This Melbourne location completely restored our trust in Valvoline's service. Thomas was kind, friendly, and accommodating to us from the very beginning. When we mentioned the bad experience we'd had at the other location, he genuinely checked in on us throughout our visit to make sure everything was going smoothly. That kind of care doesn't go unnoticed. Ryan and Troy were extremely professional getting our oil change done. We let them know we were heading out on a cross-country road trip, and they made sure all fluids were topped off and the basic point inspection included in the service was thoroughly completed -- exactly what we needed for peace of mind on the road. Thank you, Thomas, Ryan, and Troy, for taking such great care of us! This location truly shines bright with service.

When my work truck started overheating only when in idle after a radiator replacement, i took it to tires plus by eau gallie. They told me that they had found that a fan assembly had been unplugged. When I contacted Greg, the store manager where they had performed the "work", he implied that I was LYING! How can they have a grown man working there as a store manager that can't even take simple accountability for an obvious mistake. I just wanted store credit for the ac diagnostic and vehicle inspection. They discounted it, but I still paid 90 bucks to find out they almost destroyed my vehicle, then they blamed the disconnected fan motor on the last people to change my oil, even though they're in completely different areas on the engine. Wow. Thanks guys!

The next day I called to see what was going on and the tech said- and I quote- "guess we were wrong it was not the struts" it was the rear end, I was told it was going to cost and additional $1100 on top of the $1400 we just spent. I feel Gattos guessed on what was wrong, no clue, just hoped it worked. I feel like no one really cared about what was wrong with my car, this was evident when i asked why the rear end was not checked, i was told because I didn't tell them it was the rear end that i said sound was coming from the front, so they fixed something in hopes it was the issue, without really trying to find out what the issues was. If they drove the car before "fixing" the car they would have heard the sound and as " professionals" been able to maybe guess a little better on what was wrong. we were taken advantage of, plus it took almost 2 weeks without my car which I was not told about, huge strain on my family/job not having a car, I let them know my frustrations and all i got was well we didn't know what was wrong, so we fixed what we thought was the issue. I am beyond furious. textbook example of BAD business, there team made a mistake and misdiagnosed the issues, why am I the customer taking the blunt of GATTOS mistakes, they admitted they thought it was the struts and clearly it was not, bad business. after multiple calls they "discounted" the second charge to $850 and made it sound like I was ripping them off. finally got my car back- the sound is gone but I have multiple warning lights, car struggles turn over and has issues accelerating. all which didn't happen before I took it to Gattos.
