I had Boise Blinds replace blinds in the entire upstairs of my house. They were efficient, reasonably priced, and extremely easy to work with. The cost was also literally HALF of the quote provided by the company Costco works with. Both companies offer basically the same blind, but Boise Blinds' product actually had a better system for retracting and extending the blinds. Unfortunately we did not have the level of inital service/potential customer contact expected. My husband called and received a text in return, which I guess would normally be okay, but in this instance it was deserving of a phone call. The website states that they will come out to assist with measurements and determination of product needed and all we received was a text message. How do you determine pricing over a text message with a couple of pictures to go off? Communication is key. If you are going to do business via text message, actually reading potential customers responses is key instead of asking twice for information already provided. Maybe it was an off day and not meant to be, but dissapointing all the same. read more

Austin is the owner of Boise Blinds. I texted him to set an appointment to get an estimate for Hunter Douglas cellular shades. He was able to give us a ballpark estimate over the phone based on our window measurements. His estimate was fair, he came out and took actual measurements the next day. That was February 10th. Austin told us it would take about 4-6 weeks for our order to come in. On February 21st we received a text from Jessica telling us our shades had come in and set an installation appointment the morning of February 23rd. Ryan came out right on time and installed our new shades within 45 minutes. So what we were expecting to take 4-6 weeks took 13 days! Austin, Jessica and Ryan were all great to work with. Very friendly and professional. Boise Blinds is one of only a few Hunter Douglas dealerships in the area. Great blinds at a great price. Boise Blinds service is the best. I just stumbled upon Boise Blinds through Google when looking for a company who carried Hunter Douglas blinds. We needed to add 3 new blinds. Austin (owner) immediately took my call and we set an appointment. The tech came out and was wearing a mask. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The quote came in a little high but Austin was very generous in revising as a holiday discount. We recently moved into our new home in Eagle, which has many windows facing east and west, and the sun was blinding in the mornings and evenings. We called BB&D, and in just a few days we were given samples of honeycomb blinds. They were just what we were looking for. We have high ceilings, and several our transom windows are very high up. BB&D suggested solar-powered mechanisms to open and close them, with battery-powered (rechargeable) ones for the more reachable transoms. The blinds arrived within the promised time-frame, and installation was quick and well done. The price was about a third less than we expected. We highly recommend Boise Blind & Drapery. read more
