A big shout out to Randy! I went to O'Reilly, and the same fellow who helped me the last visit, tried in earnest to help me again. See RON. He did not have the exact wiper because my car is new and has a new attachment. WHY do they do this? Wipers have been staying on cars for decades with no problem (just don't snap them), so why the hell do they need to confound the public with half a dozen different attachments!?? Ron tried several, intent on getting it to work, alas only not to be rewarded for his effort. I had to go to VW. But Ron is the epitome of great customer service. As another example, Ron told me if you're driving and feel a vibration, it's the snow and ice in the wheel. Sure enough, next day, I'm driving and thinking what is wrong NOW?!! Then remembered his sage advice. Once I got the embedded snow out of the wheels, all was well. Had Ron not offered that advice, I would have been spending time taking the car to the dealer. The entire appointment was exactly 59 minutes. Not only that, when it came time to pay what should have been about $60, I was told it was all covered by the warranty on my Cooper Tires. They knew they would do it for free and still treated me just as good as a paying customer. In this day and age, that's something really worth noting. As a result, I will be using them regularly from now on. Their prices are reasonable, the work good and the staff is very good. This is the type of place I'd send my mother to for her car service.
