I love this store and would give it 5 stars, IF EVERYTIME I check out it didn't take an eternity! This store has a real problem with lack of customer service when it comes to checking out. She had to call customer service two times to verify information on my account and took time to take care of my problems! Please give her a star by her name for today and buy her lunch! First time visit before Christmas last year, bought a sweatshirt, looking around for checkout, couldn't find one, asked someone they pointed me to the ONLY ONE CHECKOUT REGISTER in the store? Crazy! This trip was no better. 2 overwhelmed ladies working. We were 2nd in line and it took about 10 minutes to check out. LADIES DON'T BUY VINTAGE purses from Belk. My straps broke in the first month I got it. The lady said soooo sorry no exchanges or refund. I only wanted credit. She said there were signs. That's a lie. It said vintage purses that was it. She said you should have looked it over. Well when you pay 1057.00 for a freaking purse you wouldn't think you would have to LOOK IT OVER. No one advised me of this either. You will be sorry if you buy a vintage purse from them. Don't do it ladies!!!! I bought it in Rockwall , Texas. Their customer service is a zero. shopped the Estee Launder counter in March. Spent over $100 on a pre-sale item. it was to be mailed out on April 1st. So I don't receive the item. call Belks in Rockwall & the sales clerk who answered the phone (Lisa) told me that it was mailed & thus I needed to deal with Fed Ex & USPS. ok then can I have the tracking numbers?? Both numbers given to me are incorrect. I called back, spoke with Stacie, same rude response. o I didn't pay over $100 to Fed Ex or USPS. I paid Belk's in Rockwall!! I believe this is theft. Ordered online. Shoes arrived with No lid, box crushed, shoe bottom with hair and lint stuck. Sticky residue at the bottom from multiple stickers. None in stock at any stores near me. Belk refused to send replacement until these were received back, so I would miss Christmas and these shoes were a gift. Disgusted.​ read more

I will never shop Belk again! The quality is horrible! I bought online and tires to return to Belk store in Clarksville and they would not accept becuase it is Belk online and they are now a outlet store! Several items came damadge, one oooked like it was in the bottom of someone closet, turned inside out, balled up and horribly wrinkled, dress belt broken, the embroidery on one shirt was already coming undone. all the clothes were so thin I would have to wear shirt under it And many items has a nauseating smell. purchased one order came over several weeks in several packages. My credit card was not charged the same amount as the emails sent me. also Returns did not equal the amount initially charged. Overall this was a horrendous experience and will NEVER buy from Belk again! What happen to Belk? It was one of three stores I would buy all my clothes from! read more

I love the Rockwall Belk. We shopped there on Friday, 12/22 & the rudest employee for no reason works in cosmetics. She was rude to everyone in her path- I witnessed her reaction to several as I HAD to make my purchase with her at the Easter Lauder counter. My son & a friend went a week later & he came home with a story about this terribly Rude employee at Belk's (we live an hour away) - same one! Gosh get rid of her - she's miserable & needs to move along & find her joy - retail is not for her! read more

Went in to take an outfit back and found 4 things I wanted to buy...about 200.00 worth. Had 2 people checking in the whole store. Each cash register had 10 to 15 people waiting at it. I understand the social distancing but you could've had someone checking in the shoe department and in the make up department. Shame on you for poor planning! Needless to say I put my items back and will try again when store is better staffed. read more

I can never find any sales representatives to help at the Rockwall store. The store is deserted when you walk in, no one greets you and it is a very unfriendly environment. I wish that it was better because we do not have many department stores in Rockwall. The store has nice merchandise but lacks employees to help the customers and it has been that way even before Covid 19, maybe they are trying to cut there overhead. read more

I wanted to give a big high-five to TERRY working in the men's department yesterday. She was the only employee working anywhere on that side of the building on a Sunday evening a couple of hours before closing time. She was extremely busy assisting shoppers checking out at the register and also those browsing around the store. I would have been flustered and bitchy. She handled it with grace. My Mom and I appreciated her opinion on the fit of some shirts (buy one, get 2 FREE!) Bonkers! She was helpful answering questions regarding all the sales going on and diligent making sure items were correctly priced after scanning. I didn't see any managers around offering to help. Hmm. Anyway, they had some crazy sales and probably even more this week for Father's Day. I was impressed with some of the merchandise. Anyway, kudos to Terry! Placed an order online. Went to the store to return 3 of the items which were not as described. When I walked into the store there were 4 people already in line. I could only see 2 people behind 2 diff counters. Each person took forever for their transaction. The poor overworked lady who was very friendly was just overwhelmed. When she attempted my return the items would not return for the price I paid. She had to call a manager. Once she called the manager IVIS over I witnessed him being very rude to her. He did not want to help. While he was "helping" me he took 5 phone calls. One of them was an employee obviously calling in. During the call he was rude to that employee and explained that it was Saturday and they had "business" needs. He said they had to do $50,000 volume that day. Um, who says that IN FRONT OF A CUSTOMER? I'm guessing his employees call in because he treats them like crap. Anyways, don't think you can just pop in and make a return here. Plan ahead and maybe pack a lunch. I doubt I will be back. Their merchandise isn't spectacular enough to make up for all that. read more

Terrible store. The older employees are very rude and cranky. The store is a mess. And sick in tired of getting the ads all the time and then going in and wanting to buy a item and being told that this store does not have it because it is to small of a store!! I am a regular at this store and love the selection. It was a nice higher end store when it first arrived in the area, but now it seems like the clothing department for women is ALWAYS a mess. Too many clothes in the dressing rooms, way way too many sale racks in the middle. I would rather pay a little more for a store that is clean, organized and well stocked where I can find things. The ladies that work in women's clothing are very very nice and they are just overwhelmed. Need better management to staff store better. I will still come here to shop, but wish it was like it used to be when it first opened. read more

I love this store! I come to this belk from Garland and pass 2 kohls on the way. The brands and prices are just far better than Kohls. And its rarely busy. read more
