Amy came out to do our initial estimate. She was nice and efficient and gave us what we felt was a very reasonable price. We would have to wait about three weeks for the blinds to come in after ordering. We were OK with that. We got a call yesterday from Mark, the owner, that our blinds were in and he was able to schedule the installation for today, which was very nice. I did not get the name of the actuall technician and his assistant but they were very good and it only took about an hour to install about 9 sets of faux-wood blinds. We are very pleased with the final result. Just a heads up when ordering blinds: make sure you know on which side of the blind you want the wand. And let the person giving you the estimate know.

When the installers didn't install them, I called the office to find out why, only to be told they had never been ordered in the first place. That was a very disappointing surprise after waiting for installation. I also specifically requested that the installers give me about a 20-minute heads-up before arriving so I could be prepared. I never received a call--they simply showed up. Mistakes can happen, but poor communication, ordering errors, and failing to follow simple customer requests made this a very frustrating experience. Phil is gone and this new takeover does not honor the book of business they bought. I had Phil do our house in end 2023 & 2024 including a very large picture widow in the guest bathroom and unfortunately It crashed down to the floor recently and a tech came out (after several calls and emails) and said it definitely was not latched in right (which was pretty obvious ) and that it was set to far forward in the frame itself so the weight of it eventually gave and it crashed to the floor tearing the material and breaking the side plastic cap- i never touched it so they could see exactly how it came down. The tech did set the latches back & put the torn broke one back up. I spoke to Eve since then 2x said & she was looking into replacing it and would get right back to me. I never heard back even after several more emails and calls, and the tech Ray I believe was his name said he'd come the following week to at least replace the broken cap-he never came! So incredibly disappointed and sad to see this is what became of a reputable business. They lost a lot of future business not just from me but I will NEVER refer them! We get a lot of friends & neighbors who ask for our referrals on many things and they will not get my referrals to Unique Blinds! Believe me @unique blinds...... people read these reviews and word of mouth is huge here! Shame on you guys for not following through and making me waste my time -you had a chance to make right what could have been simple. They did not offer me a color choice on the top frame. When I received them, it was black, while the bottom piece was white. this clearly does not match. They claimed I ordered black. I said I was not given a choice. We went round and round. It looked ridiculous. They finally acquiesced after many discussions. I thought I would never use them again. Wrong. We did a small remodel and ended up needing to add a few more coverings in a room where they needed to match exactly. I reluctantly called again. They came. They forgot a small item at delivery and fixed with many calls (sounds familiar). Now 8 months later a chain has broken. It is "under warranty" but they are charging me $100 to "come out." I called twice and emailed once to even get this response. STAY away. They do NOT care about calling back, helping or making sure the order is to your satisfaction. They are no bargain, so keep looking.

The owner would not respond to my numerous pleas for help. There are many reputable dealers in town, but this is not one of them. They post on their website that they are BBB A+ accredited, however if you go to the BBB website you'll find that their rating is F and they are NOT accredited. Shameful and deceitful.
