Steven Sulik is the owner and is also a Roofer by trade so you can trust him on your roof! He installed 3 "Sun Tunnels" with Solar lights plus a an Attic fan several years ago. He has been back yearly to check and clean them free of charge! Also while here I asked him to change a smoke detector battery with his large ladder, Also no charge! This year I was experiencing a water leak coming through the front wall, into my window then down to the the floor. I asked Steven to take a look with his long history of being a roofer (His father owns a roofing company as well) Steven knew instantly what the issue was and made an appointment to be out the following week. Took him a short time to remove the existing shingles, complete the repair and was done. It has "poured" since and no more leaking! Let there be light! Boise Skylight installed two solar tubes to brighten up the darkest corners of my dining room and hallway. They installed a 14" sun tunnel in the dining room and a 10" sun tunnel in the hallway. I have been wandering around my house for a few days, thinking I left all the lights on, but it is just eco-friendly, free sunshine. I cannot believe how much light the tubes emit, but they do not heat up my house like a window or skylight and the diffusers soften the direct sunshine. Paul was great at explaining the process and listening to my needs when he came over to bid on the project, and Phil and Steven installed both solar tubes and cleaned up, including running a vacuum, in about two hours. All Solar Idaho was the only company (out of 4 I contacted) that offered to instal a 4x4 skylight (other companies said they installed only 2x4 skylights). Steve and his crew did an excellent job! They were thorough, cleaned up after themselves, offered to come back for free if we weren't happy with the job (which we were), billed us exactly what they quoted us and were very nice and personable. He arrived at the time he told me that he would be at my house, and even called me twenty minutes before arriving for the job.
