Chance, the fitment/eye technician (not sure on the real title), is super friendly and helpful. Taught me a lot about frames and types of lenses they offer. Dr. Yelgar was very knowledgeable and helped answer all my questions. Very professional. My initial worry was that a non-chain clinic might not have a lot of eye glasses frames to select but I was thankfully wrong. They had brands ranging from Nike, Oakley, the bendable frames, Dragon, etc. I think the prices are decent, I don't have much experience though. Around $219 for my Oakley frames before insurance kicked in. I'd highly recommend this clinic! Nice and welcoming. Doesn't feel like you're being a nuisance being there, unlike my old eye clinic chain (it was America's Best in Tukwila, bleh).

In addition I will continue to share my experience here when anyone brings up local optometrist/glasses stores. I visited this location April 15 2025 for an eye exam, specifically to order contacts. The eye exam visit was decent (wait times, interactions standard) While not particularly warm and welcoming. First thing they asked me to do was to take out my current contacts. I went through the entire appt and conversations without being able to see anyone's faces. The exam was complete and I went to pay an additional money owed for co pay as well as additional box of contacts. They have to be ordered due to my prescription level and it's always taken 1-2 wks. 4 weeks later - May 2025, I kept checking my mailbox for my new contacts and they hadn't arrived. I called LensCrafters and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. 6 weeks later - End of May 2025, I call back and reach an employee who casually states "your contact order for the brand you chose doesn't come in your prescription". I asked why nobody has called me to inform me my order never went through. "I don't know but you can come in and ask". Wow. So... 6 weeks and no order was ever placed? I've been wearing the same prescription in my preferred brand for years. 6 weeks and they didn't even call me to let me know? I paid in advance. 8 weeks later, June 20 2025 I went back in to LensCrafters. Apparently everyone goes to lunch at the same time so i had to wait until 2pm when they re-opened. I asked again why nobody has called me to inform me my order never went through. Or to come in to try samples. 8+ weeks later and I still don't have 2 boxes of contacts that I paid for in April. I told my MIL about this incident in general without stating the business name. Her reply? "It wasn't LensCrafters in the mall, was it? This was especially important as I changed to contacts after being a life long glasses wearer. Dr. Lim was incredibly patient and explained everything to me in a way that made me feel comfortable choosing contacts. What's great about I Care Optical is they offer a service that will teach you how to put on/remove your contacts. Mid April my 17 year old daughter went to see her on her own (I'd had surgery and couldn't go) Dr Ahmed gave her a script and I took her two weeks later and paid and other $100 for new lenses to be put into her existing frames. We get them back and my daughter said. No everything is still very blurry. So back we go. Again Dr agmed is very rushed. Made us feel like we were a bother because she didn't do her job right the first time. She'd ask my daughter. 1 or 2 and she'd say I can't tell a difference but neither of them is clear. This went on for about 5 minutes when she decided to almost double her script. She assured us it was what my daughter thought was best. (Reread this paragraph) So we have another set of lenses made. We picked them up yesterday and she puts them on and immediately takes them off and says I'm seeing 4 of everything. So 3rd times a charm.
