I sometimes come to this Walmart for money services. People have strong opinions about Walmart, and although I don't really mind the world's largest company (by annual revenue) being severely scrutinized, I've always appreciated that it represents a steady employment opportunity for a diverse range of disadvantaged Americans. I imagine greeters and cart-wranglers at your local Walmart might have a very different perspective on their employer's aggressive business practices than your hipster friend who makes annual pilgrimages to the Apple store to line up for the latest iPhone. So I don't feel guilty shopping at Walmart, and when I'm in this store doing transactions at the money services counter, I'm glad I can also shop for some less expensive alternatives to things I'd otherwise get at Costco or Target. But the main reason I'm there is for the money services, and I have come to notice a lot of professionalism from the crew that works that counter. They have a complicated set of duties and they get through them with diligence and intelligence. I've witnessed them dealing with a broad array of difficult situations and I'm impressed by the wisdom and maturity with which they represent their end of this world. But the parking lot terrifies me. read more

I was looking for a state magnetic but could not for the life of me find one, which is fine. People were still nice, the store was clean and pretty quiet. Called Walmart for a concern about a delivery missing an item. Normally the refund is initiated and you receive an email confirming that somehting has been initiated. Did not receive anything called the next day was told there was nothing in the system that the second person would initiate the refund of $6.00 and I would receive an email within 1-30 minutes I waited 3 hours called another person and this person his name was supposedlylol named SHELBY was rude and said that I was pushy asking for an email and I would get an ail within 3-5 business days i asked since when did things change he said now you are going to have to wait 5-7 business days. I asked for A supervisor and a person by the name of ARDELRAMAN A SUPERVISOR that he said was located in Egypt call center explained the situation and being told now 3 different things and all I am asking for is a email that the return has been initiated he said explain to me that they don't know how long it will take because they are not in the United States and can't talk to the other departments but It should be 1-10 business days to receive an email that it has been initiated and then 1-10 day to refund me after that I asked since when does it take that long to refund a $6 item through Walmart and he said they don't know They are in EGYPT and are just told what to say. I know this is not normally policy and I hope it was worth getting this review and using tik tok and social media to tell everyone my experience. I have multiple order from Walmart a month and it may be only one customer they lose that doesn't matter to them. read more

One lane open with a real cashier. At least 10 people waiting for that lane. Self checkout of course is open 20 people waiting for that. Two people babysitting those self checkout Lanes. Don't waste your time shopping here the customer service stinks and there's never a fast way out of here. I wish Walmart would just finally hire real cashiers. It's 8:52 in the evening pallet stacked all over the place where you can't go from aisle to aisle. I understand they're prepping for the overnight crew. I just wish that Walmart would go back to here real people to work here. There's customer service is not great, I bought a TV that costed almost $200 yesterday and it's not working. I tried calling them. They wouldn't pick up. I called them for like at least like an hour. They wouldn't pick up. And the employees are really rude. So I do not recommend going to this Walmart. read more

The only cashier that was open was incredibly rude, I believe she was at reg 6 at 6:20-6:55 that's when we were there. The store didn't have apple pay and we wanted to go to the car to get our wallet and all she had to do was PRESS A SUSPEND BUTTON; but instead she went on the speaker and called for backup ?? When we came back this disgrace of an employee woman spent more time talking and showing photos of herself to a customer than helping people check out, everyone kept leaving her register. Dumb woman wasted 15 minutes of our life that should've taken 1 minute and honestly I hope karma rams her like a semi. She was not only rude for no reason, but I could tell she was doing it on purpose we will not be coming here EVER. On the positive side, I've gotten a lot of good bargains here. On the negative side, one of the self-service check-out machines has twice taken a quarter from me, and not deducted anything from what I still owed. I've reported this problem to management, but they refused to check the machine for accuracy. They claim the machine is fine. Wait until someone comes to collect the cash. It won't balance. I had to call ahead to see whether the store carried something unusual called barkeepers friend. The woman who help me tonight was named Barb, and she restored my faith in Customer service. Not only did she look up the item in her computer, but she also checked if they had some on the shelf and let me know she could hold some for me at customer service. When I said I would be right over, she let me know exactly what aisle it was on and its placement in the aisle. My trip to the store was uneventful, and I got a number of extra things since I was there so I was a happy customer. The one thing I would do differently is to require the staff to wear masks to protect themselves and customers from the Delta variant. Having flown in, I was especially concerned about the virus and double-masked. We are all sick of the pandemic but we need to continue to take care until it's safe again. Thanks! read more

This Walmart has the worst customer service ever. And when I say that I mean AT the actual customer service desk. Every transaction you do is like pulling teeth as if the employees are told to try and deny or heavily question your transaction whether it be a return, check cashing, exchange, etc. None of the supervisors are on the same page, as I have been told different (specific) things by each and then when I come back to follow through with what they said, there is always additional stipulations. I always have to end up taking my business to the Inver Grove Heights Walmart. To add, them sales floor employees usually never know what is going on either and are either conversing in deep conversation with one another so much that they aren't paying attention to the customers needing their help around them, or in such a haste and rush to tell you "I have no idea" and leave it at that. This is all well before the pandemic started as well, but time and time again I try to give them a chance but to no avail they always let me down. You are getting paid to do your job. If you don't want to do it, I know there are people right now that would be grateful to have it. read more

I've been blinder than shit since I was a kid. So blind, in fact, that I tragically could never see why kids liked Cinnamon Toast Crunch. That being said, I've been around the fucking world to buy glasses--everything from Pearle Vision to a handful of not-so-charming mom & pop shops--and I've had countless poor experiences. Pearle Vision and VisionWorks are extremely overpriced and the vast majority of their frames feel brittle and frail. America's Best can blow a disinterested goat (see my review for details). I've been to about five assorted mom & pop shops in three different states; if you're into the idea of looking like an off-brand Harry Potter or a parolee, one of these places might be your bag. I still have a fond memory of my mom taking me to have my eyes examined at an old little shop in Virginia. The guy was pushing five bills and used a cheap office chair to wheel around everywhere, including my foot, without apologizing. When it came time to pick glasses, he handed me a dusty old box about the size of a dictionary and told me those were my choices. Small businesses aren't always as charming as they're cracked up to be. I fought going to WalMart. I dislike most everything about the corporation as a whole and I try not to spend my money there whenever possible. One day, though, I decided to bite the bullet and give the vision center a shot; I figured it couldn't be any worse than what I had just experienced elsewhere. The best way I can describe my experience is this: You know how pretty much everything in a bag of Chex Mix sucks ass? The little breadsticks are cool and all, but meh. The two kinds of pretzels can die in a fire. You trudge on thinking all is lost until a dark brown mini piece of bread emerges from the ashes like a carb-filled Jesus to delight your taste buds in garlicky blessings. This place is that mini bread Jesus, ya'll. Friendly staff, an efficient exam (the lady even told me I had beautiful scleras which I think is optometrist for "damn, you fine") and sturdy frames to choose from. I, having learned my lesson from many previous ventures, got frames with springy flexible arms that fully extend flat on both sides. They gave me a short time frame for when they'd be ready and sent me off with a smile. I picked them up earlier than expected with ZERO isses (the edges were polished, the 'sweet spots' were right where they needed to be) and I cannot tell you how deeply in love I am with them. They're easily three times the quality of any frames I've ever had, and I've worn some expensive-ass frames before. I don't even care anymore; this is exactly where my blind ass is going from now on and if you haven't already, I suggest you do too. read more

This is the worst Walmart I've ever been to, and I am from Chicago where the Walmarts are pretty bad. I'm struggling to find anything good to say about this store...it is completely unorganized, dirty/dingy, and the employees are not very helpful. I asked two different employees where bug spray was and both told me the wrong place. I never did end up finding it! Most Walmarts, even the regular ones (not the super Walmarts), have a decent frozen/refrigerated food selection and even offer at least a few produce items. This Walmart has literally nothing healthy. No wonder the US population is so obese! No bagged salads, no turkey sausage or ground turkey as alternative to ground beef or hotdogs- only a plethora of salt and calorie-laden frozen dinners and ice creams. I definitely will not be going back. Maybe Walmart neglects their stores here because Target is headquartered out of MN...I'll spend the extra gas money and find a Target instead. read more

I usually don't go out of my way to yelp about businesses, but I am hoping that someone from the Walmart corporate office will see this and spend some time there, maybe undercover?! I have been working retail for the last 20+ years of my life, I have seen good and bad guest service, but this Walmart is horrible!!!! Great guest service shows through how clean and organized the store is, and also through the small things like a simple smile from your cashier....NOT HERE!!!! The cashier didn't acknowledge us, give us our total or say thank you!!!! She acted like we were an inconvenience! I was blown away!!!!! We walk five feet from the register and are approached by another employee that asks for our receipt to make sure we are taking what we paid for???? We JUST left the register!! This is not for Walmart in general. It's just for Photolab in Walmart in Eagan. The Walmart Customer Service does not take issues for PhotoLab and this disappointed me about Walmart. This meant PhotoLab can do whatever they want without any liability. No Matter what....DO NOT USE THE PHOTOLAB HERE. The pictures did not print according to the actual files & they were useless to me. After visiting for 3-4 times & calling - I was provided just a 10% off to re-print them!!! I had to pay 90% again!!! Shocking experience. ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY. ZERO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS . Any other lab would have gladly re-printed them. Also so note that I specifically asked the person before printing if the text I wanted to be printed will come out ok. But it was all cropped off. Shitty Service. NEVER EVER USE THE PHOTO LAB HERE . The Photo Lab just abuse the fact that they are in Walmart and get a ready traffic. read more

I wish I could give -Stars. Here is my experience: Understaffed Employees who have been there so long, they forgot what customer service was. No smile, not much assistance and they appear to be okay with that attitude. If you ask where something is, they will point and then continue what they were doing. If you ask them to direct you (cause they are pointing at anything) they look at you like YOU are the problem. RACIAL PROFILING!! They follow you around the store as if YOU will take something. When you complain to management about the Racial Profiling, he hires a minority to follow you around the store. Just got back from a revisit at this Walmart, which was actually pretty happy with the result...! I have gotten good closure here, they gave us a $15 store credit for the inconvenience that was caused. I am now willing to go to this location, and they have made right by me... I was not looking forward to going to WalMart because I was afraid that they would not be familiar with doing a money transfer. I was especially hesitant, having read the bad reviews. But we had to go to WalMart to transfer money to someone out of state. Darlene was the employee at the service counter who helped us. She was great. She knew exactly what we needed, knew how to do it, helped us with each step, and was professional and friendly the whole time. For future reference, they can do a "WalMart to WalMart" money transfer for a fraction of the cost of doing it at Money Gram if you need to send more than $50. Well at least this one is open 24 hours but it's a tiny store and has no fresh food. It's missing a lot of merchandise the bigger stores have. The help is nicer but some real sketchy characters hanging out early in the morning and those small ladies that work the front alone aren't enough to deal with issues. I usually go to pearle vision, but I thought I would try a cheaper route. Well you get what you pay for. I went in complaining that my eye sight was getting worse and after getting my prescription I came home and compared it and its a lower prescription! I can't see anything with the new glasses as well! What really sucks is it went through my insurance and now have to figure out how they refund that so I can go somewhere else! read more

This location is generally clean, and with the recent self checkout lanes makes the shopping experience much more speedy. Although this location has in turn under staffed their CSR checkout lanes as well. (Usually 1 but at times 2 or 3 cashiers) This is not a super Wal-Mart and as such is minimal on fresh groceries. read more

Just hung up after being on hold for over 30 minutes waiting to speak with a manager about a return of a lawnmower purchased on Walmart.com. The mower was supposed to come with the battery, I even called customer service after placing the order to make sure there was a battery included with the purchase and was told there definitely was. When I got the lawnmower there was no battery. I did purchase a charger also as recommended by the website. Customer service was not helpful whatsoever as I was given incorrect information about the product, then told I needed to re-pack it to ship it back, but was unable to collapse the mower to fit back into the box. I was on hold for so long because I wanted to make sure it would be returnable at the store, as I had gotten conflicting information about that from customer service as well. Wish me luck, I'll be trying to return it at the store this morning assuming I can find a manager to help. This whole episode has been so frustrating I put in an order to sell my Walmart stock first thing Monday morning, because if this is how they do business, the stock is going to be having a correction soon! Compared to Target and Amazon, Walmart gets an F grade! read more
