i mention that i waned my top of my head cut the lady did not listen at all and did a terrible job. The lady was a blonde hair and latina and if you ever get her i strongly recommend you get out of her seat and walk over to the sports clips. It's a terrible place to receive a hair cut. Pros - Great customers, most children well behaved, most adults bathed. Cons: 1. Lack of floor staffing. 2. Lack of registers opened. 3. Lack of product on the shelves. 4. Shopping carts not maintained. 5. Lack of thought given to presentation of what merchandise is available. As noted in other reviews, once product runs out it stays out. The lines to check out are always terribly long due to a general lack of open registers. What product is available often looks damaged or abused or unclean. The shopping carts...that should really be the first sign that you need to go somewhere else. It is almost as if they got a discount on shopping cart wheels that are square. You have to hunt and hunt to find a shopping cart that will roll smooth, and then you will discover that the one that rolls smooth is bent and you get to push it at a weird 15 degree angle. WHY AREN'T MORE PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SHOPPING CARTS???? I would almost say that this particular Wal*Mart is a corporate social experiment being conducted on the unsuspecting citizens of Forney, Texas. There are so many flaws with the way the management runs this store that it has to be by design. read more
