Horrible. I'd much rather go to Kroger or Brookshires and get a pleasant shopping experience than go anywhere near this place.

I went to have my oil changed and have had it changed here at this location prior only to have them use a different type of oil with out my knowledge this particular time and it cost more. I went to pay and they tried to charge me Double the amount I was supposed to pay and the employee at the register said that I would have to go get the other employee whom actually changed my oil to okay it before she would remove and not charge me. I do Not work for the but I did not want them to charge me for NOTHING! It was a simple mistake by another employee but she was still insisting on charge me! Be careful when going to the Automotive area. They will rip you off if your not careful and making sure they ARE DOING THERE JOB RIGHT!! This is B.S.!! read more

With frequency you have more opportunities to grade a particular business. The Pharmacy is too slow. If the prescription isn't ready the line is too long to get the prescription. As for the rest of the store below average. Express lane is seems to always be slower than any other lane. The customer service desk isn't a option. Kids run and play there. Zero sense of urgency. Surprisingly customer service desk ran by teenagers.After 8pm don't bother. read more

Very clean, things are easy to find and the workers are usually very eager to help you.

For a Wal-mart, this store is actually very clean and organized, and we can usually find most of the things we need. However, they are very bad about selling something for a few months to a year and then not selling it again for a long time, or switching it out for something more expensive. We used to buy some of those frozen italian dinners, but all of a sudden they stopped selling the kind we bought and we haven't seen them in the store since then. They are usually good about having enough registers open on the weekends. But, sometimes during the week, the lines will be backed up because they only have a handful of the regular lanes open. read more

My opinion - veggies are mediocre, if they even have what you want (they were out of celery stalks for six weeks). Corn on the cob often looks rotten and dry. if you go there one week, and go back the next, a lot of times items are moved around and no one knows where they were moved to. Can't wait for the new Kroger to get built - then bye bye Wally Mart ! read more

This is what you expect from Wal-Mart. Cheap stuff that you have to buy, but the checkout is always a bit of a challenge. Since Kroger opened, the lines haven't been quite as bad, but it's still not great. I would never buy produce from there, it goes bad in less than a week. Everything seems to be stocked well for the most part, and the discounted items can be marked way down (you just have to keep an eye out). Definitely be careful checking out by the auto area. You can be left waiting for a really long time before someone will check you out or open the door. Overall, it's just a regular WalMart. Nothing fancy and just as expected. read more

I am a Forney resident originally when this Wal-Mart Store opened it was the place to be clean aisles, great customer service & it was a great place to shop. I often invited my family to come shop at this location, because it was 5 STAR. I have been disappointed with the customer service overall. The people stocking the aisles cannot provide direction as to where to find items, it could be because they are constantly moving items around the store a hide n go seek kind of thing. The staff is constantly changing so you can see why it is hard to find good help. The managers can be found walking the aisle but ask them for help and they just refer you to the next person-poor example for employees. I recently lost my iphone6 at this Wal-Mart in Forney, after handing my cart to an employee lining up the carts. As soon as I realized it 10 mins. later I left I logged in to my find my iphone app. which revealed it was still at the Wal-Mart. I called it and it went straight to vmail-strange. I never turn off my ph it had 43% battery. I refreshed my app and it was offline now- wondered if if the cart employee found it since it was placed in the front of the shopping cart which he was hanging on to when I gave him my car. I jumped in my car and drove back to the Wal-Mart in Forney with good thoughts of maybe he turned it in. I asked the customer services people just peered at me and said "no one has turned in a phone sorry". I asked about reviewing the security cams because evidently someone has it as the phone was turned off. They told me it was not possible without the police to request to view them. Since they did not offer, I asked if I could leave a contact ph#, they cut some register tape & took my #. I walked up and down the area of the cart, the cart storage area where it was taken to, then outside of the store. I asked the automotive people working outside (these were the nice employees that tried to help, they are the reason for the 1 STAR indicated.) I filed the police report nevertheless. I called a couple times the next day so see if anyone had returned it. After holding for over 10mins. someone finally responded and said they would have to check with someone else. Another 10mins. went by finally another person confirmed no new findings. I call everyday hoping someone will return my $600.00 phone and restore my faith in the humanity of the employees at Wal-Mart in Forney. Be aware, it was considered stolen when that person knowingly turned off the phone & took it. I wonder how the Wal-Mart Corp. feels about anyone walking out of their store with electronic merchandise that costs $600.00, Guess it's ok if its their customer's belongings its not worth reviewing cams to help a customer. read more

I my rating is based on one visit out of many I make very month I use to be okay with their service even though is not always good neither what I expect. A few days ago I went to pharmacy while Picking up a prescription a roach show up to on the counter the person at the pharmacy killed it and about a minute after another one showed once more she killed a reported to a manager by the name of Terrez and assured me they will contact pest control. Don't know what they will do but I'm concern this is my store also today I met a young woman that told me she was told last year by a friend that work at the subway inside the Walmart that her friend told her a similar story at the end of last year but inside subway. I am giving this Walmart 2 stars because the store is clean and they usually have plenty of registers open so you don't have a long wait to checkout. Those are the only things I like about this store. They are always out of things. Here is the worst part. If they run out of something they fill that slot in with another product. Since the slot is full they don't order the product they are out of. See how this works, or doesn't work I should say. Let me give you an example. They have been out of the 100 calorie Ritz Crisps Crackers for at least 6 months. I promise you I am not exaggerating. They have filled that slot with Cheese Nips. It has been that way forever. We have gone through this same situation with a lot of other products. They used to do the same thing with lemon instant pudding. My husband kept moving the french vanilla pudding they filled the spot with and they finally ordered lemon again. It took a couple of months but it finally worked. They were out of powdered sugar for so long I started thinking there was a shortage. I went in one day and some one taped a note to the shelf that said "Please Order More Powdered Sugar!". Now is that how you should run a store like Walmart? It is ridiculous. We do the majority of our shopping at the Kroger in Rockwall now. It is 20 minutes away and some of their stuff is more expensive than Walmart but they double & triple coupons and they have what we are looking for 99% of the time. It is worth the drive and extra money not to have to deal with the craziness of the Forney Walmart. It is a shame such a big company can't figure out how to run their store properly. By the way, I have had a lenghthy discussion with the corporate office and a manager at this Walmart. I gave them a list of items so they could check to see what I was talking about. They confirmed what I already knew and said they would fix the problem. They fixed those particular items but now I have a whole new list. They just don't get it. Disgusted with how I was treated by management! The employees are okay, seem to hate their job. I've lived here my whole life and came here over a year ago to get some groceries, as I was leaving a manager came up to me and forced me into his office, accusing me of stealing!!!! They took my purse and went through it all (and found nothing of course) refused to show me footage that made them think I was stealing, and still took down all my information saying I'd get a letter in the mail for what I had to pay them!!! No cops got involved though??? I get letter after letter for a year with increasing balance from $300, $500, $700 saying they'll sue me if I don't pay. I never replied to them and eventually they stopped, never got another letter. They were just trying to take my money, so watch out because they might do it to you too!!! The employees have told me they have been there for years and are supposed to get paid vacation, but management refuses to give them any time off. I will never go back, I take my business to Kroger and Brookshire's, where I always receive perfect customer service, great deals, and wonderful products with a huge selection! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO INTERROGATE YOU AND TRY TO FORCE YOU TO GIVE THEM MORE MONEY!! read more

Today is New Years Eve. After I spent nearly two hours in this store (where coincidentally today prices for staples like milk and bread are clearly at least doubled) I was told to stop on my way out by a store employee who was stationed less than six feet from where I checked out. I had my receipt in my hand and was trying to wrestle a cart full of large plastic containers through the door. When I clearly said "no, thank you," he apparently called another female employee (some sort of manager?), who actually came running at me out in the parking lot by my car yelling that I had to stop. Very stupid woman. I told her to get lost. She's very lucky it was me and not someone else who might have been intimidated or frightened into pulling out a gun and shooting her! She obviously needs some training, and I will be following up vociferously with all of the supervisors and the corporate office. Pretty sweet jacking up the prices during the holiday. Profit over people, right Walmart? You know what? There's a brand-new Kroger superstore right across the road. Better prices, MUCH better quality, and they certainly do not accost honest paying customers in the parking lot! Come Monday Walmart and I are going to have a little discussion. read more

I have had problems with sales items and I have reached the conclusion that the management fails to inform their people what's going on. When a store runs an ad and that item isn't in stock at 9am the day of the sale, that's poor customer service. I have decided not to shop in the sporting goods department in the future. read more

Standing in line for 15 min. Only 4 registers open with at least 4 waiting. The 4 registers include the express. Sad.....

Two weeks prior to our son's wedding I placed an order for a two-tier cake that would feed 64 people at a price of $58. The top tier was to be a light purple, the bottom tier a cream color with swirls. The cake was picked up on the 7th of July. The wedding was the next day at noon. When I picked up the cake I was shown only the top of the cake and the lady in your bakery said she was sorry but she couldn't lighten the purple as much as she wanted to. When we set up the table for the reception, the cake, top and bottom layers, were purple and not a pretty purple and the swirls were flowers. When eating the cake, our guests teeth and mouth turned purple. Needless to say, this was embarrassing. The cake that was left had to be disposed of. Very embarrassing and disappointing. Would not recommend your bakery to anyone. read more

I live in Forney and this Walmart is the cleanest I have ever seen. The employees are friendly and will help when asked. I was told this Walmart was chosen The Store of The Year in Texas for 2013 and I can see why. However, because of the congestion, it's a chore just getting in and out of the area. Also, it seems for the last few months that they are not ordering and restocking their shelves. They seem to be always out of a lot of things I need. Not sure what the problem is there but overall, this is a great Walmart. read more

I started shopping at WalMart again because of this store! I have had such bad experiences at WalMart I wrote them off for good. The stores were dirty and ghetto. I would rather pay double to go to Kroger and Tom Thumb. I recently moved to forney and tried that WalMart out. WOW! It is clean, the staff is friendly and the produce doesnt look like it is infested or decaying! It was a wonderful experience! read more

Overall, I am happy with this Walmart and it is true that the employees seem actually happy to work there and are customer service oriented (unlike most Walmarts). They do tend to have a stocking problem and like to do away with products, a lot. They took my razors off the shelf for months and then returned them at double the price! read more

I've lived here about 4 years now...I've seen this Wal-Mart go from one of the best to the absolute worse. Customer service is extremely poor. Coupons they won't take..Even coupons from the manufacturer. Hard to find someone that will help you...that is most Wal-Marts...Check out people don't know any of the store policies. I have been going to this Walmart for seven years. I get my prescriptions filled at the pharmacy. Today I went in early because I have three pukey kids at home. I need to grab juice, Pepto, cleaner and several other things. So that I could sanitize my house and take care of my kids. Left my husband at home with the kids. I took his Credit card. I've used it there numerous times specifically at the pharmacy in the last two months at least four times. Cashier asked for my drivers license and gave it to her and the card. The last names on both are the same first names or not because it's my husband's credit card. I had $217 worth of merchandise. They would not let me check out. She called over the manager and she still would not let me check out. This is ridiculous. Just spent an hour running through the store use that card because of the emergency card I didn't have any other cash on me. I'm probably going to move my prescriptions to a different pharmacy now and not go there at all. Very frustrating!!!! So I had to leave everything and go across the street to Kroger gladly took my card. And they will get their money without any issue. "Walmart" Just lost a very loyal customer. read more
