It's a step into the past, in more ways than one. The memorabilia sparked memories, the service was impressive, the food was delicious. Congenial staff, fresh and tasty food from the kitchen served in a timely fashion and we all ordered from the menu. I'm sure my eggs were farm fresh ( I know about these things). I can highly recommend this quaint, wayside, unpretentious diner. We will return next year for the feeding of ourselves and the elk.

They were hard to bite, hard to chew, and hard to swallow. Condiments helped, but not enough. Maybe this is (part of) why orders were taking so long. - the tater tots were beyond crispy - there was no potato left in them. It was fun for the first couple of tots, but then it had a really artificial feel to it - like those french fries that you buy in the potato chip bags.
