Fantastic food, lovely people! I got the ultimate Wally burger and it had 1/2 onion rings and 1/2 fries on a HAWAIIAN BUN! Such a neat fun little burger shop and more! For sure a cute little unexpected superhero burger joint loved it! The fried Oreos are on the list for next time as the burger alone had me stuffed read more

Saw this place and finally made it in with my kiddos for dinner. The place looks normal walking up with what they offer on the outside. Walking inside you see their super hero theme all over the place. Super cool! They have life size super hero's through out and cool wall art of super hero's. They have a super hero movie playing on like 3 tvs. They even have arcade games. The person working the front was really nice and greeted us and showed us their big menu with tons of options for just about everyone. They have burgers..sandwiches..pizza..gyros even desserts. We tried the double burger with cheese and bacon and fries combo. The burger was so good! The Hawaiian roll gives a sweet taste. Really good. Then we got the gyro. Nice and thick and filled with lamb. I got onion rings with mine.. so was sad about them because they seemed to have been over cooked..very crunchy and dry..the kids cheeseburger was ok. Kinda plain since my kid doesn't like lots of toppings. Will be coming back to try their pizza and dessert. read more

Eh... Stopped in because of a gyro special ... also ordered a plain burger. Kind enough to wrap the thinnest patty I have ever seen on lettuce for me even though they didn't really understand lol and was charged $4 too much because the special isn't valid... she was kind enough to blame her dad and give us the difference back. :) I like to support local but it's not it my fav. Gyro was pretty good. read more

Yummy and friendly service. Setting is awesome as well. Got spicy Mike burger and it was delicious

I ordered take out from here two nights ago, placing my order by phone about a half before I intended to pick it up. The order was taken cheerfully and I anticipated no problems. I arrived a couple minutes before my 7:00 pick up time and found a line to the door of people waiting to place their order and no pick up line for previously placed orders. When I got to the front of the line I was told it would be a 15 minute wait, even though my order had been accepted 40 minutes prior. I reminded her I had called in my order that long ago and was informed "we are really busy " and "we have to take care of in-house customers FIRST". Then why take phone orders?????? My advice to the proprietor who thinks excuses are good enough: go hang out at Chick-fil-A and see how they handle 10x bigger crowds much more efficiently, including orders placed in advance. The food? Meh, I've had much better. The onion rings were pretty good but the gyros were pretty much as described in another negative review. The lettuce, instead of shredded was unappetizing chunks that made the gyro want to fall apart. The meat was also solid chunks, rather than sliced as an authentic gyro would be. The flavor was ok but the texture just not right. The tzaziki sauce was actually the strong point of the gyro. Considering the lack of customer service and the full of excuses attitude when it was brought to their attention, I have no plans for a return visit, even though they're only a mile away. By the way, it was 7:20 by the time I walked out the door with my 7:00 order. Edit: since the business owner chose to reply with excuses and comparisons to other restaurants I didn't mention, I'm compelled to counter. If you really want to do "a courtesy" tell people calling in an order that ordering ahead won't gain them anything. I ordered ahead because I had plans. Your "courtesy" changed that. I noticed you didn't reply to my accurate review of your gyro. Enough said. read more

First time to this restaurant and we love it. Such a fun place to take kids. Food was good too.

I never leave reviews but this place is worth one. Very friendly environment the food service awesome and quick. Juicy burgers and fresh fries you will not be disappointed read more

Great food, must try BLAM burger. The burgers are well made and served on Hawaiian rolls. They also have a great assortment of appetizers and desserts. The restaurant has a super hero theme. No shortage of decorations and statues of super heroes. The restaurant has marvel and DC movies playing with plenty of tvs spread around the place. Wally Burger also has a few free arcade games. Kids will love this place. Management and staff alike are nice and inviting. Great place to try with friends and family. read more

I usually eat local restaurants once a month so I decided to try this place because I heard good things about it I ordered double cheeseburger with fries and deep fried Oreos I ended up getting full with half of the burger left I finish the Oreos as I was going to bed my stomach was killing me all night I had no idea what was wrong with me so as the morning came I went to my kitchen and saw the burger I just said to warm it up and eat it for breakfast and right before I bit into it I thought nothing pink and pink spots all over the burger showed me it wasn't cooked all the way I almost threw up I went ahead and contacted them on Facebook and they went ahead and just delete my message and comment .... rude of them just to ignore me ): read more

Good but not great, definitely not the worlds greatest hamburger. If you're nearby I'm looking for something to eat it's a good place to stop but don't make a special trip. The Kings Hawaiian rolls a good idea mine was stale, the french fries were lukewarm at best looked like they had been sitting for a while tasted like it too. Just OK read more

At the suggestion I offer myself up for sacrifice from another Yelper I went here for lunch. It is situated well back from the street in a strip mall. The major tenant is Target and for spotting purposes El Paso (at least the building) is right on the corner. I opted for the 1/4 lb burger and fries for $2.99. With the addition of cheese and a shake the total came to $6.46 with tax. I was an OK burger, it came with a large bunch of fries which were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle and lightly salted. The shake came with spoon for a reason, no way could it be sucked through the narrow straw. The menu board is sort of confusing and I should have picked up one of the to go menus as I noticed many folks ordered from that. There are Gyros and Hummus which I would not expect to find in a burger shop. I noticed several of the adults ordered Gyros so maybe I ordered the wrong thing. This place is not fast. When it gets busy, the food takes longer to arrive than to eat. Unknowingly I arrived just as students from a nearby school were also arriving and even though I got my order in before them there were already several people waiting for their orders. By the time I got my meal the place was standing room only and several kids outside. I would say this is a popular hangout spot, even a couple of their teachers were there for take out. read more

After reading several other burger reviews in the area, we decided to take a chance on Wally Burger. I truly enjoyed the gyro with a generous 1/4 pound of tasty meat and a creamy cucumber sauce. My partner gobbled down a chicken tender sandwich with a side of fries. Washing it down with a strawberry shake, he was barely able to finish up his meal and the excess of mine. We would definitely eat there again. read more

Good food for the price. Got a gyro combo and a kids burger combo for just about $11. Combos come with fries and a drink. They offer coke products. The gyro meat treated good, but it was just a little dry, but I think that it is a good value for a quick bite. I'll be back. read more

I had wanted to try Wally Burger for a while, so decided to try it. It was so disappointing. My husband wanted a BLT, the bacon was essentially raw! I had added a note to make the bacon crispy. (See picture) :( I had chicken strips, poor quality. The French fries were ok, onion rings- fair quality The owner responded quickly, much appreciated. Our order was made Friday, June 8 and delivered by Uber Eats. Thank you. read more

!!!!!!!!!!---- STAY AWAY -----!!!!!!!! I've been going to Wally's Burger for over 7years. They now have new owners. I took my family for some delicious Wally's Burgers but was very disappointed to say the least. The burgers were extremely dry, plain no flavor and it was obvious that the patties were sitting for a while ( NOT FRESH AT ALL). Poor excuse for a burger the lettuce, tomato and onions were also not fresh very old. Wings were dry, hard and flavorless just disgusting. Honestly never wrote a review before but I feel the need to let Wally Burger lovers know that they have new owners and the food is not worth your money McDonald's would definitely be a better option. It's not even about the $45 I threw away, it's about the food quality for the customers. How can any owner or anybody with a little bit of common sense think it's okay to serve a family that garbage, they are definitely not up to the old owners standards. read more

Nope. Not worth the money spent here. Burgers are tasteless and dry. I was looking forward to eating here, as I have patronized this establishment many times in the past. Man I'm dying to give this place bigger reviews! Its in my list of places to revisit, but for now...3/5 is all. The French fries are crinkle and great. The Greek influence is obvious and a welcome change from the typical. Their business model is a cross between fast food, family diner, and cultural experience. It's definitely worth a trip to try for yourself. I'm told the wings are fantastic... They will be what I have next trip. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming! Lots of smiles and happy faces make for a place worth visiting often. read more

with toasted Kings Hawaiian rolls and only an extra $1 for chili this place was guaranteed to get at least 3 stars, but they decided to go ahead and throw on the amazing flavors to secure this perfect score. So I wanna start off by saying I LOVE wallyburger normally (my fav burger spot probably) & despite how bad this visit was I will be back to give it another chance. I'm giving it a 3 star review this time ( normally it's 5star) today was off the burger was dry & cold and the fries were hard and cold. I always open my burger before I even drive off because it's that good that I can't resist or wait until I get home and in that time it was already cold the burger was really dry this time and only had less than a dime size squirt of mikes sauce really disappointing considering I was sick unable to eat for over a week and this has been the only thing I've been dying to eat once I felt better and it just didn't satisfy me in any way and the pattys looked horrible I wouldn't have minded if the taste was as usual but I know my next experience will probably be a 5 star experience maybe today was just an off day I'm not sure. read more

Me and the hubs went venturing out for good food we've never tried before, found this place thru an ad online. Decided to try it and let's just say we'll be back this weekend with others!!!! First time in the joint and was pleasantly surprised, decor is childhood superhero inspired with a carnival deli board menu...my kind of place. Then the owner came out from the kitchen and must have recognized my first time clueless expression and took control, letting me know I could build my own or go with the menu items - scrumptious pictures included. I went with the gold standard namesake Ultimate Wally Combo and was happy I did. Big enough to satisfy the hungriest, juicy enough to make a mess, a sure sign of a good burger, and onion rings and fries. The fries are a good thick cut and have a crispness on the outside but you can taste the freezer. The onion rings were perfect along with the burger. Enjoyed the hospitality and hope to be remembered like the regulars that came in soon enough. I found my new favorite burger joint!!! read more

I saw this place on a facebook add and had really low expectations because design of the place and location. Its dirty and very tacky but i ordered the bacon double cheeseburger and was honestly shocked at how good it was i ended up going back in and ordering another. This is my husbands favorite burger place. I enjoy the gyros from time to time. It's hardly ever crowded and the service is exceptional.

this burgers are really good . if you are looking for real cheeseburger this is thr one. excellent service.

Wow, this place is horrible, food is tasteless and ice cream shakes are disgusting. These reviews about this place (Wally Burger 43rd and Perioa) must not be real. Service is slow and food is horrible, to be really honest I would rather eat McDonald's than to eat here again.  Food is not cook properly, it's like eating pig slop, To begin the bun of the burger "So call Hawaiian Bread" is all wet and soggy from the green-brownish moist texture lettuce with a 5-day old brown-reddish tomato on top. The beef was flavorless and extreme burnt (Char Boiled) the after-taste is kinda like a sour taste. The fries are hard, and tasteless normally you would add salt to fries after taking them out of cooking grease (inside tip).  How's can you call yourself the best burger and gyro restaurant in Glendale/Phoenix when you're not even the best in the shopping plaza, I would eat a Denny's Restaurant burger over Wally Burger any day. As someone that's work in the restaurant industry for 10+ plus I beg of you please fix your quality of food and your service. read more
