Amy came out to do our initial estimate. She was nice and efficient and gave us what we felt was a very reasonable price. We would have to wait about three weeks for the blinds to come in after ordering. We were OK with that. We got a call yesterday from Mark, the owner, that our blinds were in and he was able to schedule the installation for today, which was very nice. I did not get the name of the actuall technician and his assistant but they were very good and it only took about an hour to install about 9 sets of faux-wood blinds. We are very pleased with the final result. Just a heads up when ordering blinds: make sure you know on which side of the blind you want the wand. And let the person giving you the estimate know.

They came out and measured all of my windows, but when the installer arrived, the shade for my door window was too short. The installer never mentioned the issue--I had to point it out myself. To make matters worse, there were three additional windows that had been measured, and I was under the impression they had been ordered. When the installers didn't install them, I called the office to find out why, only to be told they had never been ordered in the first place. That was a very disappointing surprise after waiting for installation. I also specifically requested that the installers give me about a 20-minute heads-up before arriving so I could be prepared. I never received a call--they simply showed up. Mistakes can happen, but poor communication, ordering errors, and failing to follow simple customer requests made this a very frustrating experience. Great install and proper light mitigation .. sleep in ! We recently had a chance to "kick the tires" on the lifetime warranty clause, having a few of our blinds "squeaking" and a few were hard to roll up. Called the company on Eagle and they had one of their install experts drop in .. he called before coming by and was true to the time guess. Ben was a pro, came in observed the issues and then went about fixing everything. He explained the why behind the what AND showed us how to fix if the noise ever returned. All in all .. great experience. The only ding was the $75 service fee which I understand .. but cost them one star in the review today :)

We finally were told the order wasnt put in their system. When I tried to get our money back, they told me the owner was out of town, a check would be cut in 5 days & would be mailed, refusing to allow us to pick up the money. If you want even basic customer service, this is not the shop for you…read more I called first to see if they could repair my blinds and how much it would cost. The friendly guy on the phone said that they could do it for a reasonable cost so I schlepped the very large blind to the store. When they saw it, they told me that because of it's advanced age, they probably couldn't find the replacement part. It would have been nice to know that before I brought it in but they said they would search their suppliers for the part. I asked if there was any other way to fix it and the somewhat snippy reply was that the whole blind would need to be replaced. Two days later, they called to say they didn't have the part and therefore no way to fix it. The blind is about 80% functional so I opted not to spend 400.00 to replace it. I picked it up and when I was ready to hang it back up at home, discovered that a crucial part was missing. This is not a part that detaches itself. I looked in my home, every where it could be but no luck so I called the shop the next morning because it obviously was there. They had managed to remove and lose a part for a blind that they hadn't worked on. The friendly guy-on-the phone said that he would look for it and I could come back in. YAY! So on my third trip to the store, I brought one of the parts I still had to match it. When I arrived, friendly guy told me that he had looked everywhere and couldn't find it and of course this is after he made it clear that he didn't think he had it at all and never did. So he went to the back and looked again (actually it was like he was looking for the first time but I can't prove that) and came back with a part that was the right attachment but the wrong color, size and shape. Hmmm. He tried again and came back with a part that was the right color, size and shape and an attachment that I had to make work. At this point, I figure I've wasted enough of my life on this project--with the exception of writing this warning for you all--so I took the part and chalked it up to a learning experience.

They did not offer me a color choice on the top frame. When I received them, it was black, while the bottom piece was white. this clearly does not match. They claimed I ordered black. I said I was not given a choice. We went round and round. It looked ridiculous. They finally acquiesced after many discussions. I thought I would never use them again. Wrong. We did a small remodel and ended up needing to add a few more coverings in a room where they needed to match exactly. I reluctantly called again. They came. They forgot a small item at delivery and fixed with many calls (sounds familiar). Now 8 months later a chain has broken. It is "under warranty" but they are charging me $100 to "come out." I called twice and emailed once to even get this response. STAY away. They do NOT care about calling back, helping or making sure the order is to your satisfaction. They are no bargain, so keep looking.
