Talked to Elliot ( the owner) and learned a lot about the history of the place- amazing job done to preserve that over 100 years of being many businesses before the bar and grill. Will be back to try the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich recommended by Elliot. Great price for 3 people to have dinner and a few beers for around $50.00. Food was good but I'd def have them hold the pineapple next time on our vegetarian pizza - it didn't work well for my taste. My wife and I have driven past this place for years--16 to be exact--and finally decided to stop in…read moreafter some of her coworkers recommended it. I'd always been curious about the name (turns out it's actually named after a Led Zeppelin song, which is awesome). Right away, the vibe was super chill and welcoming. They've got cocktails here too, not just beer, and I've got to say--the "Bad Santa" was incredible. Basically an adult hot cocoa, and easily one of the best things I've had in a while. Their blonde was a little hoppier than expected (in a good way), and the blueberry beer was really smooth and flavorful. But the real showstopper here is the pizza. These aren't your average bar pizzas--they're handmade, beautifully done, and full of flavor. You really have to see or taste them to understand how much love goes into making them. And the prices? Totally reasonable for how good they are. After all these years of driving by, I can't believe we waited this long to check it out. Great drinks, amazing pizza, and a cool atmosphere--we'll definitely be back.

I had a single tall jack daniels and coke, which was delicious. The bartender was generous with the pour. All the food here is made to order and came out hot, fresh, and filling. I highly recommend the squatch burger. It is half a pound of ground beef with an egg on top. It was exactly what my husband needed after our adventure. My son raved about the flavor in his pizza. He said the crust itself tasted different than other pizzas and he loved it. They go heavy on the sauce. I enjoyed my shredded chicken nachos with freshly sliced jalapeños. Their jojos were gigantic! Try it with their fry sauce. Come eat here when you're in the area. You will not be disappointed!

**Curley's II: A Bar Worthy of Glory... Trapped in a Town with a Name That Haunts My Soul**…read more Let's begin with what is **perfect**--Curley's II. This bar is a **masterpiece**, a beacon of warmth and revelry in the heart of central Washington. The drinks? **Flawless.** Cold, crisp, perfectly poured. The service? **Unparalleled.** The bartenders are like mind-readers, anticipating your every need before you even realize you have one. The atmosphere? **A triumph of human achievement.** It's the kind of place where time slows down, where every sip is a celebration, where laughter ricochets off the walls like echoes of joy itself. But then--there is Kittitas. **Kittitas.** A town whose name is **deeply unsettling**, and frankly, should be reconsidered at once. Who decided it should be spelled that way? Where did the second "t" come from? Who thought it was wise to create a name that somehow **always** looks like a typo? No matter how many times I type "Kittitas," my brain screams, *Did I mean to write that?* And the pronunciation? **Unforgivable.** You see it written and think, "Surely this is pronounced KIT-ih-tas." But no. **No.** It insists on being "KIT-uh-tass," a revelation that shakes the very foundation of trust between written and spoken language. Why does it defy phonetic logic? Why does it feel like it was designed specifically to confuse the unwary traveler? Let's talk aesthetics. The name *sounds* like it belongs to a species of wild cat that doesn't exist. *Behold--the noble Kittitas, prowling the forests of the Pacific Northwest.* But it is not a cat. It is not even cat-adjacent. Instead, it is a name that lingers in your mind long after you've left, **demanding answers that history refuses to provide**. Yet, despite being imprisoned within the tyranny of its name, Curley's II stands tall. It **refuses** to let Kittitas drag it down into the abyss of linguistic disarray. Instead, it **thrives**, proving that even in the face of adversity--such as a town name that feels like a practical joke--it is possible to achieve greatness. **Five stars to Curley's II.** And one profoundly distressed sigh for Kittitas. Would it be better named **Literally Anything Else**? Absolutely. But until then, **Curley's II** remains a **shining beacon of hope in the midst of alphabetical chaos.**
