Luckily we were only about 15 min away and they looked over the tire soon after we drove up. The intake manifold on my car failed 2 times (technically 3 but when my car hit 98000 miles Thorobred Chevrolet in AZ stopped returning my calls, and when I would show up since my calls weren't being returned I would see my two assigned "service" providers yell out to them but yet 4 hours later each time no one showed...until I called and said my mileage was over 100k...got called back right away). Fast forward to present day. The same exact same thing is happening to my sister's car (2014 cruze). They replaced the intake manifold last week and her car kept overheating (she has pictures). She has it towed back there the day she gets it back and they say literally word for word what thorbred told me out here. Summed up: intake manifolds that fail cannot cause an engine to overheat...which is really odd because real mechanics will flat out tell that yes, they definitely can do. Sparing the actual proof for a rating review, when a car is under warranty, GM should stop trying to pass the problem back...especially when the car has less than 50k miles on it. They 100k more to go on their warranty (which is a total joke).

I was nervous taking my 1978 truck anywhere, especially since it was running pretty bad. I had no clue what was wrong and after I ran it bone dry on gas (yes, i know) it wouldn't start. Shout out to marquette detailing as they towed it to south side's shop. I got a call the SAME DAY saying they looked at it and it just needed A LOT of tune ups. IT WAS READY LATER THAT DAY. Literally where else?!?! I know stuff like this depends on the issue, part availability etc but holy cow was I excited. I attached a picture of my invoice for anyone who is curious! The total was $656.88 Although obviously expensive and hurt my wallet, as soon as I started my truck, shifted into drive, and stepped on the gas, I knew they fixed the issues. My truck struggled going up hills (hard to drive in MQT) but now it runs SO SMOOTH. They also have an after hours pick up spot for your keys and it was very convenient, as I worked late that day. From the moment I stepped on the gas I knew they fixed it. Truly great service! I was nervous to have work done on my…read morecar because I am a woman who knows nothing about cars and I was worried I would be taken advantage of. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case. I came in for a high pitched noise some of my family members noticed while driving. They looked at the car and told me this was due to the wheel bearings on both sides of the car needing to be replaced, though it was worse on the right side. They replaced the wheel bearings on the right side first and I was pleasantly surprised when they called me back and said they had done a test drive and discovered that there was actually no need to replace the left side wheel bearings. They could've replaced both, even though one didn't end up being necessary to replace, and I wouldn't have questioned it. They did right by me by only doing what was necessary and saving me money, even if it meant they didn't earn as much from the job as first anticipated.
