Like previously mentioned, obviously Home Depot with it's spaciousness, carries a lot more, but this place bests HD in just about every other category. I've never actually left here without finding what I was looking for. And unlike HD, the employees here are friendly and are knowledgeable. The staff has always been pleasant, from when I used to come here as a kid with my father, or now whenever I come in there 20+ years later. It's almost a throwback to the way things used to be (and should still be) about them being happy to have your business. The store renovated itself quite nicely during the last maybe 10 years. I'm just grateful this place remains standing when so many have faltered to the bigger chains. A true treasure to the area.

I like to use local people so I went into this store based on the 5 star review I saw. The owner was super nice and helpful. He said to just buy whatever I thought I would need and I could return things I didn't use like unopened paint thinner and primer. I took his word for it and bought more than enough to do the job. When I finished the job I had a quart of primer and a can of paint thinner to return so I brought it into the store with my receipt and asked to get a refund for the unused products. The person in the store was not the same guy that I dealt with previously. I showed him my store generated computer receipt but it was for the gallons of paint and not the primer which I bought the day before. This guy was so horrible and refused to return the unused stuff without the proper receipt. I asked if he could call his boss and ask him if he remembered me since we had a long talk about the neighborhood. He refused and was so rude that I left the store and he actually follow me out and shouted a nasty remark at me. After I left the store I decided to call back and ask about a sale based on the order number and he looked it up in the computer not realizing he was speaking to me. Once I had that information I went back into the store to demand my refund based on the receipt number he had provided me on the phone. WOW, I thought, what a fool and jerk he was. He refused me service and was rude when I came in originally; I had to outsmart him to get my refund. What a crook! I will never go in that store again. I hope the owner of the store reads this review and FIRES this guy because he is really hurting the business.

I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the customer service experience. After…read moreexhausting standard customer service and supervisor channels, I was repeatedly denied any meaningful review or escalation of my issue. I ordered a made-to-order Hyde upholstered swivel armchair set (two chairs) in Rustic Chenille Brown on September 16, 2025, specifically to ensure accurate color matching for a full home renovation. The chairs were delivered on December 12, 2025, and immediately upon delivery it was clear that the color did not match the agreed-upon specifications. The difference was obvious and substantial. I reported the issue right away and provided clear photographic evidence, including side-by-side comparisons with the original fabric swatch. Despite this, my request for a return and refund was denied without a substantive review. The "made-to-order" label was used as a blanket excuse rather than addressing the fact that the product did not match what was ordered. Being unable to reach anyone with decision-making authority left me with no reasonable path to resolution. Ordering made-to-order furniture should not mean forfeiting basic consumer rights--especially when the product delivered is materially different from what was promised. Overall, this experience reflects poor quality control and even worse customer service. I would strongly caution others considering made-to-order items from Pottery Barn
