What an AWESOME brewery that we recently discovered on a trip back to our old stomping grounds. Situated in a large warehouse style building there was ample room to socialize and they even had indoor corn hole + dart boards. The brew was top notch and on par with most popular (and successful) breweries both here in FL. We had a great time here and will visit when we get back to the area! read more

Seriously? No wait staff? 100+ people in the bar with only 3 bartenders and the only beer menu is at the bar? What can't you print out more menus? If I had a menu to study we may have stayed for more than 1 beer. We felt unwanted and a customer should never feel that way. Cool looking place and the beer was pretty good. Step up your game and make people feel welcome. Hire a couple waitresses and put beer menus on the table. Our group of 4 would have stayed for 3-4 beers if we would have felt welcomed. But we were 1 and done because it seemed like a hassle to order a beer. read more

Great place to just be with friends, have a few good (different ales )and relax. They have done a great job with the decor, warm and inviting. Lots of fun games a human size Jenga, Corn hole, darts and board games on the tables.Lots of space for them to expand if they want. They also have private rooms for parties. We enjoy trying the different beers they brew. The owners and staff are great and totally hope they do well.Opened in an old warehouse, but they have brought large slabs of wood and made tables and bars sort of a lodge feel. Great fun!!! they also have a little wine, bag chips,. Maybe someday they will bring in a few easy appetizers as well.I have heard they have a food truck some nights, but have not been there during that time, good idea though!! As a bartender at another venue, customer service is number 1. I was expecting some vibrancy and energy from the new spot in town, but was unfortunately greeted with ... Well... Nothing. Sat down at the bar and waited almost 5 minutes to even get recognized (let alone have a beer thrown my way). With that being said, the saving grace for this place is the physical atmosphere. Just a street over from the main road, it appears to be an old cannery or something like that. Old wood rafters, big industrial fans, long log bar, bean bag game (corn hole), and ample seating. Big bay doors add an ambiance that is super inviting - if only the staff members were too! Doh! 10 beers on tap at the time of this review, which is pretty good considering they're new. Would like to see some limited release or seasonal brews come out later! read more

Local craft beer. Does it get any better? This place is awesome! With the popularity of local breweries becoming the newest trend, I was very excited to find out that one was opening in Vero Beach! They opened the taproom on June 23rd and currently offer five different local brews the building itself is very large with room to expand and the section devoted to the taproom is a very large space able to accommodate a lot of people. They even offer growlers that will eventually be available for purchase. The brews offered are: Babycakes-an oatmeal stout Sandy Feet-American wheat Our Lightest Beer-blonde ale White Thang-hoppy pale ale Single Girlfriend-grapefruit beer All of the beers are very good. My favorites being Sandy Feet, White Thang and Single Girlfriend. The atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. This is definitely a great place to meet with friends and relax while drinking a local brew. Although the Florida heat is uncomfortable, they have a lot of fans in the taproom which help. Craft beer enthusiast should check this place out. read more

Great atmosphere!! Love the scenery. When looking out the back tall roll up door there is a view of a magnificent oak tree. Beer options were really good. Bartenders were very attentive and friendly. Games to play while having a cold one. Cornhole, ring toss, and darts. The only downfall would be no AC. We went on a night that was beautiful weather but during the summer it is going to be sooo hott! read more

Really enjoyed this watering hole. A giant jenga and and ice cold pale ale ( I got a guy) was just what I needed. Love the open warehouse vibe and I think I will be back. Hope they introduce more food items in the future as they just have prepackaged snacks. read more

The beer was good, but I found both bartenders rude. There were no beer menus laying around so I went up to the bar to get one and the female bartender told me I "couldn't stand" there. I asked her where do I stand to order and she then took my order. Very flippant. Then, I wanted to try a dark beer and went to the same spot and now the young male bartender said I couldn't stand there. Very confusing. Maybe a clear spot that patrons know where to order. Rudeness to your patrons is never acceptable. I left. Also, a whole table near me left because of no food. Maybe a couple more food trucks on days that are busier. read more

New brewery in Vero Beach and there aren't many of them, so hope they do well! Beer was great and the variety was fairly extensive - from pale farmhouse ales and Saisons to dark brown ales and barley wine. Pretty good deal to get a flight of 5 4 ounce tasting glasses. Bonus for being dog friendly. Eager to see how they expand since judging by all of the equipment in the place, they're making quite a lot and looks like they might be bottling soon. read more

Couldn't ask for a more amazing and unique place to grab a drink! Built in a warehouse with amazing attention to detail (bar and tables made out of wood) Walking Tree is one of the coolest bars I've been to! 10 different beers on tap between $5 and $6 for a pint! Jenga, darts, and a few cornhole boards make this place a great spot to hang out with friends. For as great as this place was there were a few downsides in the customer service department. You have to go up to the bar to get the drinks yourselves. I never have a problem with this at all, but with 3 bartenders behind the bar I find it inexcusable I had to wait almost 10 minutes to even be acknowledged (smiled at them, had my credit card out, and even tied to wave one down). Everyone seated at the bar already had drinks and I was the only one standing. At one point another women stood on the other side of me and the bartender immediately greeted her and asked what she wanted to drink. I interjected, which I NEVER do, but considering I had been waiting there I nicely said I was here first. The bartender looked at me, looked at the other women, and the women said "it's ok, she was here first". Now I'm thinking if they women hadn't have said that I would still be waiting. The bartender, who then look less than thrilled, asked what I wanted to drink. The eye roll I received was less than professional when I asked for a flight of beers. It was very prominent they took care of the "regulars" first and everyone else second. The place has no AC at all. There was a little sitting area off to the side that was enclosed that did have AC. There are large industrial fans spread around the bar, so if you grabbed a seat near one you were golden. read more

This Brewery is very lively and fun! Seemed to be the most happening place in Vero from the 2 days I was in town. People of all ages were there having a great time. The atmosphere is great, the interior design utilized a lot of adaptive reuse in their furniture and decor. I am not a huge fan of beer but I really liked their grapefruit radler! Very cool local brewery! The location is awesome, I loved how open it was. It has a few bored games, corn hole, giant jenga, and a few TVs for entertainment. There is no AC, but we did happen to come on a more windy day so this wasn't an issue, however, I did see they had plenty of fans located in the warehouse. The beers were good, I did like some more than others (again this is based on my preference to beer). I like more amber, blonde, wheat beers, and ciders. The blonde, wheat, and cider beer was my favorite. They had a delicious apple pie cider, very good! And the blonde beer was very refreshing and crisp. I wasn't a big fan of the wheat beer, it seemed a little to far off from what I look for in a wheat beer, a lot more hoppy too. My fiancé had the Nitro beer I believe it was called, "Babycakes" he said that was very tasting! I would definitely go back here again; the beer wasn't my absolute favorite beer, but it definitely wasn't bad! The location has such a great ambiance I would come back to drink some beer relax in the warehouse and play some corn hole! read more

Walking Tree is great in many ways. The staff is knowledgable, helpful, and happy to be there. The beers are true works of art. A good selection for a range of beer tastes, and each beer I have tried has been a dynamic triumph. After visiting Sailfish Brewery in FP, and the brand new American Icon brew pub in VB recently, Walking Tree stands out as being focused more passionately on beer as an art. You can feel and taste their dedication to, and love of beer. I love to see their beers in local restaurants and will go to one just because I know they have it. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5, is that there is no AC in the main room. They do have an air-conditioned lounge, and they have spent what I'd bet is a fortune on fans of every type, but Florida is hot. I get it, the place is a giant warehouse. I still go and I still love it. I just like it better in the winter. read more
