William was attentive and did more than expected, to make sure that I was contented. He managed the high level of environmental stress and plethora of patrons inside the store, who needed care. Being the solo employee on hand and repeatedly being pulled in multiple directions by guests I applaud him for being the exemplary, wondrous type of staff member who does not mind going above and beyond. read more

I appreciate that Walmart is usually reliable for good value, but something was off during my visit today. When you schedule an appointment for 3:30 p.m., arrive fifteen minutes early, and still don't get any acknowledgment or service until around 4:05 p.m., it's frustrating...especially when the appointment was already scheduled in advance. I understand there was only one person working the front, and I respect that he was doing his best to manage everyone. However, what I did not appreciate was the constant prioritizing of phone calls over the customers who were physically standing in line. If there's a policy that allows that, I must be missing it, because it felt backwards and dismissive. Overall, the customer service just felt off. I'm not one to make a scene or speak disrespectfully to service workers, but the way we were spoken to as if our waiting was an inconvenience to staff was disappointing and unprofessional. We ordered 4 tires online and within less than 1 month, the tire popped on the freeway while driving home with my daughter. When I called customer service they quickly apologized and sent me the return slip and told me to go to any Walmart with an auto care center. I came here on a Sunday and pulled up to the shop, the guy outside (throwing tires from their storage bin) told me to wait and someone would help me. Not even 2 min later he tells me to park outside and I said will someone help me or do I need to go in? He just walked away I parked and brought my two daughters in (without the tire) I explained the situation asked for a refund and the gentleman came out to look at the tire. I was pulling it out of the trunk but one the guy saw that it was used, he forcefully pushed the tire back in and said I need to talk to a manager. I told him to stop pushing the tire, I'm trying to take it out, he pushed it again and walked away. I went back in with the tire and another young man helped me out. No questions asked and I got the refund. The first guy comes back and hits the co worker on the shoulder and scolds him for giving me the refund without checking the used tire or calling the manager. I felt so bad for this coworker. Finally, the manager (Mia) comes out and says they don't take back used tires. So as I already told the first guy, it is not my problem customer service sent me to a store, I had the email saying to go to a store for return. They need to talk to them because I am not driving back and forth and wasting gas/toll because they have a miscommunication. When I told Mia (several times) that the employee hit another employee she kept brushing it off. This was very bad customer service and my daughters were definitely shaken up a bit after. read more

Went in at 6.30am without an appointment. First they refused to take us saying they only take appointments and then they thankfully asked us to come in. We already had a new tire we ordered from Walmart. The person refused to replace it saying we can replace all tires or none given the condition of other tires, which was weird and illegal (found out later). They technically can give their feedback on the condition of the tires and what their suggestions are but CANNOT refuse to replace tire even if its 1 tire. We were kind of forced to buy 4, just to avoid having to drive again to a tire center, spent $600+ on 4 tires, the one we had ordered was $65. Morning service 10/6/25 was terrible!!! Waited almost 2 hours for an oil change and car wasn't ever even put on the racks. Mind you I was there at 7:15 am. I had to leave to work, the man working said we don't close till 7 come back. Sh I did exactly that. Evening service, AMAZING!! Jem and Lorna saved the day. I came back Lorna said they had three cars ahead that they couldn't do it. I explained exactly what I was told, I was heard, yes I'm sure it was frustrating for them, but Jem came out and asked what kind of car he explained why they typically wouldn't take my car but also acknowledged that the am individual shouldn't have said that. I had to make a stop at the center in Milpitas. I saw online that the schedule wasn't open until next week, but they accepted me as a walk-in. I had to get the front passenger tire replaced, and was told it would be 40 min. Right on the dot, I got the message that my car was done. Turns out my rim was dented from a previous blowout. So they had to rotate the tires as well for safety. Overall great experience at this location. read more

I came in at 9am to get my oil changed. Apparently they couldn't give me a time estimate cause it was busy. I never had an issue coming here but an associate named Ronnie in the automotive section seemed to not be in the best mood. I was waiting in line for about 20 mins just to pick up my car keys and I guess Ronnie decided to skip me and paid attention to this young black female. I didn't need to say anything because the female had to advise them that I was next in line, it was incredibly rude that I was ignored, and also she didn't appreciate him calling her "young missy". She then pointed out that he was being racist towards me and he had no comment. I just wanted to pay for my oil change and be done. I was able to drop my car off at 930am and decided to wait around the plaza until my car was finished. Turns out my car was finished around 12...what confuses me is why was there a note on the paper saying to call me around 1:30? Which I never got. An oil change with these guys ended up taking a huge chunk out of my day and overall the service of the associate was very unprofessional. read more

Ordered tires on Walmart's website and scheduled a time for installation. On that date, the status on the website changed to Delayed. I heard nothing from Walmart for 3 days, so I called the store. For more than a dozen attempts over about an hour, the phone would ring, no one would pick up, and then the call would drop after about 3 minutes. I then called the Walmart Distribution Center, who claimed that the tires actually did arrive. However, they also couldn't get through when they called the store to confirm. I had to waste another hour driving to the store and waiting for someone to finally confirm that the tires had arrived. Even though it was their error, the choices they gave me were to wait 2-3 hours more in order to get the tires installed then, or make another appointment for a later date. I did the latter, as the lesser of two annoying options. read more

As I walked up to the Auto Center Counter, an employee walked around the counter, walked right past me while looking at me, then proceeded to a locked room. She did NOT acknowledge me or ask if she could help me. I later found out her name is Parul and she had gone on her break. Parul, you have the worst work ethic I have ever seen. The gentlemen who finally came out to help me stated the Auto Center was too busy and did not have enough staff to answer the Center's phone. My boyfriend had called on many occasions and let the phone ring straight for 10 Minutes. (He was trying to find out where the tires were he ordered over a month ago.) I also called several times; the phone rang but no one answered. Let me ask you, how does one make an appointment or check on orders, if the Center's phone is NOT answered. Not every customer has the ability to drop everything, miss work and drive down to the Auto Center. Save yourself time and money. Terrible customer service! I bought a couple of tires online through their Walmart website. I called them and they told me when the tires arrive, I can call them to make an appointment for installation. The tires arrived 5 days ago. Since then, I tried calling them again many times to schedule an appointment for the installation but no one picked up the phone. So I drove to Milpitas Walmart Auto Center to drop off the wheels/tires for installation and picking them up later. I went to their front desk and got in line for assistance. After waiting for 15 minutes, I told The clerk that I would like to drop off the wheels/tires for installation. The clerk told me they would not do it without an appointment even for dropping off and picking them up later. What the f*ck! I told him that I tried calling a million times to schedule an appointment but no one picked up the phone. The clerk didn't care and simply said I can book you an appointment. I drove 35 minutes to this place just to schedule an appointment to drop off these wheels/tires! Really? DON'T bother to go to this auto center for services even if you can say a few dollars. Today, my tire low pressure icon lit as I was driving on the way to Walmart to shop. I went straightaway to the Auto Center to inflate the suspected tire but, low and behold, one of the tires was already flat with almost no air. Alberto helped with the inspection and found the tire irreparable. Romnick was accommodating enough to squeeze me into their schedule for this emergency. Luckily, I had bought a road hazard warranty for this tire last July. Hence I did not have to pay for its replacement. Thank you to this team for your kindness and accommodation. Luckily I found this auto center still open so I rushed over there and hoping to get it fixed. I arrived here at 6:23pm But the guy came out and told me they are not accepting anymore customers knowingly that I have a nail in my tire. He just said he needs to close the shop right at 7pm, and his guys are leaving. So voila, I'm here in their parking lot waiting for my aaa to come out on the spare tire on, meanwhile, I'm mad enough to write this review on them. Now I know why this auto center rated so low. Ordered tires on walmart.com and had them shipped to my house. The installation price here is cheaper than anywhere else if you bought them from the store or from the website (or else add +$10 for non walmart bought tires). I came at 9am Monday morning and was told I was the 2nd tire customer and it should take about an hour. Based on the reviews here and on google I was prepared to wait much longer than that. Unsurprisingly, it took 3 hours before they were done. It was an hour before they even put the car on the rack and it took 2 hours(!!) to install the tires. So why 4 stars? Because they are the cheapest and the workers I interacted with were nice and had a good attitude. I also knew going in that it can suck up my whole morning (and it did). Just like Costco, you don't want to wait for your car here. Its best if you can just drop the car off and pick it up later. read more

I came to the Walmart this morning at 9 AM for an oil change and tire service. They let me know that tires were by appointment only so it was best I just did the oil change. So I said OK I will do the oil change they did not tell me how many cars were in front of me, or if it was going to be a long wait they just said yes we can take you. so about an hour and a half in and I see people come and go get their keys and get their cars. So I go into online and I ask them how much longer for my car. They couldn't find my paperwork, they couldn't find my keys, and they didn't even know which car was mine in the parking lot, so the cashier told me to see if the mechanic had my car keys. I went to the mechanic and he couldn't find my car keys. So I had to go back to the cashier and the mechanic had to come with me in order to find my car keys. So the mechanic never got my keys Didn't even know I was waiting in line and they never printed my paperwork. I spent almost 2 hours patiently waiting for my car when they didn't even for my paperwork they had the sticker on my keys and I had the other copy so I knew I was checked in, but they Mr. subs on their part so I waited when I could've waited two more hours, and they would've never known why I was waiting. read more

These guys went the extra mile for me on an extremely busy Saturday. Around noon the line was almost through the door, and they initially said they couldn't help me with my flat tire the same day. But they worked their schedule around, and I had a new tire on my car in a few hours. This is hard physical work, and these guys don't make a lot of money, but they don't allow this to affect the quality of their service. I will be back. read more

I bought a full set of Pirelli P4+ tires and got them installed at Ranch Drive Walmart Auto Center. Scared by the reviews, I came at 7am to avoid waiting in the line. The place was empty. The tires were installed in one hour. That's a very reasonable time, one of the shortest in my experience. The tires are properly balanced and inflated. Why 4 stars: 1. Pirelli marks the lightest place of the tire recommended for valve stem installation. The manufacturer's recommendation was ignored. 2. The Auto Center opened at 7am but started to take orders only at about 7:15. 3. You are supposed to park your car in the waiting area, The area is delimited just by yellow lines on concrete. A sign on the nearby wall would be very helpful. read more

Terrible oil change service. I know a friend who got her change oil here. After a day the car broke down, they did a terrible job, the oil leaked. She complained but they keep ignoring it for many weeks. To make it short, they didn't own their mistake and said it's not their fault. How can it be? after they changed the oil, the car broke down and found the oil all leaked out. Then after weeks of ignoring you, they'll say it's not their fault. She remembered everyone by name and knew without asking who is there to pick up. She even stayed extra 30+ mins (she was still there after my car was serviced) to help her co-workers since they were short on staff. read more
