I did notice that they were diligently interactive with me after I picked up a $100 blouse- as they should be on a busy Saturday! But I really appreciated the small talk and direction from Randie, who gave me the brief on where to find everything, and the brief on the sister store Nextdoor. This store is a bit out of my way, but now knowing what they carry I definitely see myself returning here when I am feeling like I want to treat myself. As I am someone who prides in ensuring clothes don't go to landfill and trying to reuse or recycle as much as I can (I shop thrift a lot) I was very pleased to see that they take overflow items from designers. My only bummers were when I got home, the nice gentleman at the register unfortunately left one of the security tags on a sweater, leaving me to figure out how to break it off. It happens, but gosh dang! And then the same sweater had a bit of a small but obvious stain on it. And while I know it's already deeply discounted, it wasn't in the clearance section. So when I asked if they might consider anything additional on the top, he kindly explained how the store handles stuff like this and that basically there is a waiting period of it doesn't sell. Got the suit, the pants were at least 12 inches too long (honestly comical) - I was then told they "fit great" by the employee I was working with. When I asked for them to be tailored & stated to multiple employees they didn't fit at all (nothing on the person I was working with) the manager... said no we won't tailor them (after I said I'd pay for that to be done). I proceeded to get recommendations of places to go INSTEAD of them doing a simple quick job. If you want more stress on yourself, less on them... get your suits here.

When I had a ballroom dance costume I needed altered, I decided to try Vic's. The staff were helpful. They told me to purchase the fabric I wanted to use for the insert in my dress to give myself a little more coverage. They gave me a quote on the price of the work beforehand. I came back a few days later with my fabric, dress, and a pair of pants I wanted to get hemmed. I was quoted $18 for the basic hem and $45 for the insert because a lot of it had to be hand-sewn due to the many rhinestones on it. They asked when I needed my garments by. I said no rush - I needed the dress in a few months. They told me I could pick up in a week and had me pay for the whole thing up front. I picked up a week later and everything was done very well and met my expectations. I was especially happy that my ballroom dance costume turned out well. I'm sure I will be back for additional alterations.
