Very pleased with the screen door. Very easy to operate and very clear, almost like it's not there

I moved to right down State St from the Local, so my parents and I have been here twice now…read more The first time was amazing food, but the service wasn't great, super rude and impatient. The reason we went back the second time was because we remembered how good the food was and how nearby it was too. The second time the food was still really good, but the service was HORRENDOUS. Brittney was such a ***** to me and my parents, my mom especially. My mom was complimenting her and something about the food, and she straight up just walked away in the middle of my mom still talking. And no it wasn't busy. It was towards the end of the night, there was maybe 2-3 other customers there. She acted like we were bothering her the whole time. Then once she'd leave us would just stand up at the bar flirting with the other guy working there and just ignore anyone else. Then on top of all of that, my dad tells me she added $10 onto her tip! FRAUD!!! I've attached photos as evidence. My dad still tipped her even though she was so rude and disrespectful. But apparently that wasn't enough for her and added $10 onto the total. I cannot believe that. And my dad tells me it was difficult to get his $10 back after calling and talking to the manager. He didn't get the name of the manager but he said that they were just making excuses and saying oh but she's our best server. Obviously not! Saying things like oh she must've just been really busy. Again, we were there when it was dead and about to close soon, no it was not busy. It's almost as if this business does this type of thing often because there was no alarm from the manager, then finally after much deliberation decided to send back the $10. Absolutely ridiculous. No : "I'm so sorry here's a free meal on us", or atleast a "here's a coupon or gift card for next time you come in", nothing. This is the type of thing that gets people closed down. We should report to the BBB. This is insane. And to not be offered anything to make it right is what really gets me. Like do they not want us to ever come back??? Not to mention tell everyone we know, etc. Yikes! And this is what we get for wanting to support local businesses instead of going to the big chains. What a bummer.

You can see from across the street how do incredible this place is. The big windows allow you to get a great idea and you are truly drawn in. There is so much to look at. SO MUCH! It's awesome. It reminds me of a honey craft type store that I would shop at with my mom when she lived back home...and the type of store we would still go to together. She would LOVE this store. However, I'm pretty sure this isn't the typical type of little craft store lol. Everything looks like a homey antique, but (and yell at me if I'm wrong) I'm pretty sure everything in there is brand new. The store is legit brilliant. You could spend a GREAT amount of time in there and still miss something haha! They have so much! Wait, I said that already, huh? Well, I'll probably say it again because OMG! So much! Hahaha! The lady working there was very nice. Immediately asked if we needed help and after a bit asked again. Great customer service. Every piece in there is so unique and wonderful. I'm don't want repeat myself too much here haha! One thing, it's a cute little store with SO MUCH (See, I keep saying it lol) and it is a north end store. So, expect to pay a little more at this place. The location, sure, but more so because of how unique their stuff is. Lots of things for all over the house and outside your house. Lawn ornaments and whatnot. Really Is a beautiful store. I'll definitely go back, I'll definitely bring newbies there because IIIIIII am no longer a newbie! My Hyde and Seek cherry is.....know what, never mind. That would have been an inappropriate comment to make hahahaha! I am no longer a newbie tho and will be so excited to show people this store because it is that great! Knick knacks, jewelry, furniture, some toys (really cute toys) home decor, and on and on is what you will find here. If you haven't been, you need to! You won't regret it! Also, it's super important for us to support our local businesses! Especially ones as special as this little store. Thanks for reading, Yelpereees! Cheers!

The OF was solid, but not the best of our lives. The complimentary rolls & honey-sage butter were absolutely divine!! For food, we ordered the Flautas Poblano, Short Rib Ragu, & the Shrimp & Mushroom Pappardelle (special). The flautas were amazing- better than any flsutas we've ever had (Mexican restaurants included!) Our 2 entrees continued to please the palette! The short ribs were super tender! The mushrooms & shrimp were cooked to perfection! We couldn't resist & ordered dessert- the Churro Waffle & OMGoodness! This was ridiculously good!

My friend and I had such an attentive wait staff and answered any questions we had before ordering. Our drinks were absolutely delicious and there were so many great options. Usually it's hard to find a drink I might like, but at Coyne's it was hard because there were too many good options. Everything on the menu sounded so creative and new. But I decided to try the spasta pesto and my friend tried the halibut. Both tasted so fresh and flavorful. Also the prices were very reasonable and the portions contained the perfect amount of food. Unfortunately, our bellies were so full after our main course that we didn't get try any of their amazing dessert options. Overall, I definitely enjoyed my time at Coyne's and will definitely be back to try more items. If your thinking our trying it out I would definitely recommend!

They just stood and stared at us not a hello Smile Nothing so I said do we seat ourselves and the short tubby one with black rim glasses said No she has to seat us , in side or out she said we decided inside the restaurant was quite empty at this point it was 6.30 , so she stood there looked around the restaurant and took us to the back of the restaurant to what I can describe as a thin small bench with two chairs I said no we would not like to sit there maybe we can go outside she had an irritated look on her face and took us outside handed the menus quite aggressive to me and walked off customer service was 0 % !!! However after being treated like that things did get better we had an awesome waiter very friendly, spoke to the young lady clearing our table again he was awesome and very friendly, our food was excellent we did have a nice time after not being treated right from the two greeters , we will come back to Maddies how ever maybe a chat to the two greeters at the front about customer service and how it is done and if they can't greet and be Happy with customers maybe put them in the kitchen or have them just clear tables because neither one of them had a personality, Short Tubby one and tall blonde Absolutely Awful.

Hallelujah... finally, a place with live music in the Boise area!…read more We literally stumbled across this place after striking out at a couple of breweries that seemed like absolute no-brainers to have live music on a weekend. Apparently that's harder to find in the Treasure Valley than good beer. Then we found this gem. The Last Call was playing, and they were fantastic. In fact, if I ever get frustrated enough to open my own brewery just to show the Treasure Valley what it's been missing, they're getting the first call. They'd be the anchor band. Great atmosphere, great beer, and--best of all--live music. We'll definitely be back.

With a couple glasses of wine ($2 off from 11am to 3 pm) our lunch could have easily qualified as a…read moreperfect "Happy Hour" menu of sliced meats, spreadable and sliced cheeses, grapes and olives, crackers and a homemade pesto sausage wood fired pizza. Should have added the home made focaccia with olio santo for $2 to the meat and cheese platter, used end pieces of pizza crust to spread the final soft Boursin cheese. There are several artisan pizza choices. The pesto sausage had lots of mozzarella, making it go down easy and milder in spice than I expected. Just right. In retrospect, it was a little too much food, we should have had the short list of Lunch Menu specials including four sandwiches for. The Grilled Chicken Caprese, the Meatball, the Chicken Parmesan and the Salumi Sandwiches all come with a choice of sides. Another possibility is the choice of salads with a cup of soup for $10 and you can add a protein including chicken grilled steak, grilled shrimp, meatballs, Italian sausage, or scallops for about $4 each depending on the selection. On the outside, it looks like a smaller restaurant than it is, they have really done a marvelous job of creating an inviting space with an open kitchen and bar on opposite side with dining in between, larger parties in another room, lots of inviting windows and outside dining in nice weather. Tall ceilings and some hard surfaces could overwhelm conversation on a busy night, so bear that in mind. Big wooden table surfaces, cloth napkins and hefty silverware. Water refills came from a bottle on the table which our server made a point of pouring as needed. Service was excellent, for example a refill of iced tea was replaced with a new glass (hate it when a server takes your drink away to refill out of site and possibly get mixed up.) On a weekday we arrived at 11:30 and got right in, however by 12:15 the inside tables were mostly full. Reservations available on-line. I had avoided going there earlier as it always seemed very busy and the parking lot was shared with other businesses. Won't stay away much longer, the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked very appetizing.

I was served a pale, bland piece of chicken that looked like the flash frozen kind you can get at Trader Joe's. The skin was not crispy at all. The chicken blended into the white plate. The sauce was not at all baked-in/carmelized. The veggies lacked flavor and had no yummy crispiness. So disappointing. I make chicken at home and rarely order it bc I can make it at home. BUT I'd get it at caci bc it was so darn good. No longer. Did I eat it? Yes, bc I was starving and wanted to fill up on protein and veg in an effort to avoid eating handfuls of unhealthy popcorn during a Three hour movie later today. Did I express my dissatisfaction when I was there? I sure did and received a "well, sorry."along w an explanation that they recently switched to a boneless hen as it saves time in the wood oven. (Nice server...manager stayed away!). Bad move. They need to return to the prior preparation. Very disappointing. I won't be back until they bring back the chicken. $40 tab with one lack luster dish and water....not worth it
